At 15 Leonardo went to work with a famous artist. At the age of 20 he was already a master painter. Although da Vinci was a great painter, he never gave up his interest in other subjects. For example, he drew a flying machine 400 years before the airplane was invented. In all, da Vinci designed more than 1000 inventions. As a matter of fact, da Vinci started many projects that he never finished. He was always more interested in planning projects than doing them. He often quickly lost interest in one project and couldn’t wait to start another. So, he completed very few paintings. Da Vinci took four years to paint the Mona Lisa. Unfortunately, the man who ordered the painting didn’t like it and refused to pay him. However, 10 years later, da Vinci sold it to the king of France. The king hung it in the Louvre palace in Paris. Today, the Mona Lisa still hangs in the Louvre, which is now a museum. A Banff National Park: A Magical Winter Destination Banff National Park turns into a magical winter destination, offering world-class skiing, breathtaking frozen waterfalls, and impressive castle-like hotels. The watercolor brushes on my desk seemed to gaze back at me, like old friends who had been left behind. I’m Lora, an 18-year-old who secretly drew brain diagrams on napkins while classmates drew cartoons. “Art feeds the soul but starves the body,” Mom always said. Her words haunted me as my biology textbooks slowly buried my drawing pads. Then came the school career fair that changed everything. Dr. Eleanor Whitman from Harvard asked us to list our “hidden skills”. My hand shook as I wrote “observing details”, something I’d learned from painting flower petals. “That’s medical research’s most needed skill!” she exclaimed, sharing how a student turned microbiology notes into textbook illustrations. My lab partner whispered, “Remember our photosynthesis (光合作用) comic?” For the first time, my two worlds didn’t feel so separate. The real surprise came during hospital volunteering. Watching surgeries, I noticed something — the steady hands of doctors reminded me of my brushwork. When a boy struggled to describe his pain, I drew a fire-breathing dragon on his cast. “You made medicine speak,” the nurse said. Slowly, my drawing pads filled with cells that looked like colored-glass art and X-rays arranged like abstract paintings. Mr. Dawson, our career counselor, helped connect these dots. On his whiteboard, my medical knowledge and art skills overlapped in a bright yellow circle labeled “Medical Illustration”. He showed me job listings I never knew existed — graphic designers for science apps, 3D modelers for anatomy (解剖) classes. “Your impractical skill makes you stand out,” he said, pointing to my dragon drawing now used in pain management workshops. Today, my microscope and paintbrushes share the same desk. The same hands that once hesitated between them now create 3D models of viruses for vaccine education. Sometimes I teach young patients to draw their feelings instead of describing them. My story isn’t about heart and reality cancelling each other out — they just multiply possibilities. 24.What can be inferred about Lora from Paragraph 1? A.She had given up the hobby of drawing. B.She was excited about studying medicine. C.She felt torn between art and medical study. D.She regretted not practicing painting earlier. 25.Dr. Eleanor thought of Lora’s “hidden skill” as ________. A.a burden B.a plus C.a distraction D.a recreation 26.How did Lora’s hospital experience influence her? A.It helped develop her surgical skills. B.It directed her toward doctor training. C.It boosted her enthusiasm for abstract art. D.It convinced her of art’s role in health care. 27.What message does the author want to convey? A.Every cloud has a silver lining. B.Two strings to your bow light the way. C.Follow the beaten track to success. D.Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. 根据第一段中“As I signed the pre-medical application form, my fingers shook uncontrollably. The watercolor brushes on my desk seemed to gaze back at me, like old friends who had been left behind.(当我在医学预科申请表上签名时,我的手指不受控制地颤抖着。我桌上的水彩画笔似乎在凝视着我,就像被遗弃的老朋友一样)”以及““Art feeds the soul but starves the body,” Mom always said. Her words haunted me as my biology textbooks slowly buried my drawing pads.(“艺术滋养灵魂,却让身体挨饿,”妈妈总是这样说。当我的生物课本慢慢埋没我的绘图板时,她的话一直萦绕在我心头)”可知,Lora在填写医学预科申请表时手指不受控制地颤抖,觉得生物课本埋没了她的绘图板,但同时,妈妈的话“艺术滋养灵魂,却让身体挨饿”又很有道理。由此推知,她在艺术和医学学习之间感到纠结和挣扎。故选C项。 25.推理判断题。