“It was very creative... him to...”符合固定句型“It is/was + adj. + of/for + sb.”
“...of courage and wisdom.”

Unit 2 Inspiring People tells us stories of people worth admiring. These great people include historians, chemists, physicists and many other pioneers. Many years ago, lots of children suffered from terrible hunger. They had to drop 1 school and could not receive basic education.
Some brave pioneers made great efforts to change the hard situation. A British chemist carried out thousands of experiments. His important discovery stopped the spread of a terrible disease across the whole nation. Many wounded soldiers and poor villagers got saved because of his research.
Most of these admirable people never cared about their own comfort. They travelled far to airports and remote regions to do research. Their stories spread from one town 2 another, and all local people spoke highly of them. We should look up 3 them and learn their strong spirits.
A historian once wrote books recording these pioneers’ stories. He used old calendars and ancient records to bring true facts back to people. It took him over half a century 4 finish all his writing work. He said all inspiring people share one point: they never give up facing difficulties.
Hunger and disease used to trouble common people deeply. Today, thanks to those early pioneers, our living conditions have become much better. We should keep their spirits 5 mind and pass them down forever.
Every time we read their life stories, we will feel full of courage and wisdom. These admirable people set good examples for teenagers. When we meet trouble in study or life, we can think of their experiences 6 cheer ourselves up.
No matter what jobs they did, historians, chemists or physicists, they all made great contributions 7 our country. Their spirits will not disappear as time goes by. Instead, they will live 8 in people’s hearts century after century.
We are lucky to live in a world with these inspiring role models. We do not need to face serious hunger or terrible diseases like people in the past. 9 , we still need to carry on the pioneers’ spirits and try our best to become useful people of the nation.
If we hold on to our dreams and keep working hard, we can also become someone admirable 10 the future.
