根据下文“when it comes to hospitals”可知,这里指医院里的医护人员,应选用hospital。
根据“no time in saving lives”以及急救的语境可知,此处表示不浪费时间,应选用wasting。
根据“a call from Wuhan Asia General Hospital for blood”可知,血液中心是接到电话,应选用received。
根据“help itself make a right landing”可知,是临近目的地时扫码,应选用close。

Chinese football was sad. The national team couldn’t make it to the next World Cup. But then, something great happened. A new football league (联赛) in Jiangsu Province caught everyone’s attention. People call it Sucho, which is short for Jiangsu Football City League. It might change Chinese football for the better.
In just over 30 days and four rounds of games, Sucho became really popular. Thirteen teams, standing for thirteen cities in Jiangsu, play on weekends. In May, 2025, 18 exciting games had more than 195,700 people watching. During the fourth round, about 20,000 people came to each game. One game even had 30,000 fans! Social media is full of information about Sucho. Tickets are only 10 yuan each, but sometimes they are sold for 10 times that price. In other big leagues, tickets can cost hundreds of yuan each.
Why is Sucho so popular? First, the games are pure. In professional (专业的) leagues, there are often too many business deals and problems. In Sucho, players play for fun and honor. Some are professionals, and some are just common people who love football. There’s no cheating or secret deals, just hard work and excitement.
Sucho also shows the culture of Jiangsu. Each city has its own special food, customs, and culture. Fans cheer for their hometown, not for a company. Slogans (标语) like “No match-fixing, no biased (有偏见的) refs (裁判员), just long-standing (长期的) rivalry” make people laugh and feel proud.
This league is good for the local development too. When there are games, hotels fill up. More people visit local places. Stores and restaurants make more money. One weekend, people spent over a million yuan on tourism.
The best part is that Sucho is for everyone. Whether you’re young or old, a beginner or almost a professional player, you can watch or play. It brings football back to neighborhoods and schools.
Sucho isn’t just a passing fashion; it’s a big change. It shows what football can be when it’s simple and for the fans. It promotes the development of the economy as well as culture, and makes people happy. Maybe it’s the start of something great for Chinese football.
21. Why does the writer mention “Chinese football was sad.” in the first paragraph?
A. To explain the reasons behind the fans’ disappointment.
B. To compare Chinese national football leagues with international ones.
C. To compare the fans’ past sadness with the hope brought by the new league.
D. To show the popularity of the new football league in Jiangsu.
22. What is the main idea of the second paragraph?
A. The high cost of tickets for Sucho games in Jiangsu.
B. The rapid popularity and success of Sucho in Jiangsu.
C. The number of teams and games of Sucho.
D. The influence of social media on Sucho’s development.
23. What does the underlined word “rivalry” in the passage probably mean?
A. Teamwork. B. Friendship. C. Agreement. D. Competition.
24. Which of the following are the reasons why Sucho is popular?
① It is suitable for everyone. ② It shows the culture of Jiangsu.
③ It develops the game worldwide. ④ The games are pure.

Celebrating a birthday in space is very different from that on Earth. Your birthday cake would float in the air, and you cannot light the candles. Astronauts must be careful not to start fires in the shuttle, so lighting candles is not allowed. But your friends can still sing “Happy Birthday” Voices work normally in space because weightlessness does not affect sound. The main reason everything floats is that there is very little gravity (重力) in space, making objects almost weightless.
Many astronauts feel sick during the first few days in space, but this feeling usually goes away. Some even feel like they have a cold all the time. Why? Without gravity, the fluids in their bodies move toward their heads. This makes their faces look fatter because more blood flows to the face. At the same time, their waists become smaller and their chests look bigger.
Astronauts can grow 1 to 2 inches taller in space. Gravity normally presses on the spine (脊柱), but in space, the spine stretches without this pressure. When they return to Earth, their height goes back to normal. Staying in space also weakens bones and muscles. Muscles are not used as much in weightlessness, so they become weaker. Bones lose minerals and become weaker too. Even the heart is affected and becomes less strong.
In space, because everything is weightless, astronauts can lift heavy objects easily—they can even lift each other! However, staying still is harder than moving. To stop floating, they hold onto handholds or tie themselves to chairs. Velcro is used to keep things from floating around, like food or tools. It’s a world where gravity’s absence changes everything, from birthday celebrations to how the body works.

China will strengthen the control of overpriced mooncakes to create a healthy environment of the industry.
