Step1 Lead‑in

1. Show the unit title “Know yourself”. Present the unit slogan: Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.

2. Brainstorm: Ask students: What words can you use to describe yourself?

3. Present the new words: creative, curious, energetic, modest, organized, patient. Students read and spell the words.

Step2 While‑class

Task1 Finish Part A

Students read the six sentences in Part A and fill in the blanks with proper adjectives.
