By learning about the evolution of movies from silent black-and-white films to modern complex productions, students develop an appreciation for technological and artistic progress. The lesson also highlights that "Chinese films make great contributions to Chinese culture," fostering cultural pride and encouraging students to value and support Chinese cinema.
