写作
Good morning, everyone!
I’m Li Hua. Today I’m going to share how to learn English well.
First, I highly suggested attending the English Corner. Learning with fellow students and teachers can help you avoid common mistakes. Besides, reading English books, magazines, or watching English movies is also a useful way to improve your listening skills.
Another fun method is learning English songs. Not only does this make the learning process more enjoyable, but it also helps you memorize vocabulary in context.
Last but not least, you are advised to make friends with native English speakers on the Internet, for you can learn western culture from them, which is important for your English learning.
That’s all. Thank you!

1.【原文】W: Dennis, can you turn off the light when you leave home, please? The price of electricity has been crazy recently. We’re saving for our family trip.
M: Sorry, mom. I just forgot. I’ll keep it in mind next time.
2. 【原文】W: I signed up for a new course at a university on the other side of the country.
M: But you’re still in high school. How can you attend a university course?
W: It’ll be over online video conferences. I’ll take this course from home.
3. 【原文】M: Where did you get those cool shoes? I want to buy one pair for my aunt.
W: My sister gave them to me. She has great taste in clothes. And she gives me all her old things. I seldom go to the department store.
4. 【原文】M: Mom, Mr. white told us that a snake can lose its skin up to 6 times a year. Is that true?
W: Kevin, why not call Uncle James and ask? He has a pet snake.
5. 【原文】W: It must be 30 years since we saw each other.
M: Yes. Do you remember how we used to spend all day climbing trees and playing football?
W: Yes. My husband and my son laughed when I told them that.
6.【原文】M: For today’s class, I want you to limit yourself to one main color.
W: Do you mean we can only paint in one color?
M: No, you can use different shades, but try and keep the focus of your work on one color.
W: Which color should we choose?
M: It is entirely up to you. If you want to paint a sunset, you should use red or orange.
W: I’ll use blue as I want to paint the sea.
M: Very good. When choosing your color, also think what it means in a wider context in society.
W: You mean like green means “go” or “safe”.
M: Exactly! But some cultures have different meanings for different colors. So keep that in mind.
W: I will, thanks.
7.【原文】W: Gary, can you help me?
M: Certainly. Emma, what’s the problem?
W: I can’t get into my computer. I typed my password in, but nothing happened.
M: Your brother knows a lot about computers, doesn’t he? Have you asked him about it?
W: I called Andy, but he said he would study late in the library today.
M: I’m not good with computers. If I try to fix it, I’ll probably make it worse.
W: So what can I do now? I have important work to do.
M: Well, let’s try to reach the engineers in the computer lab. I guess this password problem is just a piece of cake for them.
W: But is the lab open?
M: The lab is just one block away. Come on, let’s go and check.
8.【原文】W: Hi, I’d like to buy this dress, please. Here is my membership card.
M: Thank you. This one with the gold mark is£20. Oh, before you buy it, may I interest you in today’s special deal?
W: Sure.
M: The deal is if you buy 3 pieces of clothing with the same gold mark, you’ll get 50% off the total price.
W: So, I could buy three different dresses and get them all for half price.
M: Yes, for any other kind of clothes like shirts, trousers or jackets except for the new arrivals.
W: What about shoes?
M: Sure. As long as they have the gold mark on them.
W: Cool, I’ll have that pair of shoes in size seven, please. I’ll also have this blue dress along with the original dress.
M: Excellent. So with a discount that will be£40 in total.
W: There you go.
M: Thank you. Have a good day.
9.【原.文】W: Sorry, Peter. I can’t go on a trip with you this weekend. It’s my mother’s birthday. She has made plans with our entire family for the weekend.
M: No worries, Cindy. I just finished a big work project, so I thought I’d take a short trip. That sounds fun though. What will you and your family do?
W: We’ll go around the city. We have so much fun together from playing games to riding bicycles around town, but my absolute favorite activity is cooking food with my grandmother. We always prepare large lunches for the family.
M: That sounds like such a fun weekend.
W: Definitely, where will you go?
M: Either to the beach or to the mountains. My brother’s wife is away. So, I’ll travel and spend the weekend with him, but he is such a beach person. So we’re very likely to spend our days surfing and swimming in the sea.
