根据原文“Have you ever heard of Qian Xuesen, the father of China’s space program?”,be known as为固定表达,表达作为……
It was possible for sb. to do sth. more possible“更有可能的”;the most possible“最有可能的”,均不符合语境。

During the 2021 Shanghai Fashion Week, a young, slim and confident model with an iron leg drew everyone’s attention. Her name was Niu Yu. She lost her right leg in the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. She was only 11 years old then.
Niu Yu used to be in the school sports team. She loved running. But the disaster broke her dream. She had to live with an artificial leg. It wasn’t comfortable, and her leg often bled. People’s curious eyes made her even more uncomfortable. She always tried to hide her leg under jeans or dresses.
With the support of her family and friends, Niu Yu slowly came out from the shadows. In 2018, right before her 21st birthday, she decided not to hide her leg any longer. To her surprise, she received lots of encouraging words. She also finished a half marathon in about 4 hours. She completed the hard 10-year journey of finding herself again.
Now Niu Yu puts her experiences on social media (媒体). She listens to disaster survivors and encourages them to look forward. In 2023, she carried the torch (火炬) at the FISU World University Games. “It is a great honour for me,” she said. “But it is also a good chance to show people the power of being brave.”

Saihanba: From Desert to Green Miracle
Saihanba is a forest park in the north of Hebei Province, about 400 kilometres from Beijing. Long ago, it was a beautiful place with many trees and animals. However, in the late Qing Dynasty, people cut down too many trees. The forest slowly disappeared, and the area became a barren desert. Terrible sandstorms often hit Beijing and other northern cities.
In 1962, the Chinese government decided to change this situation. A group of foresters came to Saihanba and started to plant trees. Life was very hard there. In winter, the temperature could drop to -40℃. There was no house to live in and little food to eat. However, these foresters did not give up. They planted trees year after year. Many trees died in the beginning, but they kept trying.
After nearly 60 years of hard work, the miracle happened. Today, Saihanba is once again a huge forest. It is known as the “Green Pearl” of North China. The forest stops sandstorms from reaching Beijing. It also provides clean water and fresh air for millions of people. Many rare animals and birds have returned to their home.
People all over the world admire the spirit of the Saihanba foresters. It shows that humans and nature can live together in harmony if we work hard and never give up.
