IX.Teaching Reflection
Most teaching objectives are achieved with rich classroom activities. The chant and matching games help students master new vocabulary effectively, and the guessing pair work greatly improves students’ speaking confidence. However, some students still struggle with the pronunciation of hard-working and cannot tell the difference between nice and kind.More targeted phonics drills will be arranged in the follow-up class.A few shy students need more sentence frames for support. The writing activity takes slightly more time than expected.Next time I will optimize the time allocation and further guide students to respect everyone’s unique personalities.