W: Sounds lovely.
10.【原文】W: Sultan Kösen, born on December10th, 1982, is a Turkish farmer who became the Guinness World Record for the tallest living male at 246.5 centimeters in 2009. Kösen’s growth was caused by medical conditions. And because of these, he needs help to walk, let alone help his family with farm work. Also, Kösen was unable to complete his education because of his height. He described the advantages of being tall as being able to see a great distance and help his family with tasks such as changing light bulbs. And he listed disadvantages as not being able to find clothes or shoes that fit as well as fitting into an average sized car.
But these difficulties were solved after he became famous because some companies generously promised to provide lifelong service for him. In 2013, Kösen married a Syrian woman named Merv Debo. In an interview, he said that his biggest problem with his wife was communication as he speaks Turkish, but his wife speaks Arabic.
On Guinness World Records day in 2015, Kösen met for the first time the world’s shortest man Ever Chandra Behoder Donkey, who is 54.6 centimeters tall at an event in London.

B篇 24.B 25.A 26.B 27.B
【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了作者学习西班牙语的故事。
【详解】24.细节理解题。由第二段“It all started when I visited my cousin in Spain, Watching her continuously communicate with locals in their native language, I was filled with envy (羡慕、嫉妒).(这一切都始于我去西班牙看望我的表妹,看着她毫不费力地用当地人的母语与他们交流,我充满了羡慕。)”可知,作者决定学习西班牙语是受到了表妹的语言能力的激励。故选B。
25.细节理解题。由第三段“I downloaded language-learning apps, bought textbooks, and even signed up for private classes.(我下载了语言学习应用程序,买了教科书,甚至报名参加了私人课程。)”和第四段“I spent hours listening to Spanish music and watching Spanish language movies. I role-played with my teacher, speaking aloud and making mistakes.(我花了几个小时听西班牙音乐,看西班牙语电影。我和老师一起扮演角色,大声说话,犯错误。)”可知,作者通过参与各种各样的活动来学习西班牙语。故选A。
26.推理判断题。根据第四段“I spent hours listening to Spanish music and watching Spanish language movies. I role-played with my teacher, speaking aloud and making mistakes. These learning experiences sharpened my Spanish skills. Gradually, the language started to feel more natural.(我花几小时听西班牙语音乐、看西班牙电影。我和老师一起扮演角色,大声说话,犯错误。这些学习经历使我的西班牙语技能得到了很大提升。逐渐地,这门语言对我来说变得越来越自然了)”可知,作者面对困难没有妥协,而是迎难而上、做出努力和改变。正是这些艰难的学习经历使得作者的西班牙与技能得到了很大提升。故选B。
27.推理判断题。根据第三段“I did what any determined teenager would do(我做了每个坚定的人都会做的事)”和倒数第二段“But I refused to give up.(但我拒绝放弃)”可知,作者是有决心的,而且做了那么多的努力来学西班牙语,说明作者是勤奋的,因此可以用determined和hard working来描述作者,故选B。
C篇 28. B 29. B 30. C 31. A
根据第二段“The events are organized by Project Reboot, a student-led movement focused on helping young people build healthier relationships with technology. The group is careful to point out that it is not anti-technology. Instead, its goal is to help students take back control of their attention and use technology with purposes rather than letting it control them.(这些活动由“重启计划”组织,这是一项由学生发起的活动,旨在帮助年轻人与科技建立更健康的相处模式。该组织特意表明自己并非反对科技,其目标是帮助学生夺回自身注意力的掌控权,有目的地使用科技,而非被科技支配。)”可知,该项目的核心目标是倡导健康使用电子产品。
33.细节理解题。根据第三段““It sucks (糟透了) that on a regular basis I am having to fight with my phone and I feel like I am losing control over my life,” student Dawson Kelly said.(学生道森・凯利表示:“我总是要和手机较劲,感觉自己失去了对生活的掌控,这实在太糟糕了。”)”可知,道森这类学生心情糟糕是因为电子产品使用习惯支配了他们的日常生活。
34.推理判断题。根据第四段“Without screens competing for attention, conversations become more meaningful and people feel more present with one another. Many students involved in the movement say they worry their generation is losing the ability to truly connect face-to-face.(没有电子屏幕抢夺注意力,交谈变得更有意义,人们能更专注地陪伴彼此。参与这项活动的许多学生担心他们这代人正在丧失真正面对面交流的能力。)”可知,无手机活动旨在改善人们面对面的真实沟通。
35. 词义猜测题。 intentional 在文中修饰 habit changes(习惯改变)。 文章主旨:该社团倡导学生主动放下手机、刻意改变沉迷手机的坏习惯,而非无意识、随意的改变。 intentional 本义为:有意的、刻意的、主动的。

I was a high school student. I had always been attracted by the idea of learning a new language, but I had never truly understood the challenges involved. That was until one day, when I decided to take the risk and learn Spanish.
