But Mastro Geppetto, in order to punish him for his mischief (淘气), let him alone the whole morning. After dinner, he said to him: “Why should I make your feet over again? To see you run away from home once more?”

“But Pinocchio is not like other boys! I am better than all of them and I always tell the truth. I promise you, Father, that I’ll learn a skill, and I’ll be the comfort of your old age.”
Geppetto, though trying to look very stern, felt his eyes fill with tears and his heart softened when he saw Pinocchio so unhappy. He said no more, but taking his tools and two pieces of wood, he set to work.
In less than an hour the feet were finished, strong and quick, modeled as if by an artist’s hands.
“Close your eyes and sleep!” Geppetto then said to the Marionette.
Pinocchio closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep, while Geppetto stuck on the two feet with a bit of glue melted in an eggshell.
The Marionette felt his new feet, and started to skip and jump around, as if he had lost his head from very joy.
“To show you how thankful I am to you, Father, I’ll go to school now. But to go to school I need a suit of clothes.”
Geppetto did not have a penny in his pocket, so he made his son a little suit of flowered paper, a pair of shoes from the bark of a tree, and a tiny cap from a bit of dough.
Pinocchio ran to look at himself in a bowl of water, and he felt so happy that he said proudly: “Now I look like a gentleman.”
“Truly,” answered Geppetto, “But remember that fine clothes do not make the man unless they are tidy and clean.”
“Very true,” answered Pinocchio, “but, in order to go to school, I still need something very important.”
“What is it?”
“An A-B-C book.”
Putting on his old coat, full of darns and patches (补丁), he ran out of the house without another word. After a while he returned. In his hands, he had the A-B-C book for his son, but the old coat was gone. The poor father was in his shirt sleeves (袖子) and it was cold.

1.根据文中第7段“Geppetto, though trying to look very stern, felt his eyes fill with tears and his heart soften...”
2.梳理故事发展顺序:文中第2段提到“To see you run away from home once more?”,说明Pinocchio之前曾离家出走(d);故事开始时Pinocchio哭闹想要新脚(b);文中第6段“But Pinocchio is not like other boys!...I promise you, Father, ... He said no more, but taking his tools and two pieces of wood, he set to work.”匹诺曹做出承诺后,Geppetto内心被打动(e);文中第12和13段“To show you how thankful I am to you, Father, I’ll go to school now. But to go to school I need a suit of clothes...Geppetto did not have a penny in his pocket, so he made his son a little suit of flowered paper, a pair of shoes from the bark of a tree, and a tiny cap from a bit of dough.”说明了做好脚后,Pinocchio要衣服,Geppetto用纸做了一套衣服(c);最后一段中“In his hands, he had the A-B-C book for his son, but the old coat was gone. ”说明了Geppetto为了Pinocchio卖外套换回了书(a)。正确顺序为d-b-e-c-a。
3.根据文章最后一段中“In his hands, he had the A-B-C book for his son, but the old coat was gone. The poor father was in his shirt sleeves and it was cold.” (Geppetto sold his old coat for the A-B-C book)。
Sue and Johnny were two young artists who shared a small studio in New York. In November, a disease called pneumonia came to the city, and Johnny became very ill. The doctor told Sue that Johnny had little chance to live—unless she wanted to live.
Johnny lay in bed, looking out the window. She could see an old ivy vine growing on the brick wall outside. It was winter, and the leaves were falling.
“I’m going to die,” Johnny whispered. “When the last leaf falls from that ivy vine, I will die.”
“Don’t be foolish!” said Sue. “The doctor says you will get well. You must think about your painting.”
But Johnny would not listen. She kept watching the leaves fall. Every day, there were fewer leaves on the vine. A cold wind blew, and more leaves fell.
“There go three more,” Johnny said one morning. “When the last one falls, I will go too.”
Sue was very worried. She went downstairs to see their neighbor, Mr. Behrman. He was an old painter who lived on the ground floor. For years, he had talked about painting a masterpiece, but he had never begun it.
“Johnny is very sick,” Sue told him. “She believes she will die when the last ivy leaf falls.”
Mr. Behrman was angry. “What foolishness!” he shouted. “Such a beautiful young woman should not die because of leaves!”
That night, a terrible storm came. The wind howled, and rain beat against the windows. Sue and Johnny could not sleep. Johnny waited for the last leaf to fall.
When morning came, Johnny asked Sue to open the curtains.
Sue pulled the curtain aside. There, against the brick wall, was one last leaf on the ivy vine. It was dark green and stood strong, right at the edge of the branch.
“It’s the last one,” Johnny said. “It will fall today, and I will die.”
But the leaf did not fall. All day it stayed there, green and alive. Johnny watched it hour after hour.
In the evening, Johnny called out to Sue. “I have been a bad girl,” she said. “The leaf stayed there to show me how foolish I was. Give me some soup, and then bring me my paints. I want to paint again.”
Sue was overjoyed. She brought Johnny food and her painting supplies. The next morning, the doctor came. He said Johnny was getting better. “She will live,” he told Sue.
Then the doctor added, “Downstairs, Mr. Behrman is very sick. He was out in the storm last night, and he is dying. The nurse found him this morning in his room, with his clothes wet and his shoes covered in mud.”
That afternoon, Sue went into Johnny’s room and put her arm around her friend.
“I have something to tell you,” she said quietly. “Mr. Behrman died today. And do you know why he was out in the storm? He was painting. He painted that last leaf on the wall outside. It was his masterpiece.”
Johnny looked out the window. The last leaf was still there, green and strong. But now she understood: it was not a real leaf at all.

