B It was an overheating summer afternoon when Eden first stepped into the abandoned lot on the edge of our neighborhood. Overgrown with weeds and littered with broken glass, the space had become a symbol of desertion. But to Eden, a seventeen‑year‑old with rough‑skinned hands and a determined smile, it was a blank painting sheet waiting to be transformed. Eden’s journey began with a simple idea. After noticing that children had no safe place to play, he said he wanted to turn the lot into a community garden. His classmates laughed when he showed them his drafts of raised beds and a small pond, calling it “a waste of time”. Regardless of this, he spent weekends clearing wastes, his arms injured by sharp glass and stones. Neighbors watched in disbelief as this young boy, who barely stood taller than the weeds, worked tirelessly under the hot sun. Week after week, Eden returned. He taught himself gardening through online classes, often staying up late to study soil composition. When the first seeds grew up, the entire community gathered in amazement. Children brought watering cans, elderly residents shared gardening tips, and local businesses donated materials. What started as one boy’s dream became a collective effort. Three years later, the lot is unrecognizable. Colorful flowers bloom where once stood piles of garbage, and children laugh as they run after butterflies around the pond. Eden, now a college student, still visits every weekend to maintain the garden. He has inspired other youth in our town to start their own projects — cleaning up rivers, organizing book drives, and teaching seniors to use smartphones. The community garden is more than just plants and soil; it’s a witness to what can happen when one person refuses to accept the situation before his eyes. Eden showed us that change doesn’t require grand gestures or vast resources. It begins with a single act of courage, a willingness to take the first step, and the belief that even the smallest hands can build something beautiful. 24.What was Eden’s classmates’ initial reaction to his plan for the garden? A.They approved of his practice. B.They considered it meaningless. C.They suggested a different location. D.They thought it unsafe to change the lot. 25.What can we learn from paragraph 4? A.Eden is working full‑time to keep the garden tidy. B.The garbage site has become a famous tourist attraction. C.Eden has made a widespread difference in his hometown. D.Senior citizens are taught to use smartphones by Eden himself. 26.Which of the following words can best describe Eden? A.Humorous and generous. B.Determined and persistent. C.Cautious and thoughtful. D.Modest and imaginative. 27.What can be inferred from the story of Eden? A.Gardening is a valuable skill for everyone to learn. B.Community gardens can improve the environment. C.Young people are encouraged to build cultural confidence. D.Personal courage and initiative can lead to collective change. C In Hawaii, researchers have come up with an innovative method for putting the islands’ plastic pollution to work, covering roads with asphalt (沥青) mixed with plastic waste and old fishing nets. The project is designed to solve the islands’ unique exposure to old fishing equipment, tourist waste, and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. One key question is whether wear and tear on that pavement might release microplastics into the environment. Initial results show that the asphalt is largely intact. “We’re extremely concerned about this issue,” says chemist Jennifer Lynch, since the promising short-term performance of the asphalt does not guarantee absolute safety in the long run. She heads the Centre for Marine Debris Research at Hawaii Pacific University. The centre runs the Nets-to-Roads programme in which marine biologists collect and sort marine trash and plastic gathered from beaches, picking out waste made with a durable plastic called polyethylene found in milk containers and fishing nets. The waste and nets are ground (碾碎) and then mixed with other ingredients to make asphalt. The hot mix is loaded onto trucks and used to pave roads. In the first stage of the research, three experimental pavement strips were laid: a section with traditional asphalt and a kind of rubber called