B Waking up to the quiet that morning, I felt a bit of emptiness. My daughter had graduated from college and moved out from our home in Naperville, Illinois. My son had just gotten married. At first, I’d appreciated the peace and quiet. Now, though, I woke fresh and well rested for too many days in a row. I wanted to greet the mornings with a real purpose in mind. Why not turn that spare room into a guest room? My daughter-in-law had given me a green silk bedspread that came from Shanghai in her home country China. I laid it on the new bed. I painted the walls and sewed a set of curtains. In a few months, the spare room was transformed. Someone, someday, would feel mighty welcome in my guest room. Who? When? I had no idea. One day, I drove to North Central College on personal business. I pictured my newly transformed guest room with its deep green silk bedspread. A bedspread that came all the way from Shanghai. That gave me an idea: Why not offer my guest room to international students while the dorms were closed? I left my name at the school’s international office. I was surprised at how quickly I got a call from the director of Friendship Families. Volunteers from the community signed up to be matched with foreign students who needed help navigating their new world. I was paired up with Mamie, a shy newly-arrived British student. And this was where my journey as a volunteer began. In the following days, I did all I could to make her feel at home in Illinois. I was touched when Mamie presented me with a card on Mother’s Day. “To my inspiration, ” it said. “Love, Mamie. ” It turned out that Mamie was only the first of several international students who brightened my life. Visiting angels from around the world! Preparing for company prepared my heart for the job: to welcome guests from near and far, for however long they needed. 24. What troubled the author? A. Quiet neighborhood. B. A drop in guests. C. Children’s absence. D. A lack of life goals. 25. What motivated the author to offer her guest room to international students? A. Her visit to a college. B. The thought of the silk bedspread. C. The closure of school dorms. D. Her sympathy for foreign students. 26. Why does the author refer to the students as angels? A. They lit up her life. B. They built up her confidence. C. They offered her presents. D. They taught her foreign cultures. 27. Which can be a suitable title for the text? A. The Guest Room B. A Volunteer Job C. The Empty-nest Days D. A Mother’s Day Card C For decades, teaching a robot to play the piano has always meant programming it first. Every note was mapped out, every finger position specified in advance. The machine doesn’t listen — it follows orders. That assumption is now harder to maintain. Developed by researchers from the University of Southern California (USC), a robotic hand called “Musician Hand” randomly pressed piano keys for two minutes, then listened to an unfamiliar tune and played it back on the first attempt. The Musician Hand learns through a method called “motor babbling”, which refers to the trial-and-error way babies use to figure out their own arms and legs. During the two-minute self-exploration, the four-fingered robotic hand pressed piano keys randomly, recording every sound and the corresponding finger movements. Its fingers are driven by small electric motors and flexible cords (索线) , just like how human fingers work. With the collected data, intelligent networks can interpret a new tune and translate it into the motor commands needed to reproduce it. Then, the team set up a blind test. The Musician Hand played tunes alongside four trained pianists and five beginners. Two professional music judges were asked to tell them apart. The robot held its own against the trained players and clearly outdid the beginners. Sometimes the judges could not distinguish its performance from that of humans. Engineers build most robots on a simple assumption: a machine needs near-perfect information about itself and its surroundings to act well. Azadjou’s team rejects it. “Living things do fine without perfect information — they sense, make a good guess, and adapt on the fly, ” Azadjou notes. The team calls