An American YouTuber named I Show Speed, who people often call “Jia kang Ge (甲亢哥)” because of his exciting live shows, visited China from March 24 to 28, 2025. He introduced modern China to his 37 million fans all over the world. The 20-year-old content creator went to Shanghai, Beijing, and Xi’an. His live broadcasts changed what many Western people think about China.
First, he went to Shanghai’s Pudong area. It looks really modern. He danced with old people in the parks by the water. He tried street food, like soup dumplings ordered on an app. He also tested Xiaomi’s SU7 Ultra electric car. The car has a very strong engine with 1,526 horsepower and it costs $70,000. He was really surprised. During a live show watched by 5.6 million people, he said again and again, “This is better than a Lamborghini!” People around the world saw that China’s streets are very clean and its transportation is really good.
Next, in Beijing, I Show Speed got to know Chinese culture. He wore colorful local clothes. On the Great Wall, he did a backflip and shouted, “This is real history!” He didn’t quite understand traditional fermented drinks. But he was happy to learn table tennis from the pop star Jackson Wang. He also really liked eating spicy hotpot. His live shows showed busy night markets and how friendly people are in China. People from other countries said, “Chinese cities seem safer than our cities.”
I Show Speed talked a lot about how good China’s technology is. When he took the bullet train to Xi’an, he was amazed because he could use 5G even in tunnels. He said, “In New York, you can’t even send texts on the subway!” His six-hour live show from Shanghai was in very clear 1440p resolution. This showed how advanced China’s Internet is. It surprised many people who didn’t believe what they saw in the media before.
This cultural exchange started many discussions around the world. Fans liked it when I Show Speed sang the popular Chinese song “Sunshine Rainbow White Horse” with local people. Some people thought these scenes were made up. But most people thought his reactions showed what life is really like in China. Chinese officials said this visit was “people-to-people diplomacy.” Foreign audiences said it showed the real China, without political opinions.
24.What was the main purpose of I Show Speed’s China visit?
A.To promote Chinese traditional culture
B.To challenge Western stereotypes about China
C.To test new technological products in China
D.To compete with local content creators
25.Why did I Show Speed’s live streams surprise many viewers?
A.They were pre - recorded and edited
B.They showed China’s advanced infrastructure
C.They focused only on urban areas

D.I Show Speed’s trip was a secret mission
27.Why did the author compare China’s bullet train with New York’s subway?

A lunch break is an important and often necessary part of our work or school days. And now we’re spoilt (惯坏的) with a lot of places to buy our lunch from, all offering attractive dishes and sandwiches to eat on the go.
But our appetite for buying food for our lunchtime is not just costing us money, there might be a cost in terms of damaging our planet too. Just grabbing a sandwich, potato chips and maybe a cake and coffee can produce at least four items of waste. Paper boxes, cups, wrappers and plastic knives and forks are all part of our disposable (一次性的) feast in addition to the food waste we create. Some experts say throwing away food, which produces methane (甲烷) as it becomes gradually destroyed, is a bigger cause of climate change than plastic waste.
But regardless of what causes the most damage, the solution, according to an environmental campaign group called Hubbub, is to eat packed lunches. Tessa Tricks from the group says, “People are saying that they are buying food to take out because life has got busier.” And she says people think they are being more efficient; but she argues that it’s usually healthier and cheaper to make your own lunch. It means you can eat the things you really want and make the quantity that you actually need.
Of course, preparing your lunch is another thing to fit into your morning hurry of getting ready for work, so if you haven’t got time and you are going to buy lunch, an alternative that Hubbub suggests is to take your own containers to a shop and ask them to put your food in it. The idea of using reusable coffee cups for hot drinks and refillable water bottles has already proved successful, so this could be another step in the right direction.
28.What is paragraph 2 mainly about?
A.Buying lunch costs a lot of money.
B.Eating fast food is harmful to health.
C.Buying lunch leads to environmental damage.
D.Making lunch saves our money and the planet.
29.What does Hubbub suggest doing in paragraph 3?
A.Eating whatever you want. B.Making lunch by yourself.
C.Stopping eating packed lunches. D.Trying to be more efficient in work.
30.What does the underlined word “this” in the last paragraph refer to?
A.Buying lunch. B.Using reusable coffee cups.
C.Taking your own containers. D.Using refillable water bottles.
31.What does the author call on us to do?
A.Make full use of lunchtime.
B.Eat properly to keep healthy.
C.Do what you can to reduce pollution.
D.Rethink our lunch habits to help our planet.