styrene-butadiene-styrene; another with the ground marine waste and the rubber; a third with the waste and asphalt without the rubber. Eleven months later, researchers collected road samples and ran some tests. The team used a variety of methods to simulate how microplastics would normally be released into the ecosystem. There wasn’t significant microplastic release compared with the strip of road with no plastic mixed into the asphalt, said Jeremy Axworthy, a marine biologist who worked on the programme. Bill Buttlar, director of the Mizzou Asphalt Pavement and Innovation Lab at the University of Missouri in Columbia, says he’s impressed with the programme but notes that the challenges with road performance in Hawaii are different from those in other places. “The main challenge of scaling this up is getting the recipe right,” Buttlar says. 28.What does the underlined word “intact” in paragraph 2 most probably mean? A.Fragile. B.Unlimited. C.Degraded. D.Unchanged. 29.Why are the three experimental pavement strips mentioned in paragraph 4? A.To show how the research is carried out. B.To compare various rubber materials for pavement. C.To introduce different types of road-building materials. D.To prove marine plastic waste should replace traditional asphalt. 30.What is Bill Buttlar’s attitude towards the programme? A.Reserved but neutral. B.Positive but cautious. C.Confident and supportive. D.Skeptical and dismissive. 31.Which of the following is the best title for the text? A.Tackle Ocean Pollution Across the Globe B.Turn Ocean Plastic Waste Into Roads C.Test New Kinds of Eco-Friendly Rubber D.Release Microplastics into the Ecosystem D In the days before the Internet, critical (批判的) thinking was the most important skill of informed citizens. But in the digital age, according to Anastasia Kozyreva, a psychologist at the Max Planck Institute of Human Development, and her colleagues, an even more important skill is critical ignoring. As the researchers point out, we live in an attention economy where content producers on the Internet compete for our attention. They attract us with a lot of emotional and eye-catching stories while providing little useful information, so they can expose us to profit-generating advertisements. Therefore,we are no longer customers but products, and each link we click is a sale of our time and attention. To protect ourselves from this, Kozyreva advocates for learning the skill of critical ignoring, in which readers intentionally control their information environment to reduce exposure to false and low-quality information. According to Kozyreva, critical ignoring is made up of three strategies. The first is to design our environments, which involves the removal of low-quality yet hard-to-resist information from around. Successful dieters need to keep unhealthy food out of their homes. Likewise, we need to set up a digital environment where attention-grabbing items are kept out of sight. As with dieting, if one tries to bank on willpower not to click eye-catching “news”, he’ll surely fail. So, it’s better to just keep them out of sight to begin with. The next is to evaluate the reliability (可靠性) of information, whose purpose is to protect you from false and misleading information. It can be realized by checking the source in the mainstream (主流) news agencies which have their reputations (名声) for being trustworthy. The last goes by the phrase “do not feed the trolls.” Trolls are actors who intentionally spread false and hurtful information online to cause harm. It may be appealing to respond to them to set the facts straight, but trolls just care about annoying others rather than facts. So, it’s best not to reward their bad behaviour with our attention. By sharpening our critical ignoring skills in these ways, we can make the most of the Internet while avoiding falling victim to those who try to control our attention, time, and minds. 32.What can we learn about the attention economy from paragraph 2? A.It offers little information. B.It stresses depressing stories. C.It saves time for Internet users. D.It seeks profits from each click. 33.Why does the author mention dieters in paragraph 3? A.To discuss the quality of information. B.To prove the benefits of healthy food. C.To show the importance of environments. D.To explain the effectiveness of willpower. 