Have you ever heard of minimalism It is the practice of making life 1 by decluttering (清理) and letting go, trying to make life easier and happier. For example, minimalists 2 things they don’t need and focus on building strong friendships instead of having too many friends they don’t care much about.
With the increasing 3 of minimalism, many people share their minimalistic habits online. “It helps me 4 why I care so much about material things instead of myself,” shared one person.
While minimalism has its 5 , I believe it also has some problems. Minimalists often try to 6 every part of their lives, which can lead to worrying too much and chasing perfection.
“To avoid buying things I don’t need, I spend too much time looking at the good and bad sides instead of just 7 .” one person shared online. “I’ve done this before. It’s a 8 of time.”
The 9 to make every part of life perfect can make people feel nervous and stressed. When they can’t 10 this idea, they may feel upset.
Some young people even take minimalism too far. 11 cutting additional spending, they might cut back on social activities and spend less time with others. Without a strong support system, people may feel 12 and miss out on help when facing challenges. This can prevent them from trying new things or dreaming big, hurting their 13 and excitement for life in the process.
In short, while minimalism encourages people to live more 14 , taking it too far can make life feel less rich. Young people should try to find a 15 ground, living simply while staying active and connected.

catch up with“追上(人)”、meet up with“碰面”、come up with“想出”,均不匹配语境。
根据前文“cutting additional spending”及后文“they might cut back on social activities”可知,此处表示“除了……还”,应用Besides。Without“没有”,As for“至于”,Rather than“而不是”,均不符合递进补充的逻辑。

Some people are very forgetful, while others can remember everything they have done. Scientists know a lot about how our brains store and remember facts and experiences. 31 , which is equally necessary for normal brain activity.
A new study focuses on the process of forgetting. A team of researchers from the US studied the brain’s process of forgetting things. The researchers are cognitive neuroscientists On the one hand, cognitive neuroscientists’ work may help people who have memory problems. 33 . The lead scientist Marie Banich said, “It may sound surprising that people can control what and how they forget.”
34 . She also said it could keep the brain working smoothly. Her research found ways for people to remove information from their brain. She said, “ 35 .” Removing information is important because it means we can focus on more important tasks. Too many useless memories take up brain space and slow down our thinking speed. However, although we can control what and how we forget, the act of forgetting needs a lot of effort. Another researcher, Sara Festini, agreed. She said, “We’ve found that intentionally (有意地) forgetting no-longer-relevant information from the mind is beneficial, but it doesn’t happen automatically (自动地).”

Have you noticed that something around us is changing with the development of society (社会)?
People used to go to stores to buy what they want. As society develops rapidly, we begin to shop online. However, in recent years, group buying has become very popular. Several online buyers work together and buy a kind of product for a much lower price per person. The activity takes place mainly on Internet platforms (平台).