Driven by concerns over environmental sustainability, animal welfare, and personal health, many people are exploring alternatives to traditional farm-raised meat. Alternative meat (alt-meat) products, including lab-grown meat and plant-based substitutes, are made using innovative food technologies. While both offer environmental and ethical benefits, each faces distinct challenges related to health, cost, and scalability that must be addressed.
Farm-raised meat comes from livestock such as cows, pigs, and chickens. The UN Food and Agriculture Organization reports that livestock farming accounts for 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. It also requires enormous amounts of land and water, contributing to deforestation, habitat loss, and water shortages. As global meat demand continues to rise, these environmental problems are expected to worsen significantly.
Lab-grown meat is produced directly from animal cells, eliminating the need to raise and slaughter livestock. Studies show it could reduce emissions by up to 96%, land use by 99%, and water use by 96% compared to conventional meat. It can also be modified to have lower fat content or enriched with nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids. However, its long-term health effects remain unknown, requiring strict regulatory oversight from agencies like the FDA and EFSA.Additionally, while simple products like ground meat are already commercially viable (e.g., Israel’s first clean-meat restaurant opened in 2020), producing complex cuts like steak remains expensive and difficult to scale.
Plant-based products like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods closely mimic real meat. Production of a Beyond Burger generates 90% fewer emissions and uses 46% less energy than beef, and it contains no cholesterol, 40% less saturated fat, and similar protein levels. However, these products are highly processed. For example, an Impossible Burger contains 370mg of sodium versus 82mg in a beef burger, which may offset health benefits. They also lack key nutrients such as calcium, zinc, and vitamin B12. Moreover, extensive processing and additives can increase resource demand by up to 26%, reducing their environmental advantages.
Both types of alt-meat are more expensive than traditional meat — plant-based products cost roughly twice as much as beef per pound, largely due to high R&D costs. Despite this, their popularity is rising. A 2021 study in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems found that alt-meat offers new opportunities for farmers (e.g., supplying ingredients or genetic material) but also threatens the income of ranchers and feed-crop growers. Most producers believe alt-meat will complement, not replace, conventional meat, ultimately providing more market choices and supporting agricultural diversification rather than causing wholesale disruption.
32.According to the passage, what is one major challenge facing lab-grown meat?
A.It cannot be modified to improve nutritional content.
B.Its long-term health effects have not been fully established.
C.It produces more greenhouse gas emissions than farm-raised meat.
D.It has not yet been approved for commercial sale anywhere.
33.What does the author suggest about plant-based meat substitutes?
A.They are generally healthier than whole plant foods.
B.Their high sodium content may cancel out some health benefits.
C.They contain more saturated fat than beef burgers.
D.They are less processed than lab-grown meat.
34.What do most food producers believe about the future of alt-meat, according to the 2021 study?
A.It will completely replace traditional farm-raised meat.
B.It will only benefit large factory farms.
C.It will serve as a supplement rather than a replacement.
D.It will reduce the total demand for protein.
35.Which of the following is a common disadvantage shared by both lab-grown meat and plant-based substitutes?
A.Both require the slaughter of animals.
B.Both are described as costly to produce or scale up.
C.Both contain high levels of saturated fat.
D.Both have been proven to cause long-term health problems.

Could Listening to Music Be the Next Public Health Prescription?
In an age of constant stress and screen fatigue, a therapeutic alternative is playing from our headphones. When participants in a study at the University of Helsinki listened to classical music, their stress levels and cortisol (皮质醇) levels dropped significantly. 36
That music can lift our spirits has long been known. 37 A study by the University of Melbourne asked participants to listen to unfamiliar pieces while wearing monitors. Half of the group listened to original recordings, while the other half listened to slightly altered versions. The results were clear: listening to authentic music — rather than digital imitations — can reduce stress, improve mood, and even strengthen the immune system.
38 Earlier this year, a team of Cambridge psychologists conducted a similar study showing that actively engaging with music — not just playing it in the background — helps people escape the “mental burdens of daily life.” Additionally, a review published in Nature Medicine suggests that music can play a meaningful role in public health and wellness programs.
“When you experience a piece of music, you don’t just hear it — you feel it,” the musician and author Clemency Burton-Hill writes. “The best thing we can do is give it our full attention.” Attention, of course, is what we often lack in our fast-paced world. 39 We stop multitasking and start truly listening. Deep engagement with music creates “emotional distance” and allows us to find peace outside ourselves.
Today we are advised to exercise regularly and eat balanced meals. 40 After all, the evidence speaks for itself.
A.But that it can calm the body is a newer discovery.
B.So we should make music education more accessible.
C.There’s growing evidence to support that belief.
D.Music brings us into contact with human creativity.
E.But this may be exactly what makes music therapeutic.
F.Will doctors soon be prescribing a playlist for patients?
G.Science suggests that music is a medicine you can hear rather than swallow.

