Passage1(课内同源:五连冠的中国女排)
On 16 November 1981, in Osaka, Japan, the Chinese women's volleyball team played the Soviet-trained Japanese side in the final of the World Cup. China won three sets to two, and a whole country heard the news on the radio that evening. It was the first world title in the history of Chinese team ball games. / The victory began a golden period. Between 1981 and 1986 the team won five world championships in a row: the 1981 World Cup, the 1982 World Championship, the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, the 1985 World Cup and the 1986 World Championship. Newspapers called the fighting spirit of the team a treasure of the nation. / Life was hard behind the medals. The players trained for hours every day, and some of them passed out during the summer sessions. Their coach demanded that every ball be saved, even in practice. / One name connects the two golden ages: Lang Ping. As a main attacker she helped win four of the five titles. 任务四范文:Sportsmanship, in my eyes, is not only about winning. Last term I signed up for the 800-metre race at our sports meeting, though I was far from the fastest runner. When the race began, I went all out and kept going even after my legs started to hurt. Halfway through, the girl beside me fell over, so I slowed down and helped her up. We finished almost last, but we showed respect for each other and for the race itself. Our PE teacher said that was the best moment of the day. Now I understand that the track teaches us to try our best and to stand in the face of difficulties, just like true athletes do.
