◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class warmly.
2.Show several situations familiar to teenagers,such as feeling tired in class,having too much homework,arguing with parents and feeling lonely.Ask students which situations they have heard about and how such problems may affect daily life.
Step 2 Work on A
1.Play the recording about students’ problems.
2.Ask students to listen carefully and complete the sentences.
3.Check the answers together and read the completed sentences aloud.
Step 3 Work on B
1.Present the model conversation between Millie and her mum.
2.Explain key expressions about talking about problems and giving advice.
3.Organize students to practise in pairs with their own problems.
4.Invite several pairs to act out their conversations and give feedback.
Step 4 Work on C
1.Ask students to think of more teenage problems and describe one example.
2.Let students share in class and write down typical problems on the blackboard.
Step 5 Summary and Homework
1.Summarize common teenage problems and useful expressions.
2.Assign homework:Write down 2-3 of your own problems and prepare for the next class.
