Students are also in danger. In Shanghai, young people under 25 made up 15% of all victims. The youngest was only 7. For middle school students, common tricks include fake game deals, star-chasing tricks and gifts in live-streaming rooms.
The police gave old people three rules: do not believe strange calls, do not want cheap gains, and do not send money. Never tell a stranger your bank card password or verification code (验证码). Doing that may make you lose all your money. Everyone must stay alert (警惕的), and scammers have no chance.
