学习目标

1. 看六组句子，自己说出 -ing 放在名词前、名词后、be 动词后各起什么作用。

2. 会用 -ing 写一个武汉节日的场面：作前置定语、后置定语、表语各至少一处。

3. 句子里同时出现人和物时，能在 -ing 与 -ed 之间选对，并说出理由。

学习重难点

重点：-ing 作前置定语、后置定语和表语的三种位置，以及每种位置上的两种身份。

难点：① 前置定语里“说状态”和“说用途”（be used for）怎么分；② 表语位置上是形容词还是动名词，看主语能不能换过来；③ 感到的人用 -ed、让人感到的物用 -ing，不能反推成“人一律用 -ed”。

学情分析

学生初中就见过 interesting、exciting，课文里也碰过 Families celebrating the Lunar New Year 这类后置定语，但多数人凭语感选，没系统归纳过 -ing 放名词前还是放后、作表语时是形容词还是动名词；最容易错的是和 -ed 混用。这节课的例句取自学生自己会去、或者刚去过的武汉场面，包括东湖灯会、东湖绿道、吉庆街、归元寺、黄鹤楼、长江灯光秀；先看位置，再说功能，最后落到单句填空和汉译英。