White Fang was the lead dog of the pack (群) that pulled the sled (雪橇). He stopped running when he was told to stop and started when he was told to start. The other dogs had to follow him. If they didn’t, Gray Beaver would hit them. The dogs hated White Fang, but the only way they could show their anger was by fighting him in a pack. White Fang was so strong that a dog on his own had no chance to win.
There came a time when Gray Beaver decided to visit Fort Yukon, a place where there were many white men. This was the time of the Gold Rush in Fort Yukon. White men came from all over North America to look for gold. They came first by boat on the Yukon River, and then walked with their dogs to the gold fields. Gray Beaver stayed there and sold local things like shoes and clothing made of animal skin to them. He soon became rich.
These white men’s dogs were not like the dogs of the Native (本地的) Americans. They were smaller and weaker. They were not as brave. They did not fight in packs. White Fang and Gray Beaver’s other dogs attacked and killed many of them. One white man had a gun. He killed six of Gray Beaver’s dogs. White Fang was clever enough to escape (逃跑). The white men quickly learned that White Fang was not like the other dogs. They could see that there was a wolf in him. They didn’t try to touch him the way they touched their own dogs.
No one loved White Fang. He obeyed (服从) Gray Beaver because Gray Beaver was a “god” to him, not because he liked White Fang. White Fang had no friends. He was the enemy of everything and everyone. There was also no kindness or gentleness in White Fang.

All day long the little boy worked hard, in the field and the barn (畜棚) and the shed. But at sunset there came an hour that was all his own, for his father had given it to him. Then the boy would go to the top of a hill and look across at another hill some distance away. On this far hill stood a house with windows of clear gold and diamonds (钻石). They shone and blazed (发亮光) so much that the boy had to blink (眨眼) as he looked at them.
One day, the boy’s father called him and said, “You’ve been a good boy, and have earned a holiday. Take this day for your own, but remember how hard you have worked for it, and try to learn something good.” The boy thanked his father and kissed his mother. He put a piece of bread in his pocket and started off to find the house with the golden windows. Coming up to the house, he could have wept (哭), for the windows were of clear glass. There was no gold anywhere about them.
A woman came to the door and looked kindly at the boy. She asked him what he wanted. Then the woman shook her head, laughed and called her daughter, a child of his age, and nodded kindly at the two before going back to her work.
“You have come quite the wrong way!” she said. “Come with me, and I’ll show you the house with the golden windows. Then you’ll see for yourself.” When they reached the top of the knoll (小圆丘), the girl turned and pointed. There, on a hill far away, stood a house with windows of clear gold and diamonds, just as he had seen them. But the boy saw that it was his own home!
When he came home, his mother came to kiss him, his little sister ran to throw her arms about his neck, and his father looked up and smiled from his seat by the fire.
“Have you had a good day?” asked his mother. The boy said yes. "And have you learned anything?” asked his father. “Yes!” said the boy. “I have learned that our house has windows of gold and diamonds.”