第二节(满分25分)
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
The twenty-year-old Rohan lived a quiet, dusty life in the village of Ambar, working in his uncle’s small spice (香料) shop. The spices smelled wonderful, but Rohan felt bored. His days followed the same path, leading nowhere new, and every morning felt like a copy of the day before. He had no big enough dreams to pursue.
One afternoon, when Rohan was tasked with cleaning the attic (阁楼) of his grandfather’s old house, he found a musical instrument, long and elegant. He recognized it immediately as a Sarod, an instrument of classical Indian music. It belonged to his grandfather, a man he couldn’t remember clearly. Rohan carefully wiped the dust away. He pulled a string (弦). It was a voice he had never heard, yet somehow understood perfectly. He also found an old, faded instruction book hidden inside the Sarod case. The lessons were complex and needed extreme patience.
His first attempts were terrible. His neighbors complained. His uncle laughed at him. But Rohan ignored them all. He decided he would learn to play. This sudden decision was unless anything he had felt before. The spark had been lit inside him. He spent his evenings practicing. He practiced in a hidden shed (棚屋) behind the house. He did not aim for perfection, but for daily practice.
He understood that mastery was not a single big leap, but a million tiny, repeated steps. Each day, he spent precisely one hour with the Sarod. His fingers hurt and his shoulders ached, but the one hour was very important. Slowly, the noise began to change. The rough sounds softened into notes. The notes organized themselves into short, sweet pieces of music.
The change in Rohan was obvious. He still weighed spices, but his step was lighter. His eyes, once dull, now looked focused. He had found his purpose, and it was not in the spice shop, but in the shed. One day, an old master musician, Shankar-ji, passed through Ambar on his way to the city.

A lunch break is an important and often necessary part of our work or school days. And now we're spoilt
(with a lot of places to buy our lunch from, all offering attractive dishes and sandwiches to eat on the go.
But our appetite for buying food for our lunchtime is not just costing us money, there might be a cost in
terms of damaging our planet too.Just grabbing a sandwich, potato chips and maybe a cake and coffee can
produce at least four items of waste.Paper boxes, cups, wrappers and plastic knives and forks are all part of our
disposable (feast in addition to the food waste we create. Some experts say throwing away food, which
produces methane (as it becomes gradually destroyed,is a bigger cause of climate change than plastic
waste.
But regardless of what causes the most damage, the solution, according to an environmental campaign
group called Hubbub,is to eat packed lunches.Tessa Tricks from the group says,People are saying that they are
buying food to take out because life has got busier."And she says people think they are being more efficient;but
she argues that it's usually healthier and cheaper to make your own lunch. It means you can eat the things you
really want and make the quantity that you actually need.
Of course, preparing your lunch is another thing to fit into your morning hurry of getting ready for work,so
if you haven't got time and you are going to buy lunch,an alternative that Hubbub suggests is to take your own
containers to a shop and ask them to put your food in it.The idea of using reusable coffee cups for hot drinks and
refillable water bottles has already proved successful,so this could be another step in the right direction.
28.What is paragraph 2 mainly about?
A.Buying lunch costs a lot of money.
B.Eating fast food is harmful to health.
C.Buying lunch leads to environmental damage.
D.Making lunch saves our money and the planet.

