B. 高考应用文写作(参考范文):
Last term I failed to make the school debate team, which was a real disappointment. For several days I wanted to stop practising, but a teacher encouraged me to analyse the feedback carefully. I began recording my speeches, working on weak points and asking classmates for honest comments. Two months later I entered another competition and performed much better. The experience taught me that rejection is not a final judgement. If we keep learning from mistakes, a setback can become the beginning of real progress.