根据第二段中“Dr. Eleanor Whitman from Harvard asked us to list our “hidden skills”. My hand shook as I wrote “observing details”, something I’d learned from painting flower petals. “That’s medical research’s most needed skill!” she exclaimed, sharing how a student turned microbiology notes into textbook illustrations.(哈佛大学的Eleanor Whitman博士让我们列出自己的“隐藏技能”。当我写下“观察细节”时,我的手在颤抖,这是我从画花瓣中学到的。“这是医学研究最需要的技能!”她惊叹道,并分享了一个学生如何将微生物学笔记变成教科书插图的故事)”可知,Eleanor博士认为Lora的“隐藏技能”观察细节是医学研究最需要的技能,由此可推知,她认为这是一个加分项。故选B项。 26.推理判断题。根据第三段“The real surprise came during hospital volunteering. Watching surgeries, I noticed something — the steady hands of doctors reminded me of my brushwork. When a boy struggled to describe his pain, I drew a fire-breathing dragon on his cast. “You made medicine speak,” the nurse said. Slowly, my drawing pads filled with cells that looked like colored-glass art and X-rays arranged like abstract paintings.(真正的惊喜是在医院做志愿者时出现的。 C(新情境) China successfully launched 12 advanced computing satellites into low-Earth orbit using a Long March-6 rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on May 14, 2025. This mission marked a historic milestone: the official start of the Three-body Computing Constellation—the world’s first space-based computing network, named after a classic celestial mechanics problem about three-body motion. Unlike traditional satellites that only collect and transmit data back to Earth for processing, these new satellites are equipped with high-performance on-board computing systems, allowing them to analyze data directly in orbit. Developed jointly by Zhejiang Lab, Guoxing Aerospace, and a team of 50+ aerospace engineers, each satellite boasts a computing capacity of 744 trillion operations per second. When working in the same time, the 12-satellite network forms a seamless(无缝的)“space supercomputer.” In practical tests, it detected a forest fire in Southwest China within 8 seconds and generated a 3D flood map for a disaster-hit area in just 15 seconds — tasks that once took old-style satellites 3 to 5 days to complete. This efficiency leap originates from its ability to cut out the long data transmission loop to Earth, which previously wasted 70% to 90% of mission time. The constellation(星座) also integrates two cutting-edge technologies: 100Gbps laser communication and AI models trained on petabytes of space and Earth data. The laser links ensure ultra-fast, low-delay data sharing between satellites and ground stations, while the AI enables real-time tasks like tracking missing aircraft, monitoring extreme weather such as typhoons, and even analyzing high-energy space events. For deep-space exploration, this network is a game-rules too — it can process data from lunar probes in orbit, reducing the time delay for critical commands from weeks to mere seconds. China has outlined an ambitious expansion plan for the constellation: by 2035, it will grow to 2,800 satellites, covering global airspace, ocean areas, and remote regions. This will create a “space-ground integrated computing system” that supports industries like smart city management, precision agriculture, and emergency response. Professor Wang Jian, the lead engineer at Zhejiang Lab, noted, “Space computing power is no longer a distant concept — it will reshape how we interact with our planet and the universe, turning challenges like disaster relief and deep-space travel into manageable tasks.” As the constellation begins regular operations, it sets a new standard for global space technology innovation. 28.What is the main feature of the Three-body Computing Constellation? A.Named after a physics problem in space. B.Faster in calculations than old satellites. C.Launched via Long March rocket from Jiuquan. D.Processes data in orbit instead of just sending to Earth . 29.What role can the new computing satellites play? A.Sharply reduce earth message waiting time. B.Only find forest fires and make 3D flood maps. C.Help short-distance but not deep-space trips. D.Monitor disasters and study space events. 30.Which is the best title for the passage? A.The Future of Global Deep-Space Exploration. B.A Giant Leap In Space Computing Network. C.The Development of China’s Satellite Technology. D.China’s New Satellites: Boosting Disaster Relief. 31.What will the following passage most probably discuss? A.Historical failures and success of China’s satellite projects. B.Global responses to the advance of China’s satellite plan. C.Differences between China’s constellation and ancient tools. D.Technical challenges and solutions in building the constellation. 