A 19-metre sperm whale(抹香鲸) has been saved in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, after getting beached(搁浅的)during low tide(潮水).
The whale was first noticed by some fishermen who called the local government. A 200-person team was organized quickly to save the whale.
In order to keep the whale alive until high tide, the team had to make sure it was covered with water. Rescuers(救援人员) kept pouring water onto the whale to keep it wet. They also put medicine to the injured(受伤的)part. At high tide, the whale was connected to several boats by rope and it was gently pulled back into the sea. By midnight, the whale was at a depth of nine metres in the sea. The safe water depth for whales of this size should be deeper than 20 metres. The rescue work ended the next morning after 21 hours.
“Saving a beached whale is the most impressive experience,” said Wang Liangliang, a member from the Ningbo Yuren Rescue Centre.“Watching such a huge animal become safe in the sea made me feel so proud,” he said.
“A 19-metre sperm whale is already in its old age. And it's unusual for a sperm whale to get beached. There may be something wrong with its body,” said an expert(专家).

Have you ever wondered what kind of person you are? These days, a fun personality test called SBTI has become popular among teenagers. As a matter of fact, many such personality tests have appeared(出现) lately, like MBTI.(1) Perhaps they can. Here are the benefits of these tests.
Understand others better.
After taking personality tests and knowing the results, we can understand why people act differently in the same situation. This is important because we all have different ways of seeing the world.(2) Instead, our differences make us special, and everyone's special ideas can make our life more colourful.
Know our likes and dislikes.
Maybe we've always hated talking on the phone, but never knew why.(3) By showing our personality traits(特征), they help us see whether we are outgoing or quiet, and whether we prefer to think deeply or easily follow our feelings. This helps us understand why we love some things and hate others.
(4)
Our personality helps shape our habits and decisions. When we know ourselves well, we can face challenges in smarter ways. We can solve problems more easily and learn to relax when we are under stress(承受压力).
(5) Personality tests can give us useful advice, but they cannot decide who we are. Only when we use them in a right way can they truly help us.
A. Face difficulties more wisely.
B. Make more friends easily.
C. No personality type is“better” than another.