1.根据第一段最后一句“They shone and blazed (发亮光) so much that the boy had to blink (眨眼) as he looked at them.”
2.根据第二段“He put a piece of bread in his pocket and started off to find the house with the golden windows. Coming up to the house, he could have wept (哭), for the windows were of clear glass. There was no gold anywhere about them.”
3.根据第四段“When they reached the top of the knoll (小圆丘), the girl turned and pointed. There...stood a house with windows of clear gold and diamonds...But the boy saw that it was his own home!”和最后一段“I have learned that our house has windows of gold and diamonds.”
Tea has long been a popular drink in China. Chinese people love different kinds of tea. Among them, black tea and white tea from Fujian, green tea from Zhejiang and Anhui, and dark tea from Yunnan are some of the favorites.
In the Song Dynasty (960—1279) , tea culture reached new heights. The beauty of the Song tea came alive through “dian cha”. Powdered (粉状的) tea was whisked (搅打) with water into soft “clouds”. White tea was often used to make the “clouds” as white as the moonlight. Tea artists used clean water to draw pictures on them with a teaspoon. The way of serving dian cha became a living art. It later influenced Japanese tea culture. Today, more young people are learning and passing it on.
Yunnan’s dark tea, especially Pu’er, got famous because of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, a historical trade (贸易) route. And it won popularity around the world. In 1976, Frenchman Fred Kempler found a new kind of Pu’er from Yunnan in a Hong Kong shop. In the same year, he visited Yunnan, bought nearly two tons, and began to sell “Yunnan Tuocha” in Europe. Since1986, Yunnan’s Pu’er tuocha has got many prizes at food expos (博览会) in France, America and other countries. Today you can see an old Australian lady holding a cup of tea of sun-dried Pu’er, though she still enjoys her English-style black tea with milk and sugar. Tea is a bridge of friendship among nations and peoples.
Tea is enjoyed timelessly from ancient to modern times. Each cup of dian cha, white as the moonlight, turned tea into art, and art into eternity (永恒) . Tea is also loved globally from the east to the west. Each cup of Pu’er, with the smell of sunshine, turns tea into friendship, and friendship into a shared future.
1.What kind of tea was often used for dian cha according to the passage?
A.Black tea. B.Green tea. C.Dark tea. D.White tea.
2.When did Fred Kempler begin to sell “Yunnan Tuocha” in Europe?
A.In 1986. B.In 1976. C.In 1279. D.In 960.
3.Which sentence uses “globally” with the same meaning as the underlined word?
globally /’gləʊbəli/ adv.
A.Globally, our class did well in the English test.
B.The Olympic Games bring people together globally.
C.The story is globally interesting though some parts are slow.
D.This math question needs you to consider the numbers globally.
4.What is the best title for the passage?
A.Art in a Tea Cup B.Tea Trade in China
C.More Than a Drink D.Journey of Yunnan Tea
1.第2段:“White tea was often used to make the ‘clouds’ as white as the moonlight.”
2.第3段:“In 1976, Frenchman Fred Kempler found a new kind of Pu’er... In the same year, he visited Yunnan, bought nearly two tons, and began to sell ‘Yunnan Tuocha’ in Europe.”
3.最后一段:“Tea is also loved globally from the east to the west.”
Everyone may feel angry at any time. It’s a common feeling. Some people cry when they feel angry and some may shout. Unluckily, many of us usually hide anger. A study suggests that this can have long-term bad influences on our health.
Is it better to cry or break things whenever something makes us angry? The study shows that when we show our anger in this way, maybe we can’t get on well with our friends or our family. The more time we keep being angry, the worse result we’ll get. So how can we deal with our feelings of anger in a right way?
First, know what anger is. Anger is often caused by feelings of being too afraid, disappointment (失望) and so on.
Also, care more about those everyday things that will make us angry. For example, we may get angry in a long line at the store. Take a step back and think that it isn’t personal. Everyone in the line has dinner to make, just like us. Then we’ll feel better. Another way of dealing with anger is to talk about it. The study has shown that if we name our feelings, we can slowly calm ourselves down.
Besides, take a deep breath or find a helpful exercise to do. Exercise helps deal with anger.
Remember that how we act when we are angry can make things better or worse. If we learn to deal with anger, we will be happier and healthier.
1.How does the writer lead into the topic in Paragraph 2?
A.By telling a story. B.By asking a question. C.By giving an example. D.By using an old saying.
2.Which picture can show the relationship between anger and time? (x= the time you stay angry, y=the bad influences it will have)
A. B. C. D.
3.Which can help deal with the feeling of anger according to the text?
a. Taking some exercise. b. Eating delicious food. c. Talking about anger. d. Taking a deep breath.
A.bcd B.abd C.acd D.abc
4.What is the most suitable structure of the text? (P= Paragraph)
A. B. C. D.
【答案】1.B 2.A 3.C 4.A
根据“Is it better to cry or break things whenever something makes us angry?”
根据“The more time we keep being angry, the worse result we’ll get.” 故选A。
根据“Besides, take a deep breath or find a helpful exercise to do. Exercise helps deal with anger.”以及“Another way of dealing with anger is to talk about it.”
故选A。
① Dog lovers agree that dogs are loyal (忠诚的) and loving pets. They greet their owners excitedly and offer comfort during difficult times. Cats, however, are often seen as more independent (独立的). They may seem to show attention mainly when they want food or play. There is a funny saying. It says, “Dogs have owners, cats have employees (雇员).” This makes us wonder who chooses to become “a cat’s employee”.
② There are stereotypes (刻板印象) about pet owners. “Cat people” are often thought to be more independent and a little unusual, while “dog people” are seen as friendly and easy to stay with in our minds. Psychologist Sam Gosling from the University of Texas studied these ideas. The researcher (研究人员) found that cat owners liked spending time alone better. They were often more curious and creative. Dog owners, on the other hand, were usually more outgoing, energetic, relaxed and loyal.
③ ▲ They found users who posted pictures of dogs had more online friends and shared more happy feelings, like being proud and excited. Cat owners were more likely to be single and sometimes shared feelings of being tired or sad. However, they also showed more intellectual (智力的) interests. They liked to search more pages about books, TV shows, movies and fantasy stories.
④ It’s important to remember that there are also exceptions—some cat owners are very outgoing, and some dog owners are worriers.
⑤ People probably choose pets that match their personalities (性格). It makes sense for a quiet person to choose a cat, and an active person to choose a dog. But the change might go both ways. The pet might also shape the owner’s life. As Gosling notes, a shy dog owner might not become the life of the party, but their daily walks could lead to more conversations with neighbors.
1.What does the underlined sentence “Dogs have owners, cats have employees.” mean?
A.Dogs and cats are both the most popular pets. B.Cats usually listen to their owners but dogs don’t.
C.Humans should work for both dogs and cats. D.Cats don’t depend on owners as much as dogs.
2.What did Sam Gosling find about cat owners?
A.They were more energetic in their daily life.
B.They were worried about almost all of the things.
C.They enjoyed staying alone and were more creative.
D.They liked staying with others and were more curious.
3.Which sentence is the most suitable for the blank “ ▲ ” in paragraph 3?
A.Many people like sharing pet photos on social media.
B.Dogs and cats are the most ordinary pets for people.
C.Researchers also used social media to study the subject.
D.Social media is popular among young people nowadays.
4.Which idea may the writer agree with?
A.Pets and their owners can change each other.
B.Pets can not change their owners’ lives at all.
C.Those stereotypes about pet owners are correct all the time.
D.Dog owners are too busy walking dogs to talk with neighbors.
【答案】1.D 2.C 3.C 4.A
根据“Cats, however, are often seen as more independent (独立的). They may seem to show attention mainly when they want food or play.”
根据“The researcher (研究人员) found that cat owners liked spending time alone better. They were often more curious and creative.”
根据“They found users who posted pictures of dogs had more online friends and shared more happy feelings, like being proud and excited.”
根据“But the change might go both ways. The pet might also shape the owner’s life.” 故选A。
Have you ever considered your school as a mini-neighborhood? In Boston, Massachusetts, about 60 children certainly have. Their school, in fact, is called Neighborhood School. Neighborhood School opened its doors in September 1986. Seven children and three part-time teachers quickly formed a community of learners. The school believed it was important for children to discover and value the differences between people. It welcomed children with different strengths and needs, and its staff members came from different backgrounds. They worked together to create a loving and cooperative (协作的) learning environment.