根据文章第一段“Unlike traditional satellites that only collect and transmit data back to Earth for processing, these new satellites are equipped with high-performance on-board computing systems, allowing them to analyze data directly in orbit.(与仅负责收集数据并传回地球处理功能的传统卫星不同,这批新型卫星搭载了高性能星上计算系统,具备了在轨直接分析数据的能力。)” 根据文章第二段“In practical tests, it detected a forest fire in Southwest China within 8 seconds and generated a 3D flood map for a disaster-hit area in just 15 seconds—tasks that once took old-style satellites 3 to 5 days to complete. One example comes from agriculture. Food unrest and hunger make news. But the trend lying behind these matters is rarely talked about. This is the decline in the growth in production of some of the world’s major crops. A new study by the University of Minnesota and McGill University in Montreal looks at where, and how far, this decline is occurring. The authors study the four most important crops: rice, wheat, corn and soybeans. They find that the improvement in yields that took place before the 1980s slowed down in the 1990s and 2000s. There are two worrying features of the slowdown. One is that it has been particularly sharp in the world’s most populous (人口多的) countries, India and China. Their ability to feed themselves has been an important source of relative stability both within the countries and on world food markets. That self-sufficiency cannot be taken for granted if yields continue to slow down. Second, production growth has been lower in wheat and rice than in corn and soybeans. This is problematic because wheat and rice are more important as foods, accounting for around half of all calories consumed. Corn and soybeans are more important as feed grains. The authors note that “We have preferentially focused our crop improvement efforts on feeding animals and cars rather than on crops that feed people and are the basis of food security in much of the world.” The report qualifies the more optimistic findings of another new paper which suggests that the world will not have to dig up a lot more land for farming in order to feed 9 billion people in 2050, as the Food and Agriculture Organisation has argued. Instead, it says, thanks to slowing population growth, land currently ploughed up for crops might be able to revert (回返) to forest or wilderness. This could happen. The trouble is that the forecast assumes continued improvements in production, which may not actually happen. 32.What does the author try to draw attention to? A.Food riots and hunger in the world. B.News headlines in the leading media. C.The decline of the grain production growth. D.The food supply in populous countries. 33.Why does the author mention India and China in particular? A.Their self-sufficiency is vital to the stability of world food markets. B.Their food yields have begun to decrease sharply in recent years. C.Their big populations are causing worldwide concerns. D.Their food self-sufficiency has been taken for granted. 34.What does the Food and Agriculture Organization say about world food production in the coming decades? A.The growing population will greatly increase the pressure on world food supplies. B.The optimistic prediction about food production should be viewed with caution. C.The slowdown of the growth in yields of major food crops will be reversed. D.The world will be able to feed its population without increasing farmland. 35.How does the author view the argument of the Food and Agriculture Organisation? A.It is built on the findings of a new study. B.It is based on a doubtful assumption. C.It is backed by strong evidence. D.It is open to further discussion. 【答案】32.C 33.A 34.D 35.B 【分析】这是一篇议论文。文章主要讲了世界上一些最重要的问题从未登上头条。一个例子来自农业。粮食动荡和饥饿成为新闻。但这些事情背后的趋势却很少被谈及,世界上一些主要农作物产量增长的下降是一个很紧迫的问题。 【详解】32.细节理解题。根据第一段This is the decline in the growth in production of some of the world’s major crops. A new study by the University of Minnesota and McGill University in Montreal looks at where, and how far, this decline is occurring.(这是世界上一些主要农作物产量增长的下降。明尼苏达大学和蒙特利尔麦吉尔大学的一项新研究着眼于这种下降是在何处、以及在多大程度上发生的)由此可知,作者试图引起人们注意粮食产量增长的下降。故选C。 33.推理判断题。根据第三段One is that it has been particularly sharp in the world’s most populous (人口多的) countries, India and China. Their ability to feed themselves has been an important source of relative stability both within the countries and on world food markets. That self-sufficiency cannot be taken for granted if yields continue to slow down.(一个是,在世界上人口最多的国家——印度和中国,这种趋势尤为明显。