1.Xiao Li’s ________ (imagine) allowed her to draw the wonderful life there long ago.
2.The Longji Rice Terraces have a history of 2,300 years, which made Xiao Li feel truly ________ (amaze).
3.This ancient ring is extremely v________. It’s made of pure gold.
【答案】valuable/aluable
4.The ancient city was ________ (discover) by archaeologists in the 1920s.
5.Many historical mysteries remain ________ (solve) to this day.
With history as a ________, one can understand the ________ and fall of a state.
【答案】 mirror rise

We are not ________ of history. We are ________ by history.
【答案】 makers made

Those who cannot ________ the past are condemned to ________ it.
【答案】 remember repeat