A new term begins, and you have many new books on your desk. How do you feel about learning all these new things? Let’s be honest: many of us are afraid of new things. 1 In a recent speech, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun shared some advice on how to take that first step.
When Lei Jun entered university in 1987, he felt “at sea” (困惑的). 2 Because many of them had met similar problems, they were able to offer helpful answers and guidance.
Lei’s second tip is to know when to “skip” and come back later. When he started studying computer science, he found his textbook very difficult at first. 3 He also read other related books. A few days later, when he went back to the early chapters (篇章), he found they had become much easier to learn.
This method can also help you in English reading. When you read an article, you will surely meet new words. 4 Just keep reading. After you finish the whole article, go back to that part. You will often find it’s easier to guess the meaning.
As you grow up, you will face many “hard” first steps. 5 Don’t be afraid or give up easily. One day, you will look back and find that many of your “hard” problems were just a piece of cake.
A.However, he didn’t stop but tried to read the later chapters first.
B.For example, you might not know the word “skip” in this passage.
C.Just as the old saying goes, "The first step is always the hardest".
D.Finally, he solved all the problems by working day and night.
E.So, don’t be afraid to ask your teachers, parents or friends for advice.
F.Instead of staying confused he asked some older students for help.
【答案】1.C 2.F 3.A 4.B 5.E
C“Just as the old saying goes, ‘The first step is always the hardest’.”
F“Instead of staying confused he asked some older students for help.”
A“However, he didn’t stop but tried to read the later chapters first.”
B“For example, you might not know the word "skip" in this passage.”
E“So, don’t be afraid to ask your teachers, parents or friends for advice.”
Think about how much time you spent outside last week. Really “outside”, like playing in a park or hiking in the woods. 1 How many hours did you enjoy nature, feeling the sun and the breeze?
Now think about how much time you spent indoors—on the Internet, playing video games or watching TV.
You may say, “I play inside more than outside and I like to play games on the computer.” 2 Children today spend two fewer hours per week on sports and outdoor activities than children did 20 years ago. That’s according to a University of Michigan study. “It will lead to overweight, greater stress, higher rates of health problems, and less joy…,” says Richard, an American writer.
So playing outside is important, even for adults. 3
Outdoor activity betters your senses. The next time you sit down to chat with your friends online, take note of your senses during and after chatting. 4 You will find that being outdoors brings the senses to life. Hiking, cycling, and fishing help improve all of your senses.
Spending time outdoors brings you closer to the environment. When you’re out, breathe in fresh air, search for cool birds and plants in the woods. 5 No woods nearby? Nature can be found right outside your back door or in your local park.
So the next time you sit down to spend quality time with a video game, consider treating yourself to a little outdoor play instead.
A.There are many amazing advantages of getting outdoors.
B.Walking from the car into the school doesn’t count.
C.Then do the same thing after you do something outside.
D.It can help you feel like you’re really part of the natural world.
E.Outdoor play helps you make friends.
F.If so, maybe you spent more time inside four walls than outside in fresh air.

