Half of the students skipped breakfast at least twice a week. A third drank a sweet drink every day. Only one in five ate three portions of vegetables. / Her advice was small and specific. Replace one sweet drink with water. Add one vegetable to dinner. Keep fruit beside your desk. “Do not change everything on Monday,” she said. “Change one thing, and keep it for a month.” / At the end, a boy asked whether chocolate was now forbidden. Fruit is rich in vitamins and costs less than a sweet drink. Second, I suggest offering one vegetable dish at a lower price every day, so that students who bring little money can still eat well. The canteen is already clean and the staff are kind; these two changes would make the healthy choice the easy choice. I hope the committee will consider them.
