The Chongqing Robot and AI Application Demonstration Centre (重庆机器人 AI 应用展示中心) opened on 1 March 2026. Covering an area of 13,000 square metres, it will be completed in two phases (阶段) and will finally be divided into five different technology areas. Its goal is simple: to help the public better understand advanced machines and to show the city’s dream of being a leader in high-end manufacturing (高端的制造业).
On the first floor, visitors enter the world of industrial robots. These are the powerful machines commonly used in factories. A live show here is truly amazing to watch. Four large robots work together smoothly, moving metal parts in an assembly-line rhythm (流水线般的节奏). “These robots are common in workshops and on production lines, but they still seem new to many people,” a manager from the centre explained. Upstairs, the experience changes from heavy industry to hands-on fun. Visitors who book tickets in advance can join in exciting activities. They can play chess with a robot arm, take part in a small-size football match with moving robots, or chat with educational robots. There are also AI exam challenges to test your knowledge.
The centre is especially popular with children. They can learn to control a cute robot dog to walk and lie down. A humanoid robot also gives live performances, doing kung fu that draws crowds of all ages. Besides these shows, there are stations that explain how robots and AI work in simple ways.
Since its opening, the centre has welcomed large crowds of visitors. It is still growing, with more exciting experiences on the way.
Digital health uses smart devices to check your health and send health information. Doctors can then use that information to make sure your treatment is right for you.
Digital health helps you watch important information all the time. Wearable devices can record your blood pressure (血压) and how fast your heart beats (跳动). This information is then shared online. So, your doctor has a lot of information about your daily health and can use it to change your treatment.
A 2020 study by Lightico found that 41% of people said the remote treatment they got through digital devices and the internet was either “good” or “excellent”. People who put money into digital health businesses also liked it. In the first three months of 2020, about $3.1 billion went into the digital health field. That was the most ever at that time.
People are also excited about using voice technology in digital health care. Today, about 2.5 billion devices use this technology, like Alexa. It allows devices to understand and produce speech. So, users can talk to these devices instead of typing (打字). Older people can use Alexa to check their daily plans and remind (提醒) themselves to take medicine.
However, health technology can lead to worries about keeping personal information safe. Information about your health could be used for advertising (做广告) or marketing. If health records are available online, it’s hard to stop others from taking or using them wrongly. But if people use them in the right way, the good parts of digital health will bring big changes to health care.
46. What can wearable devices record?

第三节 书面表达(One possible version):
Traditional or digital: my learning style
With the development of technology, our ways of learning have changed a lot.
Traditional learning has its advantages. Using textbooks and notebooks helps me focus better, and writing by hand improves my memory. However, it often takes me more time when I need to look up information. Digital learning, however, can help save a lot of time. With e-books and online materials, I can learn anytime and anywhere. Educational apps also make learning easier and more interesting. But looking at screens for a long time may easily make my eyes tired.
Personally, I prefer to combine the two ways. For subjects like maths, I use pen and paper to solve problems. For languages, I love using digital tools to practise listening and speaking. I can make good use of both and study efficiently by combining them. After all, the best learning style is the one that works for you!
