The Feynman Technique (费曼学习法) was created by a famous physicist named Richard Feynman. It is a way of studying that helps students learn by teaching someone else.
This method has helped many students over the years. It helps students truly understand a topic, not just remember facts. Unlike simply reading textbooks, it makes people take an active part in learning.
If you want to try the Feynman Technique, here’s how to do it:
First, choose one topic you want to learn. It’s better to focus on one thing at a time. If you try to learn too many things, you may not understand any of them well.
Second, try to explain the topic in simple words, as if (好像) you were teaching a primary school student. Use easy language and examples. This step helps you break down big ideas into small parts.
Third, look back at your explanation (解释). See if there is any part that is still difficult or unclear. It can be useful to ask a friend or family member to listen and tell you what they don’t understand.
Fourth, improve your explanation based on what you found in Step 3. Make everything as clear as possible.
Finally, repeat all the steps: Doing it once is often not enough. The more you repeat, the better you will understand.
When you feel you’ve learned the topic well, don’t forget to reward yourself. You can eat something you like, listen to your favorite music, or just relax!

When I was very young, people in our village made a living by planting fruit trees. My grandmother always took me to the orchard (果园) on the hill. At that time, they had to carry water from the river at the foot of the hill. Even though we worked so hard, the production level of fruit was still low because it was short of water there.
One day, two young men led a group of workers to our village. They learned about the difficulties we faced, and later, they began to build canals (灌溉渠) and other projects in my village. “Who are they?” I asked. “They are good men from our government,” my grandmother replied.
Later, I moved to another city for my junior high school. One day, my family and I made time to return. We were surprised because everything had changed. The canal ran past every orchard so villagers didn’t have to go up and down the hill anymore. The river was so clean that fish swam happily in it. When we arrived home, my grandmother took out some fresh pears and apples. She told us that after the water conservation project (水利工程) was over, a policy (政策) appeared to encourage more people to increase the fruit production (产量) with clean water in the river.
Thanks to those good men who have devoted (奉献) themselves to the development of our countryside. Now, people work hard to live in a big city. However, we should not forget our hometowns where we are from.

A. The grandmother doesn’t like to live in the city.

D. More people like to work in the countryside nowadays
39. What do you think of the villagers’ life now?

Have you ever wondered what school was like for your parents or grandparents? The classroom has changed a lot over the years.
In the 1980s, schools in China were quite simple. Most classrooms only had blackboards, wooden desks, and chalk. Teachers used textbooks and taught mainly through their words. Students took notes by hand. There were no computers or smart whiteboards. Libraries were small and had only a few kinds of books. Physical education classes were held on dirt playgrounds.
Today, schools are very different. Most classrooms have smart whiteboards that connect to computers. Students can search the Internet to do homework and watch educational videos. There are science labs and large libraries with digital resources. Many schools have indoor sports centers and swimming pools.
The way students learn has also changed. In the past, students mostly listened to teachers and memorized facts. Now, they are encouraged to work in groups, ask questions, and do projects. They learn not only from textbooks but also from the Internet and real-life experiences.
Technology has made learning more interesting and efficient. However, some people worry that students spend too much time on screens. They believe that traditional skills—like handwriting and face-to-face communication are still important. As education continues to develop, schools are trying to find a balance between technology and traditional teaching methods.
根据短文内容, 判断句子正 (T) 、误 (F) 。

43. In the past, students mostly worked in groups, asked questions, and did projects.
44. Not all people agree that technology is completely good for students.
