Now, thousands of tourists walk or ride bikes along the wall every year. They enjoy the ancient buildings and look back on old times. Historians also come here to study city life in the Ming Dynasty.

All the videos and photos are kept in an online digital museum. Anyone can visit it for free. The volunteers hope teenagers will look back on their local culture and feel proud of their hometown.

The memory I will keep forever
When I look back on my junior school life, one memory always warms my heart.
Last year, I failed an important exam and felt really upset. My teacher talked with me patiently. She told me not to give up and encouraged me to keep trying.
With her help, I made a study plan and worked harder. Months later, I made great progress.
Time is passing by fast, but I will keep this memory forever. It teaches me never to lose hope when facing difficulties.