this approach perceptual technology, where a machine perceives, experiments, and corrects itself instead of leaning on extensive training. The same idea could reach well beyond music. For patients with Parkinson’s disease, a wearable robotic suit based on this technology can learn their unique movement habits and help them move naturally as the disease advances. “The same approach, ” Azadjou says, “could one day help a stroke patient regain hand function, cooperate with a construction worker or help an elderly person stay safely at home. Although it remains a model, robots can learn you. ” 28. How does a traditional robot learn to play the piano? A. It listens actively. B. It draws maps. C. It practices repeatedly. D. It obeys commands. 29. What aspect of the robot is paragraph 2 mainly about? A. Its physical structure. B. Its self-learning process. C. Its intelligent network. D. Its sound-to-movement principle. 30. Why did the team conduct a blind test on the robot? A. To promote it on the market. B. To improve its performance. C. To see how good it really was. D. To show how it worked with pianists. 31. What does Azadjou say about the technology? A. It’s mature. B. It’s booming. C. It’s complex. D. It’s promising. D You walk into a clothing store and spot a leather coat marked $1,800. You immediately label it extremely pricey and move on. Later that day, you find an identical coat on sale for $650, and you instantly think you have found an incredible steal. What you may not realize is that your judgment has been misled by the anchoring bias The anchoring bias was first identified by psychologists Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky in their research on intuitive (直觉的) reasoning. It describes the human tendency to rely heavily on the first piece of information we encounter — called an anchor — and evaluate every subsequent detail against that fixed reference point. Consider bargaining for a second-hand vehicle. If a seller opens with a high asking price, that number becomes your mental anchor. Even if you negotiate the price far lower, you will still view the final deal as a win compared to the original figure, ignoring the car’s true market value. The opposite holds true: A surprisingly low initial offer causes the seller to undervalue their own property. This trap does not only appear in shopping; it influences salary negotiations, exam score judgments, and even predictions about global statistics. The bias exists because human brains naturally conserve mental energy. Recalculating value requires heavy cognitive (认知的) effort, so we automatically lean on the first available reference point rather than conducting fully independent analysis. When we are setting plans or making estimates about something, we interpret newer information from the reference point of our anchor instead of seeing it objectively. This can affect our judgment and prevent us from updating our plans or predictions as much as we should. Avoiding the anchoring bias entirely isn’t possible, given its widespread impact and how powerful it is. Like all cognitive biases, the anchoring bias is subconscious, meaning it’s difficult to interrupt. Yet one evidence-based and straightforward strategy to fight against the anchoring bias is to come up with reasons why that anchor is inappropriate for the situation. Meanwhile, considering multiple options is always a good idea to aid in decision-making. 32. What do the underlined words “an incredible steal” in paragraph 1 mean? A. A real bargain. B. A free item. C. An identical product. D. An unexpected gift. 33. Why is the second-hand vehicle deal mentioned in paragraph 3? A. To explain a rule. B. To present a fact. C. To illustrate a concept. D. To make a comparison. 34. What is the cause of the anchoring bias? A. Reference point loss. B. Independent analysis. C. Brain’s energy-saving nature. D. Brain’s heavy burden. 