他们自给自足的能力一直是国家内部和世界粮食市场相对稳定的一个重要来源。如果产量继续下降,这种自给自足就不能被视为理所当然)由此推断出,作者特别提到了印度和中国是因为它们的自给自足对世界粮食市场的稳定至关重要。故选A。 34.细节理解题。根据倒数第二段The report qualifies the more optimistic findings of another new paper which suggests that the world will not have to dig up a lot more land for farming in order to feed 9 billion people in 2050, as the Food and Agriculture Organisation has argued.(该报告证实了另一篇新论文中较为乐观的发现,即如联合国粮农组织所言,到2050年,为了养活90亿人口,世界将不必开辟更多的耕地)由此可知,联合国粮农组织认为,在未来几十年,世界将能够在不增加耕地的情况下养活其人口。故选D。 35.推理判断题。根据最后一段Instead, it says, thanks to slowing population growth, land currently ploughed up for crops might be able to revert (回返) to forest or wilderness. This could happen. The trouble is that the forecast assumes continued improvements in production, which may not actually happen.(相反,它说,由于人口增长放缓,目前用于种植作物的土地可能会恢复成森林或荒野。这可能发生。问题在于,该预测假定生产将持续改善,但实际情况可能并非如此)由此推断出,作者认为粮农组织的观点是基于一个可疑的假设。故选B。 【点睛】通过对关键词,关键短语或者是关键的句子的把握是解决推理判断题的重要解题方法之一,它们往往隐藏着深层的意思。小题2根据第三段One is that it has been particularly sharp in the world’s most populous (人口多的) countries, India and China. Their ability to feed themselves has been an important source of relative stability both within the countries and on world food markets. That self-sufficiency cannot be taken for granted if yields continue to slow down.(一个是,在世界上人口最多的国家——印度和中国,这种趋势尤为明显。他们自给自足的能力一直是国家内部和世界粮食市场相对稳定的一个重要来源。如果产量继续下降,这种自给自足就不能被视为理所当然)由此推断出,作者特别提到了印度和中国是因为它们的自给自足对世界粮食市场的稳定至关重要。故选A。 第二节(共5小题, 每小题2. 5分, 共12. 5分) 阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Understand your pet's body language Body language is different depending on what sort of animal you have chosen as your pet. 36 Understanding your pet's body language will help you to be a better communicator, as you can even copy some of its movements, expressions and sounds to send your message in a way it understands. ● 37 If your dog isn't looking directly at you, but is looking out of the corners of its eyes so that you see a lot of the whites of the eyes, it might be about to have an aggressive outburst. If your dog is feeling stressed or aggressive, its wide eyes will be accompanied by a rigid(绷紧的)body. ●If your cat looks at you and blinks at you slowly, it's likely communicating affection. 38 For cats, closing one's eyes in the presence of another is a way to show trust. If your cat feels threatened, its tail will likely be upright; its back will likely be arched, too. ● 39 If your bird's pupils (  瞳孔) enlarge and shrink rapidly, this can be a sign that it's excited or greatly interested, or scared or angry. 40 Birds will shake their feathers while cleaning themselves ; if their feathers remain shaking, however, this could mean they’re unwell, in which case, take them to an animal doctor for a checkup. A.Pets' health depends on your daily care. B.You can do this back at your cat to show your love, too. C.The context is important in telling which emotion it might be. D.Birds can be quite expressive through their eyes, feathers, and voices. E.When dogs feel stressed out or threatened, their eyes will look larger than normal. F.Once familiar with each other's presence and body language, cats and dogs can play together. G.If you're unsure of your pet's body language, consider reading some articles for your specific animal. 【答案】36.G 37.E 38.B 39.D 40.C 【分析】这是一篇说明文。文章通过举例说明一些宠物的肢体语言,解读宠物的动机和情绪。来帮助宠物主人更好的和动物沟通。 36.上文“Body language is different depending on what sort of animal you have chosen as your pet.”(肢体语言的不同取决于你选择哪种动物作为你的宠物。故下文应该是告诉读者从自己的宠物种类来判断肢体语言的意思,如果你不确定或者你的宠物的肢体语言应该怎么办。)而G项“If you're unsure or your pet's body language, consider reading some articles for your specific animal.”(如果你不确定或者你的宠物的肢体语言,考虑为你所特有的动物读一些文章。)与上文意思相承接,故选G项。 37.下文“If your dog isn't looking directly at you, but is looking out of the corners of its eyes so that you see a lot of the whites of the eyes, it might be about to have an aggressive outburst.”( 如果你的狗不是直接看着你,而是从它的眼角往外看,这样你就会看到很多眼白,它可能会有攻击性的爆发。)可以推测,本段应该是从狗狗的眼神来判断它的情绪。E项中“When dogs feel stressed out or threatened, their eyes will look larger than normal.”(当狗狗感到紧张或受到威胁时,它们的眼睛看起来会比正常情况下更大)。符合段落标题,故选E项。 38.上文“If your cat looks at you and blinks at you slowly, it's likely communicating affection.”(如果你的猫看着你,慢慢地向你眨眼,这可能是在表达爱意,)下文“For cats, closing one's eyes in the presence of another is a way to show trust.”(对猫来说,在另一只猫面前闭上眼睛是表示信任的一种方式。)可以推测空处是关于猫和人类表达亲密关系时的眼神沟通。B项“You can do this back at your cat to show your love, too.”(你也可以对你的猫这样做,来表达你的爱。)与上文意思承接,且引出下文宠物之间眼神沟通表达的意思,故选B项。 39.