34.What should we do to deal with Internet trolls according to the text? A.Uncover their intention. B.Turn a deaf ear to them. C.Correct their behaviour. D.Send hard facts to them. 35.What is the text mainly about? A.Reasons for critical thinking in the attention economy. B.Enlarging the benefits of critical ignoring on the Internet C.Practising the skill of critical ignoring in the digital age. D.Ways of giving up critical thinking for Internet users. “No pain, no gain” is a widely popular saying in fitness. Many people believe that intense workouts and physical pain are necessary to get stronger and fitter. They tend to push their bodies to the limit through heavy weightlifting or endless repetitive movements to achieve ideal fitness results. 36 . The research suggests that people can improve their physical strength and health without exhausting and painful training. The key lies in “eccentric (离心的) exercises”. 37 . There are many common eccentric exercises in daily life. They include slowly bending and straightening the knees, walking downstairs, or gently lowering a heavy object. Though these movements feel much easier than intense training, they are surprisingly effective. Studies show that muscles can produce greater force during eccentric exercises. 38 . This allows people to build steady strength without feeling overly tired. It is normal to have mild muscle soreness if you are new to such exercises, but serious pain is never a must for fitness progress. Besides, eccentric exercises bring more practical benefits. 39 . Simple home moves like chair squats (深蹲) and wall push-ups work perfectly. Even a few minutes of daily practice can lead to obvious health improvements over time. 40 . Easy and manageable workouts are far more sustainable. People are more willing to stick with simple exercises long-term. In fact, consistent daily training, rather than occasional painful workouts, is the real secret to long-term physical health and fitness improvement. Therefore, forget the old saying and start with small, easy steps. A.Fitness does not depend on intensity or pain B.They require no gym space or professional equipment C.Eccentric exercises need professional tools to finish well D.Many people give up fitness because of expensive gym fees E.They focus on slow and controlled movements that stretch muscles while they work F.Meanwhile, these exercises consume less energy than traditional demanding workouts G.However, new research from Edith Cowan University challenges this traditional belief 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 Alexander Clark, a former IT professional, found a new career after retirement. It’s his storytelling voice that I remember — a voice that dropped a note or two but still managed to rise above the murmuring noise of the fans that blew away the hot air in the room. Growing up, I was always known as the kid with the fun father, the tall dad with the deep voice and funny African accent. It was my father who brought my best friend, Chris, and me to car shows, who took us to basketball games, coached our soccer team and, on occasion, took us fishing. In my father’s mind, where I was going came first above all else. For him, the purpose of the present was to point the way to what lay next, so he and mom had sacrificed everything to come to this country only hoping to bring me to where I was now. But when I entered high school things began to change between my father and me. I suddenly became known as the kid with the mean father: the father who rushed into high school parties, stopping the flow of alcohol in order to pull his son out and take him home. “Not while I’m around,” he always said every time I crossed the line. “Not while I’m here.” In the middle of freshman year, Chris’ father abandoned him and his mother. Just then both Chris and I suddenly became bent on chasing being “cool”, meaning skipping classes and staying out late. Night after night, my father would drive out to bring us home, saying, “Not while I’m here.” One day Chris and I were dragged into the principal’s office for skipping classes. My father didn’t say a word on the way out, only the anger visible on his face though — the first real anger I had ever seen. Para.1: On the drive home, my father pulled the car over, turned to me, and let the anger out. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Para.2: After my father drove around the deserted streets all night, we finally found Chris. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第11页(共12页) 试题 第12页(共12页) 试题 第9页(共12页) 试题 第10页(共12页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $: : 2026-2027学年高二上学期期中模拟卷(人教版) 英语 (考试时间:120分钟试卷满分:150分) 考生注意: : 1. 1.How does the man usually go to work? C In Hawaii, researchers have come up with an innovative method for putting the islands'plastic pollution to work, covering roads with asphalt (mixed with plastic waste and old fishing nets. The project is designed to solve the islands'unique exposure to old fishing equipment, tourist waste, and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. One key question is whether wear and tear on that pavement might release microplastics into the environment.Initial results show that the asphalt is largely intact."We're extremely concerned about this issue," says chemist Jennifer Lynch, since the promising short-term performance of the asphalt does not guarantee absolute safety in the long run.She heads the Centre for Marine Debris Research at Hawaii Pacific University The centre runs the Nets-to-Roads programme in which marine biologists collect and sort marine trash and plastic gathered from beaches, picking out waste made with a durable plastic called polyethylene found in milk containers and fishing nets. The waste and nets are ground (and then mixed with other ingredients to make asphalt. The hot mix is loaded onto trucks and used to pave roads. In the first stage of the research, three experimental pavement strips were laid:a section with traditional asphalt and a kind of rubber called styrene-butadiene-styrene;another with the ground marine waste and the rubber;a third with the waste and asphalt without the rubber. Eleven months later, researchers collected road samples and ran some tests. The team used a variety of methods to simulate how microplastics would normally be released into the ecosystem. There wasn't significant microplastic release compared with the strip of road with no plastic mixed into the asphalt, said Jeremy Axworthy, a marine biologist who worked on the programme Bill Buttlar, director of the Mizzou asphalt Pavement and Innovation Lab at the University of Missouri in Columbia, says he's impressed with the programme but notes that the challenges with road performance in Hawaii are different from those in other places."The main challenge of scaling this up is getting the recipe right,"Buttlar says. 28.What does the underlined word"intact"in paragraph 2 most probably mean? 试题第6页(共12页) 可学科网·学易金卷做概费:就限是鲁潜 A.Fragile. But in the digital age, according to Anastasia Kozyreva,a psychologist at the Max Planck Institute of Human Development, and her colleagues,an even more important skill is critical ignoring. As the researchers point out,we live in an attention economy where content producers on the Internet compete for our attention. They attract us with a lot of emotional and eye-catching stories while providing little useful information,so they can expose us to profit-generating advertisements. Therefore,we are no longer customers but products, and each link we click is a sale of our time and attention. To protect ourselves from this, Kozyreva advocates for learning the skill of critical ignoring,in which readers intentionally control their information environment to reduce exposure to false and low-quality information. According to Kozyreva, critical ignoring is made up of three strategies. The first is to design our environments, which involves the removal of low-quality yet hard-to-resist information from around.Successful dieters need to keep unhealthy food out of their homes.Likewise,we need to set up a digital environment where attention-grabbing items are kept out of sight. As with dieting,if one tries to bank on willpower not to click eye-catching"news",he'll surely fail. So,it's better to just keep them out of sight to begin with The next is to evaluate the reliability (of information, whose purpose is to protect you from false and misleading information. It can be realized by checking the source in the mainstream (news agencies which have their reputations()for being trustworthy. 