四、阅读理解
Last September, Green Hill Middle School started a new programme called “Move Every Day”. Before classes began, every student had to spend twenty minutes exercising on the playground. At first, many students thought it was a waste of time, and some of them even hid in the classroom.
The school decided to try the programme after a survey. It showed that over half of the students never worked out in their free time and often felt stressed. The headmaster believed that a healthy body would help students learn better, so he asked all the teachers to join the morning exercise too.
Chen Wei was one of the first to change. He used to be slim and often ill, and he was afraid of running. After three months of morning exercise, he became stronger and joined the school running team. “I make it to the track every morning now,” he said happily.
The programme also brought the school together. Students who once laughed at slow runners now cheer for them, and more people come to watch the school sports meeting. A teacher said the students had learned to set an example for each other instead of competing only for medals.
Not everyone loved the idea at first, and the school still faces problems like rainy days and busy exam weeks. But most students now agree that the daily exercise is worth the time. For them, keeping fit is no longer a task but a habit that makes every school day better.

五、阅读七选五
For many people, sport is just a way to pass the time. But for me, it has slowly changed the way I live. When I was twelve, I was weak, quiet and often ill. Then one summer, my father took me to a small gym near our home. 31
At first, I could only jog for a few minutes before I felt tired. I wanted to give up many times, but my father told me to keep going. 32 Little by little, I found that I could run longer and longer.
Sport also changed my eating habits. I used to love sweet drinks and fried food, which made me put on weight. 33 Now I eat more vegetables and fruit, and I sleep much better at night.
The biggest change, however, was in my mind. Playing basketball with others taught me to trust my teammates. 34 When we lost a game, I learned not to lose heart but to try harder next time.
Today I am stronger, happier and more confident than before. 35 In a word, sport and a healthy life have given me not only a good body but also a better person to be.
A.I began to eat less junk food and more vegetables.
B.That was the day my new life began.
C.So I decided to give up exercise at once.
D.Slowly, my body became stronger and my mind clearer.
E.Sport has become a part of my life that I truly enjoy.
F.Eating too much sugar is bad for your teeth.
G.These small moments taught me to face failure and to work with others.
