Paper-cut, with a history of over 1,500 years, is a special kind of Chinese art. In Chinese culture, people think the tiger is brave and powerful. Let’s make a beautiful paper-cut tiger together!
What you need:
* A pencil * A ruler * Scissors
* Brush and glue * A4 white paper * A4 background card
How to do:
1. Draw a simple outline (轮廓) of a tiger body on paper to fill about half an A4 paper. Then cut it out.
2. Fold the body in half, then in half again. Cut some thin triangles across the folded edges (边缘). Keep the cuts to the middle area of the paper.
3. Carefully open out the paper and flatten (压平) the folds. Now you have the stripes (条纹) for the body. Next, make small stripes along the legs.
4. Cut out a 12cm*10cm rectangle from the left-over paper. Fold it in half, draw half a head then cut it out. Cut out a curled tail.

Last term, some firefighters came to our school and talked to us about something important: Fire safety!
The firefighters told us all about how fires start and what we can do to stop them. They also told us the most important thing in the middle of a fire was to stay low to the ground and crawl (爬行) to the nearest door. Later they taught us how to use a fire extinguisher (灭火器) and call for help.
At the end of the visit, the firefighters gave us a test to see how much we learnt. Several weeks later, we had a fire drill (消防演习) at school. The alarm (警报) went off, and we had to leave our classroom quickly. At first, I felt a little nervous, but I remembered everything the firefighters taught us. I stayed low to the ground, crawled to the door and got outside. After the drill, our teacher told us that all the safety rules we learnt are there to protect us and that we must take them seriously.
Now, whenever I hear the sound of a fire alarm, instead of being nervous, I feel prepared. To me, fire safety is not just a school lesson for a young student. Instead, it’s a lifelong skill that will always keep me safe.

Does the Dead Sea sound like a place to go swimming? What do you expect (期待) to see in it? Do you believe there are dead things in the Dead Sea?
Lying in southwest Asia, the Dead Sea stretches (绵延) for about 80 kilometers. At its deepest point, it is about 400 meters deep. And if you happen to be in the area, you might hear people call it by another name, such as the Salt Sea, the East Sea, or the Sea of the Plain.
Even though it’s called the Dead Sea, it isn’t a sea at all! It’s a lake. Different from other lakes you have seen, the Dead Sea is a very salty lake. In fact, the Dead Sea is one of the saltiest water in the world. Nothing can live in it. That’s why it’s called the Dead Sea. And the Dead Sea stays very salty because it gets only a little rain, and very little fresh water gets into the Dead Sea each year.
________ The Dead Sea is an amazing place to visit, and many people go to the Dead Sea each year on holiday. Because of its high salinity (盐度), the Dead Sea’s waters are denser (密度大的) than ocean water or the water in a swimming pool. That means that anyone can float (漂浮) in the Dead Sea. So if you walk on the beach of the Dead Sea on a warm day, perhaps you can see many people floating in its waters. You might even see many of them reading books or magazines!

jump out of my car

根据文章“three teenagers... came first”,可知之后更多人到达现场。
before在……
根据常识,海豚被救回后stay in the water“水”里。
agreed with同意,dealt with处理,paid for支付,均语义不符。