下文“If your bird's pupils enlarge and shrink rapidly, this can be a sign that it's excited or greatly interested, or scared or angry.”(如果你的鸟的瞳孔迅速扩大和收缩,这可能是表明它是兴奋还是极大地感兴趣,害怕或生气的一个信号。)可以推知上文应该为描述鸟用肢体语言表达情感。而D项“Birds can be quite expressive through their eyes, feathers, and voices.”(鸟类可以通过它们的眼睛、羽毛和声音表达自己的情感。)与下文意思相承接,故选D项。 40.下文“Birds will shake their feathers while cleaning themselves ; if their feathers remain shaking, however, this could mean they’re unwell, in which case, take them to an animal doctor for a checkup.”(鸟儿洗漱时会抖动羽毛;然而,如果它们的羽毛一直在抖动,这可能意味着它们不舒服,在这种情况下,带它们去看动物医生检查一下。)这几句讲述了鸟在不同情况下抖动翅膀所表达的不同情绪。而C项“The context is important in telling which emotion it might be.”(背景在辨别表达的是哪种情感时很重要。)意为在不同的背景下,即使是同一种动作,所表达的情感也不同,能概括下文意思,故选C项。 第三部分 语言运用(共两节, 满分30分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题1分, 共15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 Each year the headmaster of the school where I work asks us to read a book chosen by him. This year’s book is The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything by Ken Robinson. Robinson uses the term “the Element” to 42 the place where the things we love to do and the things we are good at come together. He goes on to say that he feels it is 43 for each of us to find our Element, not just for our own development, but for the improvement of our communities. How easy is it to look at those who seem to have found their Element. They are great at what they do, and we 44 they love to do it because they do what they do so well. But what is important to note, Robinson says, is that each of us has the ability to find the Element. In academic settings, there is an effort to help students uncover what 45 they have been given. The goal then is to help them discover these talents through experience and education. 46 , this is only one piece of the puzzle. Another piece is finding where a person’s talent and the love of 47 that talent intersect (相交). A kind worker saw the bag moving and used a tool to tear open the bag to look inside. There was my shaking puppy dog. The tool hurt him a little, making him walk with a small limp, but he could run as fast as lightning. For Max’s first birthday, we joined a 3K fun run by an animal help group. I’ m not much of a runner, but the run was only 3 kilometers, so I thought it would be fun for both of us. We practiced for weeks. On our practice runs, Max wagged his tail wildly and usually dragged me along behind him. I worked on his leash(拴狗链)manners so that he wouldn’t trip me on the big day. I felt we were ready for anything. The fun run was downtown among the big buildings. When the race started loudly, the loud barks from other dogs scared Max. He had trouble running in the right direction with all the confusion around us. But soon the runners began to spread out, Max was running straight and fast. We were passing people and making great time. I was dreaming of a gold-medal finish. However, near the end, Max suddenly stopped and dropped to the ground, pulling the leash hard enough to almost hurt my shoulder. At first, I thought something bad had happened to him. He was shaking and sobbing. I did a quick check and couldn’t see anything wrong. I tried to get him up, but he refused. The police officer doing traffic control impatiently signed me to move away so the traffic could pass. Paragraph 1: Max lay frozen on the ground, refusing to move. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: Max lay frozen on the ground, refusing to move. The harder I tried to scoop him up from the pavement, the more he fought me. The officer yelling and cars honking, I pulled him with all my might, but in vain. Finally, I got my arm under him and lifted him up in a fireman’s carry, throwing him over my shoulder. As I staggered to the roadside, people around were taking my dog’s side, laughing I was running him too hard. I was overwhelmed with anger. My dog would run all day long and he wasn’t the least bit tired. The garbage truck’s roaring engine suddenly explained everything. Its sound must have hit my dog’s sensitive ears, so he cried louder and clawed at my back as we drew closer to it. I held on tighter and ran as fast as I could to get my sweet baby dog away from that scary garbage truck. I ran with him on my shoulder until I felt him relaxed, and then I set him down. He wagged his tail in gratitude for saving him from the garbage truck. Surely, we didn’t win any medals, but I won his trust forever. 