试题第7页(共12页) The last goes by the phrase"do not feed the trolls."Trolls are actors who intentionally spread false and O hurtful information online to cause harm.It may be appealing to respond to them to set the facts straight, but trolls just care about annoying others rather than facts. So,it's best not to reward their bad behaviour with our attention. By sharpening our critical ignoring skills in these ways,we can make the most of the Internet while avoiding falling victim to those who try to control our attention, time, and minds. 32.What can we learn about the attention economy from paragraph 2? A.It offers little information B.It stresses depressing stories. C.It saves time for Internet users D.It seeks profits from each click. 张 33.Why does the author mention dieters in paragraph 3? A.To discuss the quality of information. B.To prove the benefits of healthy food. C.To show the importance of environments. 游 D.To explain the effectiveness of willpower. 烂 34.What should we do to deal with Internet trolls according to the text? A.Uncover their intention. B.Turn a deaf ear to them. C.Correct their behaviour. D.Send hard facts to them. 35.What is the text mainly about? A.Reasons for critical thinking in the attention economy. B.Enlarging the benefits of critical ignoring on the Internet C.Practising the skill of critical ignoring in the digital age. D.Ways of giving up critical thinking for Internet users. 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) O O 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 "No pain,no gain"is a widely popular saying in fitness. Many people believe that intense workouts and physical pain are necessary to get stronger and fitter. They tend to push their bodies to the limit through heavy @ weightlifting or endless repetitive movements to achieve ideal fitness results.36 : The research suggests that people can improve their physical strength and health without exhausting and painful training. The key lies in "eccentric exercises".37 There are many common eccentric exercises in daily life. They include slowly bending and straightening the knees, walking downstairs,or gently : lowering a heavy object. 试题第8页(共12页) : Though these movements feel much easier than intense training, they are surprisingly effective.Studies show that muscles can produce greater force during eccentric exercises. 38.This allows people to build steady strength without feeling overly tired. .: : It is normal to have mild muscle soreness if you are new to such exercises, but serious pain is never a must for fitness progress.Besides, eccentric exercises bring more practical benefits.39.Simple home moves : like chair squats (and wall push-ups work perfectly.Even a few minutes of daily practice can lead to obvious health improvements over time. 40 Easy and manageable workouts are far more sustainable.People are more willing to stick with : : simple exercises long-term.In fact, consistent daily training, rather than occasional painful workouts,is the real secret to long-term physical health and fitness improvement. Therefore, forget the old saying and start with small, . easy steps A.Fitness does not depend on intensity or pain : ·: B.They require no gym space or professional equipment C.Eccentric exercises need professional tools to finish well D.Many people give up fitness because of expensive gym fees E.They focus on slow and controlled movements that stretch muscles while they work F.Meanwhile, these exercises consume less energy than traditional demanding workouts G.However, new research from Edith Cowan University challenges this traditional belief 第三部分语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 : Alexander Clark,a former IT professional, found a new career after retirement. As a child,he took a(n) 41 to woodwork and music, but his career took a different 42 After retirement,he 43 his two loves and became a flute(长笛)maker. .: Clark 44 this unique journey at the age of 70,after decades working in IT.He was 45 ·: in a musical family, with both his parents46 in music. He played the flute in his teenage years. And his : passion for the 47 was reawakened in his 40s. The library called