(When / Where / Why / What / How),要求答到“那一处信息”;二是一般疑问句(Do you like…),要求先 Yes/No 再给理由;三是概括题(What can you learn from…),要求提炼主旨而非摘抄;四是开放性题(What is the medicine of the mind to you? 值得注意的是,8 篇里有 3 篇的主人公都叫 David(作曲家 David、救人的 David Fisher、患病后靠音乐康复的 David Smith)。 When 找时间、Where 找地点、Why 找原因、Who 找人、How 找方式、What 找事件或内容。 原文正好是一句完整答案(如 Because it is our precious cultural treasure.) 二、结合本次特训题目的实战点拨 【点拨1】问句里的连词不能照抄进答案——以 Passage 1 题 2 为例:原文对应句是:“Since some teenagers know little about opera, these young artists share short videos online.” 题干把 Since 引导的原因状语也塞了进去,问的是「artists 做什么」,因此答句不必重复原因,删掉从句、只留主句 they share short videos online 即可,答 They share short opera videos online. 【点拨2】Why 问句用 Because 开头——以 Passage 2 题 1 为例:原文给出的原因句是:“Because Kunqu is a priceless world‑level cultural heritage, they spend hours practising singing, acting and body movements every single day.” Because it is a priceless heritage.(6 词)提示:Why 题的答案 = 原文 because 之后的内容,压缩时保留核心名词即可。 【点拨3】启示题答“道理”不答“情节”——以 Passage 3 题 3 为例:原文末段已把道理点明:“if you have a gift and work hard, you can achieve your dreams.” If we have a gift and work hard, we can achieve our dreams. 若答 He studied hard and became a composer,那只是情节复述,不得分。 【点拨4】“至少两点”要并列成一句——以 Passage 4 题 3 为例:原文末段给的正是两点:“It also teaches students to be creative and patient.” 与 “Many students find it a good way to relax after a week of hard work.” We can learn to be creative and patient, and relax ourselves. 【点拨5】开放题先表态再给理由——以 Passage 5 题 3 为例:原文可借用的依据是:“Lay’s work proves traditional culture can be cool for teens with pop music.” Yes. Because it makes traditional culture cool for teenagers. 【点拨6】时间题答“时间状语”即可——以 Passage 6 题 1 为例:题干问 When,原文对应句是:“One winter day, David and his son Felix were outside.” 答句写成 One winter day. It happened one winter day. 【点拨7】How 题答“方式 + 结果”——以 Passage 7 题 2 为例:原文对应句是:“This positive (积极的) and uplifting song gave me strength and helped me go through the darkness.” It gave him strength and helped him go through the darkness. 【点拨8】概括题用原文的并列结构——以 Passage 8 题 2 为例:原文有一句现成的并列结构:“High-quality original works, mentioned many times during the interview with Zhang and Luo, as well as loyal fans matter most in the development of Chinese musical industry.” High-quality original works and loyal fans matter most,直接取并列的两项作答。 A as well as B / not only A but also B Passage 1 Many young performers work hard for Beijing opera. Because it is our precious cultural treasure, they spend hours practising singing and acting every day. Since some teenagers know little about opera, these young artists share short videos online. As they hope more young people will fall in love with this art, they keep trying new creative ways. 1.Why do young performers practise opera for long hours every day? _______________________________________________________________ 2.Since some teenagers know little about opera, what do artists do? _______________________________________________________________ 3.As they hope more young people love opera, what do they keep doing? _______________________________________________________________ Passage 2 Young Kunqu performers devote plenty of time to their art in their daily life. Because Kunqu is a priceless world‑level cultural heritage, they spend hours practising singing, acting and body movements every single day. Since most teenagers are busy with heavy schoolwork and know little about this 600‑year‑old ancient opera, these young performers make full use of social‑media platforms. As they hope more young people will become interested in this soft and poetic art form, they keep trying creative new ways to spread Kunqu culture. (每题回答不超过 8 个单词) 1.Why do young Kunqu performers practise for long hours every day? _______________________________________________________________ 2.Since most teenagers know little about Kunqu, what do performers do? _______________________________________________________________ 3.As they hope more young people love Kunqu, what do they keep doing? _______________________________________________________________ Passage 3 David was a boy who loved music. He started learning the guitar when he was eight years old. He practised every day and soon became very good. David’s dream was to become a composer. He wanted to write music for films. He studied hard and attended a famous music school. There, he learned from great teachers and met many talented musicians. After he graduated, David worked hard to write music. He faced many difficulties, but he never gave up. Finally, he wrote music for a big film. It was a great success, and he won an award. David learned an important lesson: if you have a gift and work hard, you can achieve your dreams. Music is a beautiful thing, and it can change your life. 1.When did David start learning the guitar? _______________________________________________________________ 2.What did David do to achieve his dream? _______________________________________________________________ 3.What can you learn from David’s