淹没:be overwhelmed with/be swamped with ③嘲笑:laugh/tease 情绪类 ①气愤:with anger/with fury 放松:relaxed/eased ②感激:gratitude/thankfulness 【点睛】[高分句型1] As I staggered to the roadside, people around were taking my dog’s side, laughing I was running him too hard.(运用了as引导时间状语从句和现在分词作伴随状语,以及省略了that的宾语从句) [高分句型2] I ran with him on my shoulder until I felt him relaxed, and then I set him down.(运用了until引导时间状语从句) ( 1 / 24 ) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2026-2027学年高二上学期期中模拟卷(全国I卷) 英语·参考答案 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分30分) 第一节(共5小题;每小题1.5分,满分7.5分) 1—5 AAABC 6—10 CCBCC 第二节(共15小题;每小题1.5分,满分 22.5分) 11—15 BBBAC 16—20 BABAC 第二部分 阅读(共两节, 满分50分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题2. 5分, 满分37. 5分) 21. By making studying more enjoyable and personalized, it would allow us to develop healthier study habits and a more positive attitude toward challenges. 第二节(满分25分) 【参考范文】 Max lay frozen on the ground, refusing to move. C(新情境) China successfully launched 12 advanced computing satellites into low-Earth orbit using a Long March-6 rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on May 14, 2025. D Some of the world’s most significant problems never hit headlines. 第二节(共5小题, 每小题2. 5分, 共12. 5分) 阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Understand your pet's body language Body language is different depending on what sort of animal you have chosen as your pet. 第三部分 语言运用(共两节, 满分30分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题1分, 共15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 Each year the headmaster of the school where I work asks us to read a book chosen by him. The book provides a framework for work we will do throughout the school year, which can 41 better service to our students. I like this book very much since it 48 my own life: how I parent my kid, how I teach, and how I lend support to the students I work with, 49 or in groups. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: The garbage truck’s roaring engine suddenly explained everything. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第11页(共12页) 试题 第12页(共12页) 试题 第9页(共12页) 试题 第10页(共12页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2026-2027学年高二上学期期中模拟卷(全国I卷) 英 语 (考试时间:120分钟 试卷满分:150分) 考生注意: 1. 1.What will the man do this evening? C(新情境) China successfully launched 12 advanced computing satellites into low-Earth orbit using a Long March-6 rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on May 14, 2025. D Some of the world’s most significant problems never hit headlines. 第二节(共5小题, 每小题2. 5分, 共12. 5分) 阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Understand your pet's body language Body language is different depending on what sort of animal you have chosen as your pet. The book provides a framework for work we will do throughout the school year, which can 41 better service to our students. I like this book very much since it 48 my own life: how I parent my kid, how I teach, and how I lend support to the students I work with, 49 or in groups. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: The garbage truck’s roaring engine suddenly explained everything. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ( 1 / 10 ) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $第一节听下面五段录音。每段录音后有一个小题,从题中所给的ABC3个选项中选出最佳选项。听完每段录音后,你都有10秒钟的时间来回答有关小题和阅读下一小题。每段录音播放两遍。现在你有5秒钟的时间阅读第一小题的有关内容。听下面的录音,回答第一小题。There will be an outdoor movie in our neighbourhood tonight. Developed jointly by Zhejiang Lab,Guoxing Aerospace, and a team of 50+aerospace engineers, each satellite boasts a computing capacity of 744 trillion operations per second. When working in the same time, the 12-satellite network forms a seamless()"space supercomputer."In practical tests,it detected a forest fire in Southwest China within 8 seconds and generated a 3D flood map for a disaster-hit area in just 15 seconds-tasks that once took old-style satellites 3 to 5 days to complete. This efficiency leap originates from its ability to cut out the long data transmission loop to Earth, which previously wasted 70%to 90%of mission time. The constellation()also integrates two cutting-edge technologies:100Gbps laser communication and AI models trained on petabytes of space and Earth data. The laser links ensure ultra-fast,low-delay data sharing between satellites and ground stations, while the AI enables real-time tasks like tracking missing aircraft, monitoring extreme weather such as typhoons, and even analyzing high-energy space events. For deep-space exploration, this network is a game-rules too-it can process data