It all started when I visited my cousin in Spain, Watching her continuously communicate with locals in their native language, I was filled with envy (羡慕、嫉妒). Although I can speak English and a little French, I was still missing an important tool: a deep understanding of another major language.
So, I start to learn Spanish. I downloaded language-learning apps, bought textbooks, and even signed up for private classes. Actually, it was not easy. The grammar rules were different, the vocabulary unfamiliar, and the pronunciation challenging.
But I refused to give up. I spent hours listening to Spanish music and watching Spanish language movies. I role-played with my teacher, speaking aloud and making mistakes. These learning experiences sharpened my Spanish skills. Gradually, the language started to feel more natural. Months passing, my Spanish improved. I felt confident enough to try speaking it in real-life situations. The first time I ordered a meal in Spanish in a restaurant, I felt like an explorer conquering(征服) a new land.
24.Why did the author decide to learn Spanish?
A.She wanted to learn Spanish culture.
B.She was encouraged by the cousin’s language skills.
C.She accepted her cousin’s suggestion.

C.She ask for help from native speakers. D.She used her teacher’s study methods.
26.Why did the author talk about his learning experiences in paragraph 4?
A.To show that learning Spanish is extremely difficult.
B.To express the relationship between her hard work and the resulting improvement.
C.To tell us the importance of learning Spanish.
D.To suggest that these are the only ways to learn English.
27.Which words can best describe the author?
A.Positive and helpful. B.Curious and hard-working.
C.Intelligent and kind. D.Generous and easy-going.
C
Many English learners feel confused when they meet compound words like pineapple in their daily English study. Judging from its two separate parts, students might naturally figure that this common tropical fruit has something to do with pine trees and apples. However, surprisingly, neither pine nor apple is related to the real meaning of pineapple at all. This typical and vivid example tells us that we cannot judge a compound word’s real meaning only from its separate parts, as many compound words have misleading literal meanings that easily lead learners to misunderstand the words.
Compounding is a major and common word-formation method in English. A large number of daily words such as blackboard, football and homesick are formed by putting two independent words together. Nevertheless, their real meanings are not always the simple combination of the two original parts. Another essential word-formation method is derivation. People create countless new words by adding different prefixes or suffixes to existing basic words, which greatly enriches the whole English vocabulary system and makes word creation more flexible.
When we come across unfamiliar compound or derived words in reading comprehension, we must not jump to conclusions blindly. It is definitely wise to try to work out their exact meanings from the context first. The sentences and logical relationships in the passage can always provide reliable clues for understanding new words. If the context cannot help us get accurate meanings, we can turn to dictionaries for further help.
Mastering basic word-formation rules helps us better understand, analyze and memorize English vocabulary,
and greatly improves our overall reading competence in long-term English learning.
28.Why does the writer take “pineapple” as an example?
A. To introduce different kinds of fruits in English
B. To show some compound words have misleading literal parts
C. To compare compounding and derivation in history
D. To teach quick ways to memorize fruit‑related words
29.Which statement about compounding is TRUE according to the text?
A. All compound words equal the simple meaning of their two parts
B. Blackboard is a word formed by compounding
C. Compounding adds prefixes to create new words
D. Pineapple gets its real meaning from pine and apple
30.What advice does the text give for dealing with new words?
