Step 2 Work on A 1.Ask students to read the poem Dream silently and then read it aloud together. 2.Guide students to understand the meaning of the poem and share their feelings about dreams. Step 3 Work on B 1.Present the conversation between Millie and Kitty.Ask students to identify each girl’s dream and what she needs to do to achieve it. 2.Organize students to work in pairs and discuss their own dreams and how to achieve them,using the conversation as a model. 3.Invite several pairs to present their conversations.Give feedback. Step 4 Work on C 1.Ask students:“Do you know any people who never gave up and achieved their dreams?” 2.Let students share stories in groups and then ask some students to tell the class.
