feed…to do sth.
on the Internet是固定搭配,意为“在互联网上”,on意为“在…… in意为“在……

Have you heard of stop-motion animation It is a special way to make pictures or objects look alive by taking many photos. Zhou Yufei has turned Hong Kong movie Kung Fu Hustle into a stop-motion animation. He used 90 toys and 130, 000 photos to make it happen!
Zhou’s “actors” are the toys he has collected for many years. He chose each toy to match a character in the movie. He also thought about how easily each toy could move.
A real movie usually runs at 24 frames (帧) a second. In stop-motion movies, each frame is one photo. To make one frame, Zhou had to move a toy’s legs and arms again and again. Because of this hard work, the whole project took him almost three years to finish.
The action scenes were the most demanding. Zhou wanted every fight move to look natural. To make the scenes smooth, he watched the original movie many times and listened carefully to the fight sounds. “When I heard a strong punch (拳), I thought about how the toy should move to match that sound,” he said.
After Zhou put his 90-minute animation online, more than 2, 000, 000 people watched it. This made him feel very proud and glad. He says he will keep making stop-motion animations so more people can enjoy his work.
29. How many photos did Zhou use to make Kung Fu Hustle look alive?
A. 24. B. 90. C. 130, 000. D. 2, 000, 000.

Is there another Earth in space? Are there other people like us out there? We have been looking for answers to these questions.
In many movies, people fight with aliens. But are there real aliens? Many scientists think there might be. So scientists have been searching for years to find clues, but they haven’t found anything yet. Some scientists think aliens might not want to contact us, but they could reply if we send them a message. So scientists send radio signals (信号) into space. They hope that one day, aliens will use their technology to answer. These scientists want to show that we are not the only ones in the universe.
But what if we get a call from aliens? Should we answer it? A famous scientist thought it might be dangerous. He said that aliens might come to take our things. But other scientists don’t think we need to worry. David Morrison said that if aliens can send a message from far away, they probably have solved all the problems we have — like not having enough food or resources. It might not be so dangerous to contact aliens.
Since 1992, scientists have found almost 1,900 planets outside our solar system. Some of these planets are like Earth. It’s possible that there’s smart life on them.
33. The writer starts the passage ________.
A. by showing a fact B. by giving an example

Dear John,
How’s everything going? I’m writing to share the results of our class discussion on astronauts’ life and work in space.
In the morning, astronauts exercise with special machines to stay healthy. Eating in space is interesting! Their food comes in special bags, and they need to hold them tightly to avoid floating away. Sleeping here is fun, too. They sleep in a sleeping bag tied to the wall! During work hours, they do experiments and sometimes go for spacewalks. After work, they read books or talk with their family through video call. Though they miss the Earth, the view of stars outside is amazing.
Their life here is busy but meaningful.
Yours,

30. What did Zhou consider when he chose toys for the animation?
A. Their production place. B. Their size and cost.
C. Their ability to move. D. Their value and popularity.
31. What does the underlined word “demanding” in Paragraph 4 probably mean?
A. Difficult. B. Famous. C. Successful. D. Popular.
32. Zhou is going to ________ in the future according to the last paragraph.
A. stop making animations for fun B. continue his work to bring people joy
C. make much more money online D. study more useful skills in movies

C. by asking questions D. by listing numbers

A. Aliens might be real out there. B. Aliens can reply to us by radio signals.
C. Aliens have already visited Earth. D. Aliens only live in movies.