Driven by concerns over environmental sustainability, animal welfare, and personal health, many people are
exploring alternatives to traditional farm-raised meat.Alternative meat (alt-meat)products,including lab-grown
meat and plant-based substitutes, are made using innovative food technologies. While both offer environmental
and ethical benefits, each faces distinct challenges related to health, cost, and scalability that must be addressed.
Farm-raised meat comes from livestock such as cows, pigs, and chickens. The UN Food and Agriculture
Organization reports that livestock farming accounts for 14.5%of global greenhouse gas emissions. It also
requires enormous amounts of land and water, contributing to deforestation, habitat loss, and water shortages. As
global meat demand continues to rise, these environmental problems are expected to worsen significantly.
Lab-grown meat is produced directly from animal cells, eliminating the need to raise and slaughter
livestock.Studies show it could reduce emissions by up to 96%,land use by 99%,and water use by 96%
compared to conventional meat.It can also be modified to have lower fat content or enriched with nutrients like
omega-3 fatty acids. However, its long-term health effects remain unknown, requiring strict regulatory oversight
from agencies like the FDA and EFSA.Additionally, while simple products like ground meat are already
commercially viable (e.g.,Israel's first clean-meat restaurant opened in 2020),producing complex cuts like steak
remains expensive and difficult to scale
Plant-based products like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods closely mimic real meat.Production of a
Beyond Burger generates 90%fewer emissions and uses 46%less energy than beef, and it contains no cholesterol,
40%less saturated fat,and similar protein levels.However,these products are highly processed.For example,an
Impossible Burger contains 370mg of sodium versus 82mg in a beef burger, which may offset health benefits.
They also lack key nutrients such as calcium, zinc, and vitamin B12.Moreover,extensive processing and additives
can increase resource demand by up to 26%6,reducing their environmental advantages
试题第7页(共12页)
Both types of alt-meat are more expensive than traditional meat-plant-based products cost roughly twice
as much as beef per pound, largely due to high R&D costs.Despite this, their popularity is rising.A 2021 study in
Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems found that alt-meat offers new opportunities for farmers (e.g,supplying
ingredients or genetic material)but also threatens the income of ranchers and feed-crop growers. Most producers
believe alt-meat will complement, not replace, conventional meat, ultimately providing more market choices and
supporting agricultural diversification rather than causing wholesale disruption.
32.According to the passage, what is one major challenge facing lab-grown meat?
A.It cannot be modified to improve nutritional content.
B.Its long-term health effects have not been fully established.
张
C.It produces more greenhouse gas emissions than farm-raised meat.
D.It has notyet been approved for commercial sale anywhere.
33.What does the author suggest about plant-based meat substitutes?
A.They are generally healthier than whole plant foods.
游
B.Their high sodium content may cancel out some health benefits.
游
C.They contain more saturated fat than beef burgers.
D.They are less processed than lab-grown meat.
O
34.What do most food producers believe about the future of alt-meat,according to the 2021 study?
A.It will completely replace traditional farm-raised meat.
B.It will only benefit large factory farms.
C.It will serve as a supplement rather than a replacement.
D.It will reduce the total demand for protein.
35.Which of the following is a common disadvantage shared by both lab-grown meat and plant-based substitutes?
A.Both require the slaughter of animals.
些
…:
B.Both are described as costly to produce or scale up.
O
C.Both contain high levels of saturated fat.
D.Both have been proven to cause long-term health problems.

M: Thanks for having me.
W: So what’s one of the biggest changes in eating habits that you’ve found?
M: Well, I’d say that the biggest change is the amount of eating out nowadays.
W: I’d never really think of it, but of course, thinking of my parents and how often they were likely to eat out compared to me in my life, well, it’s a lot different.
M: Exactly. And then kids nowadays eat out even more often. Teenagers are eating a lot more fast food than we used to! Now, think of some of the effects of this change in habits.
W: I’d guess it probably isn’t all that good.
M: Yes. For example, there’s soda and soft drinks instead of milk. Twenty or twenty-five years ago, people — especially kids — drank a lot more milk. Nowadays, they drink about twice as much soda as they used to and a lot less milk.