In most places of the world, a five-day work week is common. But in some places, people are trying carrying out the idea of paying workers the same money for working just four days a week.
The idea isn’t new but businesses have been slow to try it. They may be worried about getting less work for their money. But the results of a last year’s test, run by the University of Cambridge, suggest the move may be good for both businesses and workers.
Last June, 61 UK companies agreed to try the four-day work week when paying their workers the same money. In return, they asked their workers to try to do as much in four days as they usually did in five. The test ran for six months, and turned out to be good for most businesses. During the test, some companies cut meetings, or made sure they were shorter. Others used technology to help workers get more done quickly. Some companies created a “focus time” so workers could work on just one thing without being interrupted (打扰). Therefore, workers worked faster and better. Besides, the companies made more money.
Most of the workers were satisfied (满意的) with the four-day work week. Some people said they were able to get more training and take care of things at home. Others said they were able to spend more time with their families.
At the end of the test, ninety-two percent of the companies involved (参与) said they planned to keep the four-day work week.
1.According to the results of a last year’s test, may the move be good for businesses or workers?
2.What does the underlined word “they” in Paragraph 3 refer to?
3.How long did the test run?
4.When the test was finished, how many companies involved planned to keep the four-day work week?
5.What do you think of the four-day work week?
1.Both/Both businesses and workers. 2.The meetings. 3.For six months. 4.Ninety-two percent/92%. 5.示例-: I think it’s good. Because I can have more time to relax.
I think it’s great. Because I can spend more time with my family.
I think it’s great. Because the workers can have more time to relax./Because the workers can spend more time with family.
I think it’s great. Because it helps businesses save money.
I think it’s great. Because the businesses can make more money.