the program March Meowness, a way to forgive people who lost or damaged borrowed items by accident. Jason Homer, the executive director of the library, said in an interview on Monday that about 400 people had their library accounts unblocked and could borrow books again after bringing in their pictures or drawings of cats. In one case, a cat-less 7-year-old boy, who lost the book Captain Underpants, had his library card work again after the staff gave him paper and a pencil to draw a cat. Like many public libraries in the United States, the Worcester Public Library is trying to encourage people to return there after the pandemic. The library had previously tried to raise the number of visitors with canned food drives. The library staff held meetings for several months to come up with different creative ways to get people back through the library doors. After these meetings, the Meowness program took shape. While the library had previously stopped charging fines for late returns, many people who faced fees for lost items simply stayed away. One woman named Julie, who had lost library DVDs by accident, regained access to her account with a photograph of a cat. 第二部分 阅读(共两节,满分50分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分,满分37.5分) 阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。 A Unusual Picnic Places Around the World There is nothing quite like a picnic with friends and family. 【答案】24.B 25.C 26.B 27.D 【导语】文章主要讲述少年 Eden 把社区旁的废弃荒地改造成社区花园,并带动镇上其他年轻人参与公益的故事。 【详解】24.细节理解题。根据第二段中的“His classmates laughed when he showed them his drafts of raised beds and a small pond, calling it “a waste of time”.(当他给同学们看他画的抬升式花床和一个小池塘的草图时,他的同学们笑了,称它是“浪费时间”)”可知,Eden的同学们最初对他花园计划的反应是认为这件事毫无意义。 25.细节理解题。根据第四段中的“Eden, now a college student, still visits every weekend to maintain the garden. He has inspired other youth in our town to start their own projects — cleaning up rivers, organizing book drives, and teaching seniors to use smartphones.(Eden现在是一名大学生,仍然每个周末都来看看,以维护这座花园。他已经激励我们镇上的其他年轻人开始他们自己的项目 —— 清理河流、组织图书募捐活动,以及教老年人使用智能手机)”可知,Eden在他的家乡产生了广泛的影响。 26.推理判断题。根据第二段中的“Regardless of this, he spent weekends clearing wastes, his arms injured by sharp glass and stones. Neighbors watched in disbelief as this young boy, who barely stood taller than the weeds, worked tirelessly under the hot sun.(尽管如此,他周末都在清理垃圾,他的手臂被锋利的玻璃和石头弄伤。邻居们难以置信地看着这个几乎不比杂草高的年轻男孩,在烈日下不知疲倦地干活)”以及第三段中的“Week after week, Eden returned.(一周又一周,Eden都会回来)”可知,Eden是一个坚定且坚持不懈的人。 27.推理判断题。根据第三段中的“What started as one boy’s dream became a collective effort.(最初只是一个男孩的梦想,后来变成了一场集体的努力)”以及最后一段中的“It begins with a single act of courage, a willingness to take the first step, and the belief that even the smallest hands can build something beautiful.(它始于一个勇气的举动,一种迈出第一步的意愿,以及这样一种信念:即使是最小的手也能建造出美丽的东西)”可知,个人的勇气和主动性能够带来集体的改变。 C In Hawaii, researchers have come up with an innovative method for putting the islands’ plastic pollution to work, covering roads with asphalt (沥青) mixed with plastic waste and old fishing nets. A.Tackle Ocean Pollution Across the Globe B.Turn Ocean Plastic Waste Into Roads C.Test New Kinds of Eco-Friendly Rubber D.Release Microplastics into the Ecosystem 【答案】28.D 29.A 30.B 31.B 【导语】本文主要介绍的是夏威夷研究人员将海洋塑料垃圾和旧渔网与沥青混合用于铺设道路的创新项目,以及该项目的研究过程和初步成果。 【详解】28.词句猜测题。根据第二段“Initial results show that the asphalt is largely intact. “We’re extremely concerned about this issue,” says chemist Jennifer Lynch, since the promising short-term performance of the asphalt does not guarantee absolute safety in the long run. (初步结果显示沥青基本保持intact。“我们对这个问题极为关注,”化学家詹妮弗·林奇说,因为这种沥青良好的短期表现并不能保证它长期绝对安全)”可知,实验初期沥青状态完好,但人们依旧担忧它长期使用的安全性。由此可推断出画线单词“intact”表示“完好无损的,未发生改变的”,和“Unchanged”含义最为接近。 29.推理判断题。根据第四段“In the first stage of the research, three experimental pavement strips were laid: a section with traditional asphalt and a kind of rubber called styrene-butadiene-styrene; another with the ground marine waste and the rubber; a third with the waste and asphalt without the rubber. (在研究的第一阶段,铺设了三条实验性路面:一段使用传统沥青和一种名为苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯的橡胶;另一段使用研磨后的海洋垃圾和橡胶;第三段使用垃圾和沥青但不加橡胶)”可知,提及三条实验路面是为了展示研究是如何进行的。 30.推理判断题。