Dear Confused Mum,
I've learned from your letter that your daughter now talks to her friends instead of asking you for advice.I understand that you feel confused and frustrated.
Why not see this change from a different angle? It actually shows your daughter’s independence to make her own decisions. This is a good thing. What's more I recommend that you should try to talk with your daughter about her school life and her choices first. Maybe she doesn't ask for you advice because she doesn't think you're interested in it. I do hope you will find these suggestions helpful.
Best regards,
Talking Teens