35. What is a good way to deal with the anchoring bias? A. Ignoring its reasons. B. Weighing various choices. C. Seeking its impacts. D. Interrupting subconscious thoughts. Reading comes in two forms. The first skims the surface: You follow the plot and end up knowing roughly what takes place. The second, however, takes you elsewhere entirely — the page fades away and you emerge from the book with novel ideas or feelings. ____36____ It requires bringing your cognitive resources entirely to a text and involves complex reasoning and emotional response. However, deep reading is becoming rarer today. A decade of smartphones has reshaped our attention habits, leaving our “reading muscles” worn out far more readily. ____37____ Like any other practice, it can be rebuilt through deliberate steps and the right environment. To reclaim this ability, the environment matters most. ____38____ Studies show that the mere presence of a smartphone reduces cognitive capacity because the brain wastes energy monitoring the possibility of a message. The ideal reading environment should be quiet and tidy, making the book the most interesting thing available. You should also choose books that reward deep attention. Books suitable for deep reading have common features: multi-layered writing, progressive ideas and complex characters that offer new insights on rereading. ____39____ These “resistant” texts, which force you to re-read sentences, offer the greatest benefits for your attention. ____40____ It is about preserving and developing a form of attention that enriches every part of life. That attention is worth protecting, and worth working to recover if it has been lost. The path back is not complicated: By putting the phone away and sitting with a worthy book, we can regain this vital capacity. A. It is an active process involving your full mind. B. You should be comfortable enough to remain focused. C. The single most effective step is to remove your phone. D. Deep reading is not primarily about reading more books. E. Fortunately, this decline in focus is not a permanent state. F. Literary fiction and philosophy typically show such qualities. G. Digital reading habits are often in tension with deep reading. As part of my New Year’s resolution, I decided it was time to get my driver’s license. When I finally sat in the driver’s seat last week, my ____43____ asked if I had ever driven before. I admitted this was my first time. Saying it out felt ____44____ , like admitting I couldn’t ride a bike. I imagined people ____45____ me, wondering why I hadn’t done this sooner. What started as anxiety about not being able to drive ____46____ anxiety about everything else, like not having moved out of my parents’ house yet and not having travelled to countless countries. Suddenly, all my quiet ____47____ resurfaced. Of course, ____48____ reasons delayed my learning. Living in a city with convenient public transport, the cost of lessons, and the expense of owning a car all ____49____ careful planning before booking my first lesson. ____50____, there was always that annoying voice reminding me that I “should” have already done it. As I continue learning to drive and improving with each lesson, I realise that driving, like many achievements, doesn’t come with a rigid ____51____. It’s just a milestone reached when it’s most ____52____. He parked his car by the trailhead near Canyon Lake and started hiking. Accustomed to hiking the shaded, cooler trails near his home, Colt was undone by the intense heat of Arizona’s exposed sun. After five hours, he found himself lost and out of water. Lightheaded, he texted his wife, “I need help. ” But his text didn’t go through; his phone had no service. Colt ate his soft fruit candies bite by bite, fearing they would be his last meal. He thought of his wife and their daughter, hoping that he would get to see them again. Desperate, he fired for help from the signal gun he carried to scare off bears — a final call for help. The sound carried across the rocks to Zeto, a 57-year-old retired firefighter, enjoying his new hobby — hiking mountain trails in Arizona. He knew target practice was banned there, so he thought the pair of shots might be someone shooting at an animal. But when he heard another pair about half an hour later, Zeto’s instincts (本能) , polished over 30 years responding to calls for help, told him the repeated shots must be a signal for help. On previous hikes, Zeto had come across other hikers in need. There was a man who fell and bloodied his head, a woman who broke her leg. As a result, he’d started carrying extra supplies in case others needed help. He hiked in the direction of the shots, and about 45 minutes later, climbing over a hill, he came across Colt, lying on his side. He could tell that Colt was confused, lost and in rough shape. Zeto knew he must take action quickly. