3. 语言小贴士（考点归纳）。

① 提建议句型：Why not do sth.?（Why not come to the club?）；How about / What about doing sth.?（How about practising?）；You could do sth.；You’d better do sth.。

② 动词不定式作宾语：want / would like / decide / hope / try / forget to do sth.。例：I want to play the main character.

③ 动词不定式作宾语补足语：ask / tell / want / would like sb. to do sth.。例：Jane wants Liu Wei to act in her play.

④ 动词不定式作目的状语：表“为了……”。例：He practises hard to improve his pronunciation.

⑤ be good at + 名词/动名词，意为“擅长……”：I’m not good at performing in front of others.

⑥ be afraid of doing sth. / be afraid to do sth. 意为“害怕做某事”：I’m afraid I can’t do it well.

⑦ give it a try 意为“试一试”：I’ll give it a try.

⑧ practice makes perfect 是谚语，意为“熟能生巧”；practice 在此作不可数名词。

⑨ keep on doing sth. 意为“继续做某事”：Just keep on practising and you’ll make progress.

⑩ in front of 指“在……（外部）前面”，in the front of 指“在……（内部）前部”，注意区分。

⑪ make + 宾语 + 形容词，意为“使……变得”：Let’s make it perfect.

⑫ What if ...? 意为“要是……该怎么办？”，用于提出假设：What if I make mistakes?
