空格位于“the history of this _____”中。 festival(节日)与上下文主题完全对应;name(名字)、school(学校)、street(街道)均与“history of...”
“one of the most _____ festivals”结构需填形容词作定语修饰festivals。important(重要的)符合事实——中秋节是中国四大传统节日之一;beautiful(美丽的)虽可修饰节日但非本文强调的核心属性;difficult(困难的)、dangerous(危险的)语义不通。
空格位于“It is a _____ for all the people”中,不定冠词a/an提示填可数名词单数。holiday(假日/节日)指公共假期,符合语境——中秋节是全民共享的传统佳节;end(末端)、cookie(饼干)、fog(雾)均无法表达“节日/假期”的含义。
空格位于“a reunion _____ for families”中,time(时刻/时间)为可数名词单数,“a reunion time for families”即“家庭团聚的时刻”,后文“just like Thanksgiving Day(就像感恩节一样)”进一步佐证了这是家庭团聚的时间概念;table(桌子)、boot(靴子)、camp(营地)均不搭配reunion且语义不符。
空格位于“They admire the moon, _____ mooncakes”中,admire the moon与_____ mooncakes为并列动作,eat(吃)mooncakes是中秋节最核心的传统活动之一;meet(见面)、move(移动)、plant(种植)均与mooncakes搭配不当。
空格位于“in many other _____”中,后文明确举例“Singapore and Malaysia(新加坡和马来西亚)”均为国家名称,countries(国家)与之完全吻合;shops(商店)、boxes(盒子)、cities(城市)虽在语法上成立,但新加坡和马来西亚是国家而非城市。
空格位于“in the _____ year”中,coming year / next year意为“来年/明年”,表达对来年再次丰收的美好祈愿;playing(玩耍的)、learning(学习的)、raining(下雨的)均不能与year搭配表达此含义。
空格位于“a lot of _____ to eat”中,to eat提示填可食用之物。

Passage3
(25-26七年级上·江苏宿迁·期末)Money plays an important role in our daily life. It helps us get what we need and makes our life easier. What do you do with your money? We often do two things: spend it and save it.
How to spend it wisely is a useful skill for everyone. Spending money well doesn’t mean never buying what you like. It means making smart choices(选择)to use money in a good way. Families spend money on many things. They buy food, clothes, and a house to live in. They also pay for school, transport, and having fun. During holidays, like the Spring Festival, they may spend more money on gifts and nice food. Spending money helps us get what we need and enjoy life.
Saving money is also important. It means keeping some money for the future. For example, you can save to buy a big thing like a new bike. A great time to start saving is after a holiday if you get some money as a gift. When you get money from your parents, don’t spend it all at once. Instead(反而), put it into three parts: one for needs, one for small wants, and one for saving. In this way, you can balance(平衡)between spending and saving. Saving also helps when something unexpected(出乎意料的)happens. If your schoolbag gets broken, you will have enough money to buy a new one. It’s a good idea to save for a rainy day.
It is good to find a balance. Don’t spend all your money, and don’t save all of it. A balance can help you live a better life. People often put their money in a bank. The bank keeps the money safe. Sometimes, the bank also gives a little money. Students can use a piggy bank at home to save coins—it’s fun to watch the coins grow.
Be careful with your money. Save and spend well to have a better life.

I spent the next hour carefully painting it with bright colors and nice designs. When I finished, she put a two-dollar coin into it. “Let this be the start of your savings,” she told me.
Then, she told me a story about when she was a little girl.
One sunny day, she went to a fair (集市) with her dad. The air was full of sounds and smells—there was music, laughing, and the sweet smell of candy. Her father gave her a dollar. “You can choose,” he said kindly. “You can buy some candy to eat now, or you can buy one of those baby chickens.”
He pointed to a box with many small, soft chickens. “If you choose a chicken, you will take it home. You must give it food and water and take care of it. It will grow up to be a hen. The hen will lay eggs. You can eat the eggs or sell them. Later, you may have more chickens and more eggs. One day, you could have a lot more than one dollar.”
My grandma looked at the pretty candy. It looked very good. Then she looked at the little chickens. They were moving and making soft sounds. She made her choice (选择). “I will buy the baby chicken,” she said to her father in a loud voice.
Back home, her father helped her make a little house for the chicken. He showed her how to give it water and food. Then, he smiled kindly, took her favorite candy from his pocket, and gave it to her. So, she got to eat the candy after all.
Grandma looked at me kindly. “That little chicken taught me a valuable lesson about making wise choices,” she said. “And that is the story behind your money box.”