It surprised many people who didn’t believe what they saw in the media before.
This cultural exchange started many discussions around the world. Fans liked it when I Show Speed sang the popular Chinese song “Sunshine Rainbow White Horse” with local people.
【答案】28.C 29.B 30.C 31.D
【导语】文章主要介绍了外购午餐会产生大量废弃物、破坏环境,并推荐自带便当或自备容器打包食物的环保午餐方式。
【详解】28.主旨大意题。根据第二段“But our appetite for buying food for our lunchtime is not just costing us money, there might be a cost in terms of damaging our planet too. (但是我们外购午餐的喜好不仅仅花费我们的金钱,还可能带来损害地球的代价。)”可知,第二段主要讲述外购午餐会造成环境破坏。
29.细节理解题。根据第三段“But regardless of what causes the most damage, the solution, according to an environmental campaign group called Hubbub, is to eat packed lunches. (但无论哪一类污染的破坏力最强,一个名为Hubbub的环保组织提出,解决办法就是自带便当。)”可知,Hubbub建议自己制作午餐。
30.词句猜测题。根据最后一段“Of course, preparing your lunch is another thing to fit into your morning hurry of getting ready for work, so if you haven’t got time and you are going to buy lunch, an alternative that Hubbub suggests is to take your own containers to a shop and ask them to put your food in it. The idea of using reusable coffee cups for hot drinks and refillable water bottles has already proved successful, so this could be another step in the right direction. (当然,在早上匆忙准备上班的间隙再准备午餐,又是一件麻烦事。所以如果你没时间、打算外购午餐,Hubbub推荐的替代方案是自带容器到商店,让店员把食物装进你的容器里。使用可重复利用咖啡杯盛装热饮、可循环补水水杯的做法已被证实可行,因此这会是朝着正确方向迈出的又一步。)”可知,代词this指代前文提到的“take your own containers”这一做法。
31.推理判断题。根据第三段“But regardless of what causes the most damage, the solution, according to an environmental campaign group called Hubbub, is to eat packed lunches. (但无论哪一类污染的破坏力最强,一个名为Hubbub的环保组织提出,解决办法就是自带便当。)”以及最后一段“Of course, preparing your lunch is another thing to fit into your morning hurry of getting ready for work, so if you haven’t got time and you are going to buy lunch, an alternative that Hubbub suggests is to take your own containers to a shop and ask them to put your food in it. (当然,在早上匆忙准备上班的间隙再准备午餐,又是一件麻烦事。所以如果你没时间、打算外购午餐,Hubbub推荐的替代方案是自带容器到商店,让店员把食物装进你的容器里。)”可知,作者倡导改变午餐习惯、减轻对地球的伤害,呼吁我们重新思考午餐习惯,保护地球。
D
根据第三段“However, its long-term health effects remain unknown, requiring strict regulatory oversight from agencies like the FDA and EFSA.(然而,其长期健康影响尚不明确,因此需要美国食品药品监督管理局(FDA)和欧洲食品安全局(EFSA)等机构进行严格监管。)”可知,实验室培育肉面临的一个主要挑战是其长期健康影响尚未完全确定。
33.推理判断题。根据倒数第二段“For example, an Impossible Burger contains 370mg of sodium versus 82mg in a beef burger, which may offset health benefits.(例如,Impossible汉堡中的钠含量为370毫克,而牛肉汉堡仅为82毫克,这可能抵消了其健康益处。)”可知,植物基肉类替代品的高钠含量可能抵消部分健康益处。
34.细节理解题。根据最后一段“Most producers believe alt-meat will complement, not replace, conventional meat, ultimately providing more market choices and supporting agricultural diversification rather than causing wholesale disruption.(大多数生产者认为,替代肉类将补充而非取代传统肉类,最终能提供更多市场选择,促进农业多样化,而不是造成大规模的颠覆。)”可知,大多数食品生产商认为替代肉将作为补充而非替代品。
35.细节理解题。根据文章第三段“Additionally, while simple products like ground meat are already commercially viable (e.g., Israel’s first clean-meat restaurant opened in 2020), producing complex cuts like steak remains expensive and difficult to scale.(此外,尽管碎肉这类简单产品已经具备商业可行性,例如以色列2020年就开设了第一家清洁肉餐厅,但生产牛排这类复杂的肉类产品成本仍然很高,且难以规模化)”以及第五段“Both types of alt-meat are more expensive than traditional meat — plant-based products cost roughly twice as much as beef per pound, largely due to high R&D costs.(两类替代肉都比传统肉类更贵,植物基产品每磅的成本大约是牛肉的两倍,这主要是因为高昂的研发成本)”可知,两类替代肉的共同缺点是生产或规模化的成本都很高。
第二节(共5小题, 每小题2. 5分, 共12. 5分)