story? _______________________________________________________________ Passage 4 A New Club at Sunshine Middle School To make school life more colourful, Sunshine Middle School has started a new club this term—the DIY Club. The club is open to all students who are interested in making things by hand. The club meets every Friday afternoon in the Art Building, Room 302. Students can learn to make all kinds of things, such as paper flowers, model planes, and small bags. The club teacher, Mr. Li, is very good at making things. He always shows students how to do it first, and then lets them try by themselves. “I joined the club because I love making things,” says Wang Lin, a student from Class 2, Grade 9. “Last week, I made a beautiful card for my mother’s birthday. She was very happy. It feels great to make something with my own hands.” The DIY Club is not just about making things. It also teaches students to be creative and patient. Many students find it a good way to relax after a week of hard work. 1.Where does the DIY Club meet? _______________________________________________________________ 2.Why did Wang Lin join the club? _______________________________________________________________ 3.What can you learn from joining the DIY Club? (Give at least two points.) _______________________________________________________________ Passage 5 Lay Zhang’s (Zhang Yixing) recent concert is a great example of mixing Chinese traditional culture with pop music, with Dunhuang culture as its highlight. This music and visual show, praised by national media, gives new meaning to “traditional is popular” and builds young people’s cultural pride. The show’s core was connecting Dunhuang culture with Lay’s M-POP style. When he sang Flying Apsaras (飞天), short parts from the Dunhuang-themed play Called by Dunhuang were added to the music, linking the song closer to Dunhuang’s history. With camel bells and desert winds in the background, 3D pictures brought Dunhuang wall paintings to life, and dancers copied the “flowing clothes, flying like clouds” beauty of apsaras figures. New technology improved the experience. A 2,200-square-meter round screen showed digital classic paintings. Lay wore a 3D-printed golden costume, which was inspired by Dunhuang paintings and was lifted like a Dunhuang apsara, making the audience feel in a Dunhuang cave. After the concert, many students searched for Dunhuang stories online; some planned to visit Mogao Grottoes. Lay’s work proves traditional culture can be cool for teens with pop music. This mix makes concerts fun and helps young people learn more about their culture. 1.What’s the highlight of Lay’s concert? _______________________________________________________________ 2.What did 3D pictures do for Dunhuang wall paintings? _______________________________________________________________ 3.Do you like the mix of Chinese pop music and traditional culture? Why? _______________________________________________________________ Passage 6 David Fisher is good at jumping rope. He has written some children’s books about a hero who jumps rope. Last December, the stories he wrote became a reality. One winter day, David and his son Felix were outside. Suddenly, Felix heard someone crying for help and immediately told his father. They followed the sound and discovered that their neighbor and his dog had fallen into the icy lake. David ran to get his jump rope and carefully walked onto the ice to help. Although the ice was cracking (裂开) under his feet, he kept moving forward and finally threw one end of the rope to his neighbor. The young man caught the rope. With the help of Felix, David slowly pulled the neighbor and the dog to a safe place. Then they took the neighbor and his dog home to warm them up. David has already held three world records for his amazing jumping rope skills. Now he has something even more special because of what he did—the Lifesaving Citizen Award from his city. David hopes that others can do the same thing. “I hope that when a cry for help is heard, everyone can do anything they can to help out,” he said. David’s story shows that a hero is not someone with superpowers—sometimes he just holds a jump rope. 1.When did David and Felix find their neighbor in the icy lake? _______________________________________________________________ 2.What did David use to help his neighbor get out of the lake? _______________________________________________________________ 3.What award did David get from his city? _______________________________________________________________ 4.What can we learn from the story? _______________________________________________________________ Passage 7 Hello, I’m David Smith. Now I’d like to share with you the story of how music has had a strong influence on my life. Have you ever faced a time when things looked dark and you had no hope at all? Two years ago, I had a pain in my body all the time. So I went to the doctor. I was told I had a serious illness which was difficult to cure. And