In modern China, people celebrate January 1st as “Yuan Dan”. The name has a special meaning. “Yuan” means “the start”, and “Dan” means “morning”. The Chinese character “Dan” looks like the sun coming up above the line where the earth meets the sky. So, “Yuan Dan” can be described as “the first sunrise of the year”.
But long ago, this name did not mean January 1st. For thousands of years, it meant the first day of the Lunar New Year. The exact day often changed when a new emperor (皇帝) ruled. For example, the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties (朝代) each started their new year in a different month. It was not until the Han Dynasty that the day was set as the beginning of spring in the lunar calendar.
Today’s meaning came about in the 20th century. In 1912, China began using the Western solar calendar (Gregorian calendar) to be like the rest of the world. Later, in 1949, the government made the two holidays different: January 1st became “Yuan Dan,” and the traditional lunar new year was called “Spring Festival”.
It is interesting that the date January 1st comes from ancient Rome. In 46 B.C., Julius Caesar chose this day to honor Janus. Janus had two faces—one looking back at the past and one looking forward to the future, making this date a perfect symbol for the start of a new year. Today, China’s Yuan Dan blends this worldwide tradition with its own rich culture, looking forward with hope just as the sun rises on a new morning.

Passage9
As students in Grade Seven, we may start to get pocket money from our parents or grandparents. Some of us get a little every week, while others get more on festivals. However, many of us don’t know how to manage our pocket money well. 1 It not only helps us avoid (避免) wasting money, but also teaches us the value (价值) of hard work and saving, which is an important part of growing up.
First, we need to make a clear plan for our pocket money. 2 For example, we can divide (划分) our money into three parts: money for daily snacks or small toys, money for necessary (必要的) things like stationery (文具), and money to save for future needs. Without a plan, we may spend all our money on unimportant things and regret (后悔) it later.
Second, we should learn to tell the difference between “needs” and “wants”. 3 “Wants” are things we don’t need to live, but we just want to have fun, like expensive cartoon posters or new game skins It’s easy to spend too much money on “wants”, so we need to control ourselves and spend more on “needs”.
Third, saving money is a good habit we should develop (培养). We can put our saved money in a piggy bank (存钱罐) or ask our parents to help us keep it. 4 For example, if we save enough money, we can buy a book we really want, a gift for our family, or even help people in need. Saving money also makes us feel safe, because we have money to use when we meet unexpected needs.
5 If we make a mistake in managing our money, don’t worry. We can learn from it and try better next time. Remember, managing pocket money well is not easy, but it’s a useful skill that will help us a lot in the future. It teaches us responsibility (责任感) and helps us become wiser about money.
A.Managing pocket money well is a useful skill for every student.
B.“Needs” are things we must have to live or study, such as food, clothes and stationery.
C.We can use the saved money to do something meaningful.
D.We should spend all our pocket money on things we like to make ourselves happy.
E.Making a plan can help us use our money wisely and avoid waste.
F.It’s impossible (不可能的) for students to manage their pocket money well.
G.Finally, we should learn from our mistakes and keep trying to do better.
【答案】1.A 2.E 3.B 4.C 5.G

3.根据文章第三段“Second, we should learn to tell the difference between ‘needs’ and ‘wants’.(其次,我们应该学会区分‘必需品’和‘想要的东西’。)” B“‘Needs’ are things we must have to live or study, such as food, clothes and stationery.”

5.根据文章第五段“If we make a mistake in managing our money, don’t worry. We can learn from it and try better next time.(如果我们在理财上犯了错误,不要担心。我们可以从中吸取教训,下次努力做得更好。)”可推知结论最后我们应该从错误中学习并不断努力做得更好,且选项G“Finally, we should learn from our mistakes and keep trying to do better.”

Let’s think about this: Your parents will be away for a week. They give you 800 yuan. 1 It’s not smart to spend all on clothes—if you already have nice ones, right? A better way is to use it for food and bus costs. You may also need to save some for a rainy day.
2 It means choosing what’s the most important to you, and how much to spend on those things.
The important part of a budget is knowing what you need most. 3 The next time your friend invites you to go shopping, you might say “no”.

C.By using a piggy bank for coins. D.By not buying any small things.

Passage8
1.Which picture best shows the meaning of the Chinese character “Dan”?
A. B. C. D.
2.What did “Yuan Dan” mean in ancient China for a long time?

C.The start of spring in the Han Dynasty.

3.How is the passage mainly organized?
A.By time order. B.By place change.
C.By people’s stories. D. By different ideas.
4.What is the best title for the passage?
A.China and Rome: Two Traditions.
B.The importance of Spring Festival.

But having a budget doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. You just need to be creative Instead of eating pizza out and going to the cinema with friends, you can invite them to your place. Buy frozen pizza at the supermarket, then watch a movie online at home. 4
As a young man, you have lots of chances to try budgeting in different ways. You can look for them on the internet. When you find one that works, you will get excited about budgeting. Don’t worry if you make mistakes (错误). 5 It’s part of becoming a perfect spender.

D.You buy many new things for friends.
E.If you spend too much money, just learn from it.
