Oral Communication Activity 1(改编)
Part 1: Noodles are one of the best-known traditional foods in China. Records show that people were eating them during the Han Dynasty, but no single person can be named as the first inventor. Their long history and many local styles have made them popular around the world.
Part 2: In Britain, Sir Rowland Hill suggested a new way to pay for sending letters. The first postage stamp was invented by Sir Rowland Hill in Britain in 1837. It made communication simpler and later gave rise to the hobby of stamp collecting.
七、写作参考
My Small Invention
Books are sometimes damaged when a drink falls over on a school desk. To solve this problem, our group designed a CupGuard. It is made of recycled plastic and rubber. First, the shape was drawn on paper. Then a ring was fixed to the side of a small desk mat. During testing, a large bottle did not fit, so the ring was widened. A low edge was also added to collect water. The CupGuard is light, safe and easy to carry. More importantly, it reminds us that a useful idea often begins with a small daily problem.