A. Guess meanings only from separate word parts
B. Look up every new word in the dictionary at once
C. Try figuring out meanings from context first
D. Stop reading immediately when you see new words
31.What is the main idea of the passage?
A. Two word‑formation methods and reading suggestions
B. The long history of English fruit‑related vocabulary
C. Practical skills to memorize all compound words
D. Differences between compound words and informal English
D
At a time when endless scrolling (刷屏) and constant notifications (通知) fill daily life, a group of college students at University of California is trying something refreshingly simple: putting their phones away and reconnecting with the real world. Students on campus have started hosting “no-phone parties,” gatherings where participants leave their devices behind and focus instead on conversation, creativity, and real human relationship.
The events are organized by Project Reboot, a student-led movement focused on helping young people build healthier relationships with technology. The group is careful to point out that it is not anti-technology. Instead, its goal is to help students take back control of their attention and use technology with purposes rather than letting it control them. “Technology is neither good nor bad,” the organization explains. “While it has the power to addict and depress, it also has the potential to inform and inspire.”
According to a survey of UC Berkeley undergraduates, 78% of students said their phone use prevents them from “thinking deeply or being creative.” “It sucks (糟透了) that on a regular basis I am having to fight with my phone and I feel like I am losing control over my life,” student Dawson Kelly said. That feeling is shared among those students who attend the no-phone gatherings.
Without screens competing for attention, conversations become more meaningful and people feel more present with one another. Many students involved in the movement say they worry their generation is losing the ability to truly connect face-to-face. Through small but intentional habit changes, Project Reboot hopes students can strengthen qualities like carefulness and creativity while spending less time trapped in endless scrolling.
And the students behind the movement hope their idea spreads far beyond the Berkeley campus. In a world filled with distractions (分心的事物), they believe putting down a phone for a few hours might be one of the most powerful ways to reconnect with yourself and the people around you.
32.What is the main goal of Project Reboot according to Para. 2?
A.To ban technological devices.
B.To prove technology is harmful.
C.To promote healthy digital use.
D.To organize campus entertainment.
33.Why do students like Dawson feel bad?
A.They lack access to modern digital tools.
B.Their digital habits control their daily lives.
C.They fail to complete academic surveys.
D.Their screen time harms their physical health.
34.What is the no-phone movement intended to do?
A.To reduce the students’ face-to-face arguments.
B.To make students’ academic grades better.
C.To make traditional campus parties more popular.
D.To improve real face-to-face communication.
35.What does the underlined word “intentional” probably mean?
A. random B. purposeful C. passive D. complex
第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
“I’m sorry” are two very important words that play a big part in daily life. You might apologize(道歉) while squeezing through a crowd or using the last of the printer paper at work. It’s easy to say “I’m sorry”, but true apologies are a different story. 36 Or you may wonder how to properly demand an apology if the other person is at fault. With the following tips, you’ll find these are not hard.
Apologize sincerely. A true apology can help repair your relationship and even your reputation—you’re showing that you can be trusted to do what’s right. But your relationship will remain bad if your apology seems casual. 37
Apply specific principles. A meaningful apology comes down to the three R’s—regret, responsibility and remedy(补救办法). Firstly, communicate your regret. Show the other person you have recognized your error and can relate to his/her pain. Then take complete responsibility. 38 Lastly, show that you’re working to improve the situation. Offer to make up for the harm you caused or promise you wouldn’t repeat it again.
39 If you’re the offended(冒犯) side, describe what’s changed in the relationship and your true feeling. For example, you could say, “Although there’s a disagreement between you and me, I want us to be friends again. But I’ve been hurt, and I’d like an apology. I need you to know what you’ve done.”
Don’t expect immediate forgiveness. Most people hope for immediate forgiveness while apologizing, but that may mean you don’t respect the others’ emotions and all you care about is yourself. 40 After all, they were hurt and it would take them a while to recover.
A. Ask for an apology if necessary.
B. Don’t make excuses or blame him/her.
C. Say sorry first if both parties are at fault.
D. So you have to be truly willing to apologize.
E. You should make sure your words are acceptable.
F. So give them some time to come out of the pain after your apology.
G. You may have trouble finding the right way to send meaningful apologies.