from lunar probes in orbit, reducing the time delay for critical commands from weeks to mere seconds. China has outlined an ambitious expansion plan for the constellation:by 2035,it will grow to 2,800 satellites, covering global airspace, ocean areas, and remote regions. This will create a"space-ground integrated computing system"that supports industries like smart city management, precision agriculture, and emergency response.Professor Wang Jian, the lead engineer at Zhejiang Lab,noted,"Space computing power is no longer a distant concept-it will reshape how we interact with our planet and the universe, turning challenges like disaster relief and deep-space travel into manageable tasks."As the constellation begins regular operations,it sets a new standard for global space technology innovation. 28.What is the main feature of the Three-body Computing Constellation? A.Named after a physics problem in space. B.Faster in calculations than old satellites. C.Launched via Long March rocket from Jiuquan. D.Processes data in orbit instead of just sending to Earth. 29.What role can the new computing satellites play? A.Historical failures and success of China's satellite projects. B.Global responses to the advance of China's satellite plan. C.Differences between China's constellation and ancient tools. D.Technical challenges and solutions in building the constellation. D Some of the world's most significant problems never hit headlines. One example comes from agriculture. Food unrest and hunger make news. But the trend lying behind these matters is rarely talked about. This is the decline in the growth in production of some of the world's major crops.A new study by the University of Minnesota and McGill University in Montreal looks at where, and how far, this decline is occurring. The authors study the four most important crops:rice, wheat, corn and soybeans. They find that the improvement in yields that took place before the 1980s slowed down in the 1990s and 2000s. There are two worrying features of the slowdown. One is that it has been particularly sharp in the world's most populous (countries,India and China.Their ability to feed themselves has been an important source of relative stability both within the countries and on world food markets. That self-sufficiency cannot be taken for granted if yields continue to slow down. Second, production growth has been lower in wheat and rice than in corn and soybeans. This is problematic because wheat and rice are more important as foods, accounting for around half of all calories consumed.Corn and soybeans are more important as feed grains. The authors note that "We have preferentially focused our crop improvement efforts on feeding animals and cars rather than on crops that feed people and are the basis of food security in much of the world." The report qualifies the more optimistic findings of another new paper which suggests that the world will 试题第7页(共12页) not have to dig up a lot more land for farming in order to feed 9 billion people in 2050,as the Food and O Agriculture Organisation has argued. : Instead,it says, thanks to slowing population growth, land currently ploughed up for crops might be able to revert (to forest or wilderness. This could happen. The trouble is that the forecast assumes continued improvements in production, which may not actually happen & 32.What does the author try to draw attention to? 兵 A.Food riots and hunger in the world. B.News headlines in the leading media. 张 C.The decline of the grain production growth. : D.The food supply in populous countries. 33.Why does the author mention India and China in particular? A.Their self-sufficiency is vital to the stability of world food markets. 游 B.Their food yields have begun to decrease sharply in recent years. 游 C.Their big populations are causing worldwide concerns. D.Their food self-sufficiency has been taken for granted. O 34.What does the Food and Agriculture Organization say about world food production in the coming decades? : A.The growing population will greatly increase the pressure on world food supplies. B.The optimistic prediction about food production should be viewed with caution. C.The slowdown of the growth in yields of major food crops will be reversed. D.The world will be able to feed its population without increasing farmland. 35.How does the author view the argument of the Food and Agriculture Organisation? 感 A.It is built on the findings of a new study. : B.It is based on a doubtful assumption.
