(对某人来说)做某事是......的 It takes sb. some time to do sth. 花费某人多长时间做某事 It’s time for sb. to do sth. 是某人做某事的时候了 sb. find it +adj. + to do sth. 某人认为做某事是....的 非谓语动词:动名词(doing)的判断 固定搭配 ①介词 + doing:in, on, at, about, with, within, without, for, of, after, before, by, from, as, like, through, up, off, against, around等; ②动词 + doing:finish, enjoy, practice, imagine, avoid, consider, suggest, mind, keep等; ③短语:look forward to doing, pay attention to doing, feel like doing,be busy doing,be worth doing, spend time (in) doing, have fun doing, have difficulty/trouble/problems (in) doing; 非谓语动词的多种搭配 一些词和短语可以接(to) do和doing,表示的意思不同,要翻译句子再填空。 (1)stop, forget, remember, regret, try, go on, mean, need, can’t help + to do(去做下一件事) / doing(正在做或做过的事) (2)使役动词:let/make/have/get sb. + do(一般做) / doing(持续做) / done(被动) (3)感官动词:see, watch, hear, notice + sb. + do(做全程) / doing(正在做) (3)宁愿做......而不愿做:prefer (sb.) In 2015, Volvo, a carmaker from Sweden, tested (测试) such cars in Beijing. That year, self-driving cars first 1 wide attention (关注) in the country. Later, Chinese companies like Baidu started 2 self-driving cars, too. Right now, China 3 the world’s largest market for self-driving cars. By 2040, there 4 12 million robot taxis in China, followed by the US with around 7 million. However, some people 5 about the safety. They think that technology might fail, or that self-driving cars won’t be able to handle every situation, like bad weather or unexpected obstacles (障碍). For example, in Wuhan, Baidu’s self-driving cars had some small accidents. Once, one such car 6 in front of a bag and caused (导致) a traffic jam. Another time, two cars slowed down to face each other and did not know what 7 next. These situations might seem funny but can actually be dangerous. If a robot car has a big accident, it 8 people’s help because it can’t decide what to do next by itself and has to wait for someone to come and help. Also, it’s not clear who should be responsible (负有责任的) when something 9 wrong—the company that owns the robot car, the person who designed it, or both. Luckily, in December 2023, the government made a set of new rules 10 the safety of self-driving cars. More rules will come in the future. In conclusion, while self-driving cars are still in their early stages, they have the potential to be very safe. But it’s important to remember that technology needs time to develop and improve. Some scientists say you will even have robotic (机器人的) friends in a few 4 . But if that 5 , robots must be able to think and have feelings. Scientists are 6 robots that can act like animals. “Today, robots are like actors—they may show their feelings, 7 they don’t feel them,” the scientist Steels says, “I want to change that.” “Robots will be more like humans in the future.” Steels says. But most of 8 will still only do jobs that humans can’t do, or don’t want to do. Robots 9 get bored, tired or scared. So they are perfect for working in factories and 10 places. 1 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
