【How】 作者按照“所见(what I see)—所闻(what I hear)—所思(what I think)”的脉络组织语篇,采用旅行日志的文体形式,融合了事实陈述与个人感悟。文中运用了丰富的描写性语言(如graceful animals, snow-covered mountains)和说明性语言(如population dropped by more than 50 percent, placed it under national protection),同时使用了直接引语(如“We’re not trying to save the animals,” he says. “Actually, we’re trying to save ourselves.”) 文本中涉及野生动物保护话题的核心词块有:observe Tibetan antelopes, illegally hunted, under national protection, watch over, habitat, endangered species, exist in harmony with nature等。
1. What I know
2. What I want to know
3. What I learned

Unit2 Wildlife Protection
Reading and Thinking
