形容词副词——比较级与最高级 八年级英语上册Unit3-Unit4语法专项 比较级、最高级的变化规则： 1. 规则变化（5条规则） 1）单音节词末尾加-er（比较级），-est（最高级）great -greater -greatest 2）单音节如以e结尾，只加-r（比较级），-st（最高级）fine -finer- finest；late-later-latest 3）“辅元辅”字母组合结尾，须先双写词尾这个辅音字母，再加-er（比较级），-est（最高级） 【例】big- bigger- biggest； hot- hotter -hottest fat- fatter- fattest thin- thinner- thinnest wet- wetter -wettest 4）辅音字母+y结尾的，则变y为-i，再加-er和-est。 【例】easy- easier –easiest happy- happier-happiest heavy- heavier-heaviest friendly - friendlier-friendliest early-earlier-earliest 5）其它部分双音节和多音节词皆在前面加单词more和most 【例】careful -more careful -most careful 注意：（1）多音节adj，在前面加单词more和most构成比较级，最高级。 （2）在adj基础上，+ly，变成的adv,所有这样的副词无论音节多少，都在前面加单词more和most构成比较级，最高级。（为了不破坏副词后缀ly） （特殊注意：lovely，friendly是形容词； early是副词，但ly不是后缀） （3）不以ly结尾的简短副词，变化规则参照规则变化1-4） 【例】fast-faster-fastest high-higher-highest 2. 不规则变化（6个词） 　　good/well –better- best 　　bad/badly/ill -worse -worst 　　many/much -more -most 　　little -less -least old-older/elder-oldest/eldest 　　far -farther/further -farthest/furthest 注意：有些形容词一般没有比较等级。如： right, wrong等。 原级（同级）考点： （1）as +形容词/副词原级+as… (和…一样…) （2）not as(so) 形容词/副词原级as… (和…不一样…；不如……) （3）固定短语 as 原级 as possible (尽可能得…) as soon as possible 尽快 as quick as possible 尽快 as careful as possible 尽量小心认真 （特殊连词：as well as和；as long as 只要） （4）so，too，very, quite一般只能修饰原级，不能修饰比较级。 比较级考点（两者之间比较用比较级）： （1）句子中出现than，than前面必须是比较级。 （前后的比较对象必须是同一范畴，即同类事物之间的比较） My mum’s hair is longer than mine. （2）比较级前可用修饰词much, a lot，far，a little, a bit，even等修饰： He is even richer than I. Yao Ming is much taller than I. A watermelon is much bigger than an apple. She is the taller of the two sisters. （4）“比较级 + and + 比较级”或“more and more +原级”表示“越来越……” 如：It becomes ________________(warm) when spring comes. China is becoming ___________________(strong). Wechat is getting ____________________(popular) in China. （5）句型The more…..， the more….表示“越……越……”: The more books you read, the wider your knowledge is. 最高级考点（三者及以上比较使用最高级）： （1） 最高级表示“最……”的意思。句子中有表示范围的词或短语。 如：of the three, of all, in our class, that I have ever known” He is the _____________ in our class.