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After almost three tiring hours, they finally made it to Colt’s car. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 试卷类型:A 高二下学期学业质量评价 英语试题 注意事项: 1. How does the woman feel about robot-run shops? If you ever travel to the far north, you might be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. Even though I have traveled to many places, they still take my breath away. My followers all know I’ve shared all kinds of travel tips online. So, trust the advice of an expert. Don’t miss this! At first, they look like green clouds that appear in the night sky. Then the lights begin to move like the wind and shine as they shift. They change color in waves of green, purple, and even red. To see them, you can travel to European countries like Finland, Sweden, and Norway, or witness this wonder in Alaska, USA, just as I did. Usually, people visit remote areas with no artificial light or tall buildings, and stand in silence, watching the sky. I heard from a local guide, in ancient times, people believed the lights were messages from sky spirits. Today, even though we know what causes them, we are still left with a sense of wonder. Seeing them reminds us how small we are and how amazing the natural world can be. A On-Campus Housing Application Guide for Incoming Students Securing comfortable on-campus accommodation is a top priority for your first year. A Mother’s Day Card 【答案】24. D 25. B 26. A 27. 根据第一段中的“Waking up to the quiet that morning, I felt a bit of emptiness. 根据第三段中的“I pictured my newly transformed guest room with its deep green silk bedspread. A bedspread that came all the way from Shanghai. That gave me an idea: Why not offer my guest room to international students while the dorms were closed? I left my name at the school’s international office. (我想象着刚翻新好的客房,铺着深绿色丝绸床罩。这床罩是从上海运来的。这让我心生一个主意:宿舍关闭期间,何不把我的客房提供给留学生住?我去学校国际办公室登记了我的名字。)”可知,作者想到这条丝绸床罩,从而萌生了将客房提供给留学生居住的想法。 【26题详解】 细节理解题。根据第五段中的“It turned out that Mamie was only the first of several international students who brightened my life. Visiting angels from around the world!(事实证明,玛米只是众多点亮我生活的留学生中的第一位,他们是来自世界各地到访的天使!)” 通读全文,尤其是尾段中的“Preparing for company prepared my heart for the job: to welcome guests from near and far, for however long they needed.(为迎接访客做准备的过程,让我在心态上做好了承担这项工作的准备,迎接来自各地的宾客,无论他们需要停留多久。)” C For decades, teaching a robot to play the piano has always meant programming it first. D 29. B 30. C 31. 根据第一段中的“For decades, teaching a robot to play the piano has always meant programming it first. Every note was mapped out, every finger position specified in advance. The machine doesn’t listen — it follows orders.(几十年来,教机器人弹钢琴一直意味着先对其编程。每个音符都被预先规划,每个手指位置都被提前设定。机器不会倾听,只会服从指令。)”可知,传统机器人依靠预设程序、服从指令来弹奏钢琴。 【29题详解】 主旨大意题。根据第二段中的“The Musician Hand learns through a method called “motor babbling” , which refers to the trial-and-error way babies use to figure out their own arms and legs. During the two-minute self-exploration, the four-fingered robotic hand pressed piano keys randomly, recording every sound and the corresponding finger movements...With the collected data, intelligent networks can interpret a new tune and translate it into the motor commands needed to reproduce it.(“音乐家之手”通过一种名为“运动咿呀学语”的方式学习,该方式指婴儿摸清自己四肢时采用的反复试错模式。在两分钟的自我探索过程中,这只四指机械手随机按压钢琴琴键,记录下每一个声响以及对应的手指动作……利用收集到的数据,智能网络可以理解一首新曲子,并将其翻译成再现它所需的电机命令。)”可知,本段主要介绍新型机器人的自我学习方式与学习过程。 【30题详解】 推理判断题。根据第三段中的“The robot held its own against the trained players and clearly outdid the beginners. Sometimes the judges could not distinguish its performance from that of humans.(该机器人的演奏水平不输专业演奏者,且明显优于新手,有时评委无法区分它与人类的演奏。)” 