I thought I didn’t have much longer to live. I was very afraid and I felt so lonely and sad. Then one day, I had to go through a two-hour medical treatment. The doctor wanted me to relax, so she played some music for me, and one of the songs was Happy, which has been my favorite song till now. This positive (积极的) and uplifting song gave me strength and helped me go through the darkness. From then on, I began to listen to music all the time. John A.Logan once said, “Music is the medicine of the mind.” And it’s true. Music helped me get well and come back to life. Of course, I hope none of you have to experience the same kind of pain that I did. However, we all have some periods when we feel sad or lonely. During those times, music can help you in the same way that it helped me. I hope all of you will value music and make it a part of your life. 1.What did the doctor tell David Smith two years ago? _______________________________________________________________ 2.How did the song Happy help David? _______________________________________________________________ 3.To David, music is the medicine of the mind. What is the medicine of the mind to you? Why? _______________________________________________________________ Passage 8 “In the absence of foreign musicals during the Covid-19 pandemic, Chinese musicals have grown up, bringing a number of original (原创) works into the musical market and building its confidence,” Zhang Zhilin, a musical producer and founder of Shanghai C-Musicals Cultural Company, told the Global Times on Thursday. However, a recent article says that Chinese musicals are losing their best state (状态) as the “South Korean idol (偶像) culture” has been introduced to the market. This has led to a boom (繁荣) in the musical industry, but it could not last long. The article said that fans are buying tickets not for truly loving musicals but just as an act to support their “idols”. Zhang and Luo Luo, a cultural investor (资方), disagreed with the views in the article. “Any culture needs guiding correctly,” Luo said. “And it’s our duty to lead the right way.” She thinks the fans’ love of the performers allows them to discover the charm of musicals. Moreover, the money brought in through tickets will make it possible to produce more excellent original works, which will finally turn these fans into real musical lovers. High-quality original works, mentioned many times during the interview with Zhang and Luo, as well as loyal fans matter most in the development of Chinese musical industry. “We hope to create great original pieces that tell the story of both famous and common people who are longing for better life, in the hope that they would bring out the best in human beings.” Zhang said. Musical fan Han, who has watched several foreign musicals, said that she has been looking forward to wonderful China-made musicals that reach the same level of quality as her favorites from the West. (Adapted from Global Times) 1.What is Zhang Zhilin? _______________________________________________________________ 2.What are the most important things in the development of Chinese musical industry? _______________________________________________________________ 3.In your opinion, what influence does “South Korean idol culture” have on China’s show business (娱乐业)? _______________________________________________________________ 【答案】 1.Because it is our precious cultural treasure. 2.They share short opera videos online. 3.They keep trying new creative ways. 文章“Because it is our precious cultural treasure, they spend hours practising singing and acting every day.” 2.文章“Since some teenagers know little about opera, these young artists share short videos online.” 3.文章“As they hope more young people will fall in love with this art, they keep trying new creative ways.” Passage 2 Young Kunqu performers devote plenty of time to their art in their daily life. _______________________________________________________________ 【答案】 1.Because it is a priceless heritage. 2.They use social‑media platforms. 3.They keep trying creative new ways. Kunqu is a priceless world‑level cultural heritage,这是他们坚持练习的原因。 2.原文提到 these young performers make full use of social‑media platforms。 3.原文提到 they keep trying creative new ways to spread Kunqu culture。 Passage 3 David was a boy who loved music. They followed the sound and discovered that their neighbor and his dog had fallen into the icy lake. David ran to get his jump rope and carefully walked onto the ice to help. Although the ice was cracking (裂开) under his feet, he kept moving forward and finally threw one end of the rope to his neighbor. The young man caught the rope. Passage 8 “In the absence of foreign musicals during the Covid-19 pandemic, Chinese musicals have grown up, bringing a number of original (原创) works into the musical market and building its confidence,” Zhang Zhilin, a musical producer and founder of Shanghai C-Musicals Cultural Company, told the Global Times on Thursday.
