Step 2 Work on 1a 1.Ask students to look at the activities in 1a and tick the ones they did during the summer holidays.They can also add more activities. 2.Invite some students to share the answers,and explain why they chose certain activities. Step 3 Work on 1b-1c 1.Play the recording for the first time.Ask students to listen carefully and circle the holiday activities they hear in 1a. 2.Check the answers and play the recording again for students to listen and repeat the sentences. 3.Play the recording once more.This time,ask students to complete the two summaries while listening. 4.Check the answers together and explain some difficult language points. Step 4 Work on 1d 1.Let students work in pairs.Let them talk about Yaming’s and Emma’s holidays. 2.Invite several pairs to act out their conversations in front of the class.