【答案】36.A 37.C 38.G 39.E 40.F
【导语】文章主要讲述了科学研究表明听音乐能显著降低压力、改善情绪并增强免疫力,未来音乐或将成为一种非药物性的公共健康处方。
【详解】36.上文“When participants in a study at the University of Helsinki listened to classical music, their stress levels and cortisol levels dropped significantly.(在赫尔辛基大学的一项研究中,当参与者聆听古典音乐时,他们的压力水平和皮质醇水平显著下降)”说明实验数据证实音乐对身体的生理镇静作用。空后“That music can lift our spirits has long been known.(音乐能够提振精神这一点早已为人熟知)”说明音乐对精神的积极影响属于传统认知。空处起到转折过渡作用,强调音乐对身体层面的安抚作用是近期才被科学证实的新发现。选项A“But that it can calm the body is a newer discovery.(但它能安抚身体则是一个较新的发现)”中的“it”指代音乐,“calm the body”精准对应前文的生理数据,“newer discovery”与后文的“long been known”形成逻辑对比,符合语境。
37.上文“That music can lift our spirits has long been known.(音乐能够提振精神这一点早已为人熟知)”说明关于音乐益处的普遍观点已存在很久。空后“A study by the University of Melbourne asked participants to listen to unfamiliar pieces while wearing monitors.(墨尔本大学的一项研究要求参与者在佩戴监测仪的情况下聆听不熟悉的乐曲)”说明后文即将列举具体的科学实验作为实证。空处起到承上启下的作用,引出支持前文观点的科学证据。选项C“There’s growing evidence to support that belief.(越来越多的证据支持这一观点)”中的“that belief”指代前文“音乐能提振精神”,自然引出后文的实验案例,符合语境。
38.上文“The results were clear: listening to authentic music — rather than digital imitations — can reduce stress, improve mood, and even strengthen the immune system.(结果很明确:聆听原声音乐——而非数字仿制品——可以减轻压力、改善情绪,甚至增强免疫系统)”说明科学研究已证实音乐具有多重生理和心理疗效。空后“Earlier this year, a team of Cambridge psychologists conducted a similar study showing that actively engaging with music — not just playing it in the background — helps people escape the “mental burdens of daily life.” Additionally, a review published in Nature Medicine suggests that music can play a meaningful role in public health and wellness programs.(今年早些时候,剑桥的一支心理学家团队开展了一项类似的研究,表明主动参与音乐——而不仅仅是将音乐放在背景中播放——有助于人们摆脱“日常生活带来的心理负担”。此外,《自然医学》上发表的一篇综述指出,音乐在公共卫生和健康促进项目中可能发挥重要作用)”说明主动听音乐的好处,且音乐的价值已上升到公共健康层面。空处起到总结前文并升华主题的作用,将音乐的治疗效果比作药物。选项G“Science suggests that music is a medicine you can hear rather than swallow.(科学表明,音乐是一种可以“听”而非“吞服”的药物)”将音乐形象地比喻为药物,承接了前文的疗效描述,并引出后文的类似研究以及关于公共卫生处方的内容,符合语境。
39.上文“Attention, of course, is what we often lack in our fast-paced world.(当然,在这个快节奏的世界里,注意力是我们经常缺乏的东西)”说明现代人普遍存在的注意力缺失问题。 E“But this may be exactly what makes music therapeutic.(但这可能正是音乐具有治疗效果的原因)”中的“this”指代前文的“lack of attention”,解释了全神贯注于音乐正是其疗愈的关键机制,逻辑上连接了前后文,符合语境。
40.上文“Today we are advised to exercise regularly and eat balanced meals.(如今,我们被建议定期锻炼并均衡饮食)”说明当前社会主流的健康建议内容。空后“After all, the evidence speaks for itself.(毕竟,证据不言自明)”说明音乐疗法的科学证据已非常充分。空处起到类比延伸的作用,暗示音乐将像锻炼和饮食一样成为常规的健康处方。选项F“Will doctors soon be prescribing a playlist for patients?(医生们会很快开始给病人开“播放列表”处方吗?)”以设问形式呼应标题,将音乐与锻炼、饮食并列,预示其将成为未来的医疗手段,符合语境。

注意:
(1)续写词数应为150个左右;
(2)请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
When Shankar-ji passed the shed, he heard the sound.

Before leaving, Shankar-ji arranged a small concert in the village square.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
【答案】When Shankar‑ji passed the shed, he heard the sound. Attracted by the gentle flowing music, he stopped and listened closely. He was amazed that a young village boy could play the Sarod with such deep feeling. He knocked at the door gently. After watching Rohan play for a while, the master praised his steady progress and sincere love for music. Knowing Rohan practiced patiently day after day despite doubts from others, Shankar‑ji offered useful tips patiently and encouraged him to stick to his practice. Rohan’s heart was filled with joy and gratitude.
Before leaving, Shankar‑ji arranged a small concert in the village square. Villagers including Rohan’s uncle and his critical neighbours turned up. Nervous but confident, Rohan played the Sarod whole‑heartedly. Warm‑toned music spread across the square. Everyone fell silent and was deeply touched. His uncle felt ashamed of laughing at him before. Shankar‑ji told all people that steady daily efforts helped Rohan achieve this. From then on, Rohan kept practising, determined to devote himself to Indian classical music.

His uncle felt ashamed of laughing at him before. Shankar‑ji told all people that steady daily efforts helped Rohan achieve this. From then on, Rohan kept practising, determined to devote himself to Indian classical music.
