If you get angry many times in a day, it is time for you to think about how to deal with it. Here are some of my suggestions.
When you are angry, try to tell yourself in a calm voice that you are angry and that it is not a bad thing. It just shows that you have different ideas. Accept that many things are not 100% right or wrong. When you communicate with others, the final purpose is not to decide who is right and who is wrong, but to look for something in common.
If you still feel strong anger, try taking a deep breath and letting anger out of your body along with the breath. Don’t say angry words to others when you are very angry, for you will regret saying them when you cool down.
You can also try to write down your feelings in a notebook. Sometimes, putting your thoughts on paper makes you feel much better and helps you understand why you are upset.
Talking to someone you trust, like a friend or a family member, is also very helpful. When two persons are angry, they might not listen to each other well. A third person can see things more clearly and help both sides understand each other better.
Remember, anger is just one of the many feelings that make us human. Learning to manage it well is an important skill. It not only helps you feel better but also allows you to understand the world and the people around you in a deeper way.

Dancing is good for health. Moving our bodies helps us relax and forget our problems. A lot of people take up dancing as a hobby. In fact, dancing has been considered one of the best exercises to fight bad feelings in recent years. When we dance, our bodies produce many endorphins, a chemical (化学物质) that makes us feel relaxed and happy.
While simply listening to music or doing sports can cheer us up, mixing them together gives better results. In a study, a group of German scientists tested some patients under three conditions: a group dancing to music, a group just listening to music, and a group riding bikes without music. The results showed that the first group were the least depressed (沮丧的).
Dancing can bring people together, too. Tango, Latin-or other social dances require us to move with others, which can improve our sense of social bonding (联系), according to a study.
Dancing also helps people let go of bad feelings. Studies have found that depression often has to do with sadness about the past or worries about the future. However, dancing helps you focus on the present, connect with your body, and free your mind for a while, as reported by Psych Central, a mental health news website.
Lauren Helper, a social worker in Virginia, US, said that dancing can take any form, whether it’s moving around the house to a song or going out dancing with friends. “The most important part of movement is that it is fun,” she said.

In early human history, home was like a small fire and a circle of close people. 31 It is more than just a place. It helps us feel safe and connected (有联系的).
You can feel at home in other places. 32 For example, if you travel to another city or country, you might start to feel comfortable there at first. 33 That shows how strong the line between home and not-home can be.
34 For example, a bird’s true home is its habitat (栖息地), like the forest. But for us, we can live almost anywhere—our habitat is more like mental (精神的) space.
Sometimes, when you go back home after a trip, your house might look like any other house on the street. 35 People, memories (回忆), and feelings turn a space into a real home. It is full of love and dreams.
A.But you may feel very homesick (想家的) when you are away for some days.
B.But that feeling quickly goes away because your home holds a special place in your heart.
C.Over time, the home becomes an important part of how we think and feel about the world.
D.For animals, home is often the natural world that they live in.
E.But it’s different from being in your true home.
四、阅读回答问题
Passage1
阅读下面短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
Jessica was a healthy woman. One day, she woke up and there was something wrong. After she was sent to the hospital, her heart rate (心率) slowed by nearly 50 percent. It took a week for doctors to find out what was causing her problem.
After several weeks, Jessica was able to move her lips (嘴唇). Her friend noticed this and introduced Jessica to Consuelo Gonzalez, a 30-year-old professional lip reader. Consuelo can understand what people are saying by the shape of their lips. Consuelo can also understand how annoying (令人沮丧的) it is to be unable to communicate. She has been completely deaf (聋的) for 22 years.
For a few hours each week, Jessica could have long conversations with Consuelo. Through Consuelo, Jessica asked the doctors and nurses questions she had long wanted to know. She also talked to Consuelo about the dreams she was mixing up with reality (现实).
After four and a half months in the hospital, Jessica finally got well and she finally went back to work as a maths professor.
36.Why was Jessica sent to hospital?
37.Who introduced Jessica to Consuelo?
38.How does Consuelo understand what people are saying?
39.Did Jessica get well after four and a half months in the hospital?
40.What advice would you give to patients to help them stay positive during a long illness?
Passage2
Do you know what makes you happy? Many people spend much time thinking about happiness. They believe fun activities hold the key to happiness. They think if they spend plenty of time enjoying fun things, such as games or parties, they will feel truly happy for a long time.
Well, maybe not. For most people, fun alone cannot bring real happiness. Paul Dolan wrote a book called Happiness by Design. He says that happiness comes from both pleasure and purpose. If most of the things you enjoy give you only pleasure, that is what you think brings happiness. But meaningful activities with purpose are also necessary for our life.
We can easily see pleasure, yet it is harder to get the meaning. For example, most people believe pilots’ jobs have clear purpose. They fly hundreds of passengers across the world. However, pilots spend long hours in boring hotels and airports, repeating (重复) similar tasks. Such parts of their job may not bring them a sense of meaning.
Pleasure usually does not last long: you enjoy it, and then it fades (慢慢消失). Purpose means doing something useful or important, even when you are not having fun. Feelings from purpose usually last far longer than those from pleasure. Teenagers need to keep the two balanced for real happiness that lasts a long time.
根据语篇内容,按要求回答问题。
41.What do many people think can bring them true happiness?
42.Which two parts make up happiness according to Paul Dolan?
43.Where do pilots spend long hours?
44.What kind of feeling lasts much longer according to the passage?
45.What is the main idea of the passage? (不超过15个词)

三、阅读还原
根据材料内容,从下面五个选项中选出能填入文中空缺处的最佳选项,使文章意思通顺、内容完整。