根据最后一段“Bill Buttlar, director of the Mizzou Asphalt Pavement and Innovation Lab at the University of Missouri in Columbia, says he’s impressed with the programme but notes that the challenges with road performance in Hawaii are different from those in other places. “The main challenge of scaling this up is getting the recipe right,” Buttlar says.  (哥伦比亚密苏里大学Mizzou沥青路面与创新实验室主任比尔·巴特勒表示,他对该项目印象深刻,但指出夏威夷道路性能的挑战与其他地方不同。”“扩大规模的主要挑战是找到正确的配方,”巴特勒说。)”可知,巴特勒对该项目持积极但谨慎的态度。 31.主旨大意题。根据第一段“In Hawaii, researchers have come up with an innovative method for putting the islands’ plastic pollution to work, covering roads with asphalt (沥青) mixed with plastic waste and old fishing nets. (在夏威夷,研究人员想出了一种创新方法,将岛上的塑料污染利用起来,用混合了塑料垃圾和旧渔网的沥青铺设道路)”以及第三段“The centre runs the Nets-to-Roads programme in which marine biologists collect and sort marine trash and plastic gathered from beaches, picking out waste made with a durable plastic called polyethylene found in milk containers and fishing nets. The waste and nets are ground (碾碎) and then mixed with other ingredients to make asphalt. (该中心运营着“网中之路”项目,由海洋生物学家负责收集和分类从海滩上搜集到的海洋垃圾和塑料,筛选出牛奶容器和渔网中所用的一种耐用塑料聚乙烯制成的废弃物。这些废料和渔网被粉碎后,与其他材料混合,制成沥青)”可知,本文主要讲述的是将海洋塑料垃圾转化为道路材料,最佳标题是“将海洋塑料垃圾变成道路”。 D In the days before the Internet, critical (批判的) thinking was the most important skill of informed citizens. 根据第二段中的“They attract us with a lot of emotional and eye-catching stories while providing little useful information, so they can expose us to profit-generating advertisements. Therefore, we are no longer customers but products, and each link we click is a sale of our time and attention.(它们用大量情绪化、吸引眼球的故事吸引我们,却几乎不提供有用信息,这样就能让我们接触到可创造利润的广告。因此,我们不再是消费者,反而成了产品,我们点击的每一个链接都是在出售我们的时间与注意力)”可知,在注意力经济模式下,互联网内容生产者通过吸引用户点击来获取利润,用户的每一次点击都能为其带来收益。 33.推理判断题。根据第三段中的“The first is to design our environments, which involves the removal of low-quality yet hard-to-resist information from around. Successful dieters need to keep unhealthy food out of their homes. Likewise, we need to set up a digital environment where attention-grabbing items are kept out of sight.(第一种策略是规划我们的信息环境,即移除身边那些质量低下却难以抗拒的信息。成功节食的人需要把不健康的食物放在家门外。同样地,我们也需要搭建一个让吸睛内容远离视线的数字环境)”可知,作者以节食者类比互联网用户,是为了通过生活化的例子,说明主动规划信息环境、远离诱惑源的重要性。 34.细节理解题。根据第五段中的“Trolls are actors who intentionally spread false and hurtful information online to cause harm. It may be appealing to respond to them to set the facts straight, but trolls just care about annoying others rather than facts. So, it’s best not to reward their bad behaviour with our attention.(网络挑事者是故意在网上传播虚假、有害信息来制造伤害的群体。 “No pain, no gain” is a widely popular saying in fitness. A.Fitness does not depend on intensity or pain B.They require no gym space or professional equipment C.Eccentric exercises need professional tools to finish well D.Many people give up fitness because of expensive gym fees E.They focus on slow and controlled movements that stretch muscles while they work F.Meanwhile, these exercises consume less energy than traditional demanding workouts G.However, new research from Edith Cowan University challenges this traditional belief 【答案】36.G 37.E 38.F 39.B 40.A 【导语】文章反驳了“无痛苦不健身”的传统观念,介绍离心运动无需高强度或疼痛即可增强力量。 上文“Many people believe that intense workouts and physical pain are necessary to get stronger and fitter. They tend to push their bodies to the limit through heavy weightlifting or endless repetitive movements to achieve ideal fitness results.(许多人认为高强度的锻炼和身体疼痛是变得更强壮、更健康所必需的。他们通常通过大重量举重或无休止的重复动作,将身体推向极限,以达到理想的健身效果。)”阐述了传统观念中关于健身必须伴随痛苦和极限挑战的看法;G选项“However, new research from Edith Cowan University challenges this traditional belief(然而,埃迪斯科文大学的一项新研究对这一传统观念提出了挑战)”中的“However”表示转折,且“challenges this traditional belief”正好承接上文提到的传统观念,引出下文关于离心运动的新发现。 37.上文“The key lies in ‘eccentric (离心的) exercises’.(关键在于‘离心运动’。)”引出了本文的核心概念——离心运动;E选项“They focus on slow and controlled movements that stretch muscles while they work(它们侧重于缓慢而有控制的运动,在肌肉工作时将其拉伸)”中的代词“They”指代上文的“eccentric exercises”,并且具体解释了离心运动的动作特点,与上文衔接紧密。 38.上文“Studies show that muscles can produce greater force during eccentric exercises.(研究表明,肌肉在离心运动期间可以产生更大的力量。)”指出了离心运动在力量产生方面的优势;F选项“Meanwhile, these exercises consume less energy than traditional demanding workouts(同时,与传统的艰苦锻炼相比,这些运动消耗的能量更少)”对上文表示并列补充,进一步说明了离心运动在能量消耗上的优势,这也为下文的“This allows people to build steady strength without feeling overly tired.(这使得人们能够在不感到过度疲劳的情况下建立稳定的力量。)” 