3.第三段“The test ran for six months, and turned out to be good for most businesses”,该测试的持续时长为六个月,答案是文中信息,可直接提取。
4.最后一段“At the end of the test, ninety-two percent of the companies involved said they planned to keep the four-day work week”,测试结束后有92%的参与企业计划继续推行四天工作制,答案是文中信息,可直接提取。

When he got to school, Mrs Smith said “Hello” to him, and he just nodded. When his friends started to ask him what TV shows he watched last night, he just remained 9 . Almost everyone was looking at him as if he’d grown a third eye or an extra nose.
Annie 10 her hand and asked, “Mrs Smith, why isn’t Jake talking?”
“I’m sick. I can’t talk.” Jake tried to 11 , but no one could understand. He wrote it down instead.
Everyone started talking at once. They were excited, worried, and surprised. It seemed that Mrs Smith was actually happy. What a cruel woman!
Jake sat in class, bored because he couldn’t talk to his classmates. In 12 class he could hold up fingers if the answer was less than 10, but that wasn’t fun. He felt too bored and decided to try to pay attention.
You know what? It wasn’t that bad. He could 13 do his homework that night. It gave him extra TV time and game time 14 his work was all done.
The next day, even though his voice was coming back, he stayed quiet again. The third day, he could talk fine, 15 he didn’t waste time. He listened and raised his hand to speak.
What a difference that one day made!

Sometimes I’m really not sure whether there is love between my parents. They don’t act in the romantic ways that I read in books or I see on TV. In their opinion, “I love you” is too luxurious (奢侈的) for them to 1 . Sending flowers to each other on Valentine’s Day is even more impossible. And my father is easy to get angry.
One day, my mother was sewing a quilt (被子). I silently sat down beside her and looked at her.
“Is there love between you and Dad?” I asked her in a very low 2 .
My mother stopped her work and raised her head with 3 in her eyes. She didn’t answer immediately.
I was very worried 4 I thought I had hurt her. But at last I heard my mother say the following words.
“Lily,” she said, “Look at this thread (线). Sometimes it appears (出现), but most of it disappears in the quilt. The thread really makes the quilt strong and durable (耐用的). If life is a quilt, then love should be a 5 . It can hardly be seen anywhere or anytime, but it’s really there. Love is 6 .”
I listened carefully but I couldn’t understand her until the next spring. At that time, my father suddenly got sick seriously. My mother had to stay with him in the hospital for a month. When they returned from the hospital, 7 of them looked very pale (苍白的).
After they were back, every day in the morning and evening, my mother helped my father 8 slowly on the country road. My father had never been so gentle. It seemed that it was their most harmonious period. The sun gently shone among the leaves. All of these made up the most beautiful 9 in the world.
The doctor had said my father would get well in two months. 10 after two months he still couldn’t walk by himself. All of us 11 him.
“Dad, how are you feeling now?” I asked him one day.
“Lily, don’t worry about me,” he said gently with a smile on his face. “To tell you the truth, I just like walking with your mum.” Reading his 12 , I know he loves my mother deeply.
Once I thought love meant flowers, gifts and sweet kisses. But from this experience, I understand that love means a lot. It’s about the simple things they do for each other every day. It’s about the way they support each other 13 difficult times. It’s about the way they take care of our family. I realize that love doesn’t have to be flashy or romantic to be real. Sometimes, the most meaningful love is found in the 14 acts of kindness. It’s just like a thread in the quilt of our life. Love is inside, making life 15 and warm.

The Marionette, as soon as his hunger was comforted, started to complain and cry that he wanted a new pair of feet.
But Mastro Geppetto, in order to punish him for his mischief (淘气), let him alone the whole morning. After dinner, he said to him: “Why should I make your feet over again? To see you run away from home once more?”
“I promise (保证) you,” answered the Marionette “that from now on I’ll be good.”
“Boys always promise that when they want something,” said Geppetto. “I promise to go to school every day, to study, and to succeed.”
“Boys always sing that song when they want their own will.”

In “Reading Buddies” activities, they help Level-1 kids to read and to learn new words. At the Year-End Musical Play, they take the lead while helping the teachers to make sure that every child at the school gets a chance to shine at the event.
The teachers at Neighborhood School teach more than just new knowledge and skills to their students. They never simply provide the kids with a solution; rather they help them come up with one.