是一个过渡句,提示下文将列举离心运动的具体实际好处;B选项“They require no gym space or professional equipment(它们不需要健身房空间或专业设备)”具体说明了离心运动在场地和器材上的便利性,正是上文提到的“practical benefits”之一,且与下文“Simple home moves like chair squats and wall push-ups work perfectly.(像椅子深蹲和靠墙俯卧撑这样简单的家庭动作就非常完美。)” 下文“Easy and manageable workouts are far more sustainable. People are more willing to stick with simple exercises long-term.(轻松易操作的锻炼更具可持续性。人们更愿意长期坚持简单的锻炼)”以及“Therefore, forget the old saying and start with small, easy steps.(因此,忘掉那句老话,从小而简单的步骤开始吧。)” Alexander Clark, a former IT professional, found a new career after retirement. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】范文 On the drive home, my father pulled the car over, turned to me, and let the anger out. In a trembling voice heavy with disappointment, he said, “I didn’t leave everything behind in Africa just to watch you throw your life away in a classroom or a street corner. ‘Not while I’m here’ doesn’t mean I want to control you. It means I am here to make sure you survive long enough to fly.” His words hit me harder than any punishment. I realized that his strictness was just another form of that storytelling voice, guiding me through the dark. Tears blurred my vision with profound shame and gratitude. After my father drove around the deserted streets all night, we finally found Chris. He was sitting on a curb near the park, shivering and looking lost. My father didn’t scold him. Instead, he got out of the car, wrapped his jacket around Chris’s shoulders, and said softly, “You’re not alone, son. Not while I’m here.” That night, on the way to Chris’s mother’s, the silence in the car wasn’t awkward; it was peaceful. I knew that no matter how far I went or how many mistakes I made, my father’s voice would always be with me, ensuring I grew roots strong enough to bloom. 词汇激活: 行为类 ①颤抖:shiver/tremble ②责备:scold/blame 情绪类 ①感激:gratitude/appreciation ②令人尴尬的:awkward/embarrassing 【点睛】【高分句型1】I realized that his strictness was just another form of that storytelling voice, guiding me through the dark. One woman named Julie, who had lost library DVD by accident, regained access to her account with a photograph of a cat. 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 5.正确填涂■ 选择题(请用2B铅笔填涂) 1【A][BJ[CJ 6【AJ[B]ICJ 11 [AJIB]IC] 16【AJ[BIIC] 2【A]IB]IC1 7【AIB]ICI 12 [A][B]IC] 17【A1IB1IC1 3【AIIB]IC] 8【AJIB]IC] 13【A IB]ICI 18 [AJIBIICI 4 [A][B]IC] 9 [AJIB]ICI 14【A1[B1IC] 19【AIB1IC1 5 [AJIB][CI 10【A1IB1[C1 15【AI[BIIC] 20【AJIB1IC] 21【A]IB]IC]ID] 26 [AJ[BIICIID] 31【A1IB]IC1IDJ 36 IAJ[BI[CI[DJ[EJ[FJ[GI 22【A1[BJICIID1 27 [AJIBIICIID] 32 [AJ[B][CI[D] 37 [A][BI[CJID][EJ[FJ[GI 23【A]IBJ[C1[DJ 28 IAJIBIIC]ID] 33 [A][B]ICIID] 38 [AJIBIICJID]IEJIF]IG] 24【A1IBJ[C][D] 29 IA]IB]ICJID] 34 [AJ[B]ICI[D] 39 [AJ[BJ[C]ID][EJ[F][G] 25【AlIBI[CJID] 30【A]IBIIC1ID1 35【A[B[CJID] 40 [AJIBJIC]ID]IEJ[F][G] 41【A]IBJ[C1ID] 46 IAJIBIIC]ID] 51【AI[BJICIID] 42 [A][B][C][D] 47 [A][B]IC]ID] 52 Al[B][CIID] 射 43 [A][B][C]ID] 48 [A][B][C]ID] 53 [AJ[B]ICIID] 44 [A]IB]IC]ID] 49【A1IB1IC1ID 54 [AJ[B]ICI[D] 45 [A]IBJIC]ID] 50【A[B] 55 [AJIB]ICIID] 非选择题(请在各试题的答题区内作答) 第三部分语言运用(共二节,满分30分) 第二节(共10小题:每小题1.5分,满分15分) 黎 56. 57 58 59 60 61 62 63 64. 65 请在各题目的答题区域内作答,超出黑色矩形边框限定区域的答案无效! 1.How does the man usually go to work? Paper-cutting is one of 56 (they). It is a traditional folk art with a history of more than 1500 years. People cut red paper into different shapes, 57 (include) flowers, animals and characters for festivals or important celebrations. In the past, paper-cut works 58 (stick) on windows, doors and walls to create a joyful atmosphere during the Spring Festival. Today, fewer young people master this skill. Some local artists 59 (make) great efforts to protect it. They open public workshops in communities and schools, 60 invite teenagers to learn basic cutting skills. Some designers combine paper-cut elements 61 modern product design. You can see paper-cut patterns on bags, notebooks and clothing. Li Na is 62 young paper-cut artist. She believes the old art should keep up with modern life. Besides traditional festival themes, she creates works about environmental protection and daily youth life. “Old traditions are not frozen museum exhibits. They need new creative ideas 63 (survive),” she often says. Paper-cutting carries people’s best wishes. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ( 1 / 10 ) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