根据第五段中的“The same idea could reach well beyond music. For patients with Parkinson’s disease, a wearable robotic suit based on this technology can learn their unique movement habits and help them move naturally as the disease advances. “The same approach, ” Azadjou says, “could one day help a stroke patient regain hand function, cooperate with a construction worker or help an elderly person stay safely at home.(相同的理念能够远远延伸到音乐之外。对于患有帕金森病的病人,一套基于这项技术的可穿戴机器人套装可以学习他们独特的运动习惯,并在病情加重时帮助他们自然活动。“同一套方法,”阿扎杜说道,“有朝一日能够帮助中风病人重获手部功能、配合建筑工人工作,或是帮助老年人安全居家。”)”可知,该技术应用范围广泛、未来潜力巨大,发展前景十分可观。 D You walk into a clothing store and spot a leather coat marked $1,800. You immediately label it extremely pricey and move on. Later that day, you find an identical coat on sale for $650, and you instantly think you have found an incredible steal. What you may not realize is that your judgment has been misled by the anchoring bias (锚定偏见). The anchoring bias was first identified by psychologists Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky in their research on intuitive (直觉的) reasoning. 【答案】32. A 33. C 34. C 35. B 【解析】 【导语】主要介绍心理学中的锚定偏见概念、生活表现、形成原因,以及人们可以采取的应对方法与改进策略。 【32题详解】 词句猜测题。根据第一段中的“You immediately label it extremely pricey and move on. Later that day, you find an identical coat on sale for $650, and you instantly think you have found an incredible steal.(你立刻认为它极其昂贵并转身离开。当天晚些时候,你发现一件一模一样的外套售价650美元,你立刻觉得自己捡到了天大的便宜。)”可知,对比一千八百美元的原价,六百五十美元的同款外套价格十分优惠,因此“an incredible steal”指代物美价廉的划算交易。 【33题详解】 推理判断题。根据第三段中的“If a seller opens with a high asking price, that number becomes your mental anchor. Even if you negotiate the price far lower, you will still view the final deal as a win compared to the original figure, ignoring the car’s true market value.(如果卖家以高价开价,这个数字就会成为你的心理锚点。即便你把价格谈低了很多,相较于最初的价格,你依旧会认为最终交易很划算,忽略了汽车真实的市场价值。)”可知,作者列举二手车议价的例子,是为了具体阐释锚定偏见这一抽象概念。 【34题详解】 细节理解题。根据第四段中的“The bias exists because human brains naturally conserve mental energy. Recalculating value requires heavy cognitive (认知的) effort, so we automatically lean on the first available reference point rather than conducting fully independent analysis.(这种偏见之所以存在,是因为人类大脑会本能节省脑力。重新估算价值需要耗费大量认知精力,因此我们会下意识依靠最先出现的参照标准,而非开展完全独立的分析。)”可知,锚定偏见产生的根源是大脑节省脑力的本能特性。 【35题详解】 细节理解题。根据第五段中的“Yet one evidence-based and straightforward strategy to fight against the anchoring bias is to come up with reasons why that anchor is inappropriate for the situation. Meanwhile, considering multiple options is always a good idea to aid in decision-making.(然而,一种有据可依且简单直接的对抗锚定偏见的策略是,找出该锚定值不适用于当下情形的各类理由。与此同时,多考量几种备选方案始终是助力决策的好办法。)”可知,权衡、考量多种选择是应对锚定偏见的有效方式。 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项,选项中有两项为多余选项。 Reading comes in two forms. 【答案】36. A 37. E 38. C 39. F 40. D 【解析】 【导语】本文介绍浅层阅读与深度阅读的区别,分析深度阅读退化的原因,并给出恢复深度阅读能力的有效方法与意义。 【36题详解】 根据空前的“The second, however, takes you elsewhere entirely — the page fades away and you emerge from the book with novel ideas or feelings.(然而第二种阅读完全带你进入另一个境界:书页逐渐淡出视野,你合上书后收获全新的想法与感悟。)”以及空后的“It requires bringing your cognitive resources entirely to a text and involves complex reasoning and emotional response.(它需要你将全部认知资源投入文本,包含复杂的推理与情感反应。)”可知,此空需要承接上文介绍第二种深度阅读的本质特点。A选项“It is an active process involving your full mind (它是一个调动全部思维的主动过程)”中的 It 指代深度阅读,精准概括深度阅读的属性,衔接后文对深度阅读的具体要求,符合语境。 【37题详解】 根据空前的“A decade of smartphones has reshaped our attention habits, leaving our “reading muscles” worn out far more readily.(十年的智能手机使用重塑了我们的注意力习惯,让我们的阅读专注力更容易疲惫衰退。)”以及空后的“Like any other practice, it can be rebuilt through deliberate steps and the right environment.(和其他练习一样,它可以通过刻意训练与合适的环境重新培养。)”可知,前文提出专注力下降的问题,后文说明可以恢复,此空需要进行转折过渡。E选项“Fortunately, this decline in focus is not a permanent state (幸运的是,这种专注力下降并非永久状态)”中的 this decline in focus 指代前文阅读专注力衰退,转折引出后文可恢复训练的内容,符合语境。 【38题详解】 根据空前的“To reclaim this ability, the environment matters most.(想要重拾这项能力,环境至关重要。)”以及空后的“Studies show that the mere presence of a smartphone reduces cognitive capacity because the brain wastes energy monitoring the possibility of a message.(研究表明,仅仅是手机的存在就会降低认知能力,因为大脑会耗费精力留意消息提醒。)”可知,本段核心是营造良好阅读环境、远离手机干扰。C选项“The single most effective step is to remove your phone (最有效的办法就是移开你的手机)”点明打造阅读环境的核心举措,引出后文手机干扰专注力的科学依据,符合语境。 【39题详解】 根据空前的“Books suitable for deep reading have common features: multi-layered writing, progressive ideas and complex characters that offer new insights on rereading.(适合深度阅读的书籍具备共性:多层次的文笔、层层递进的思想、丰富的人物,重读能收获新感悟。)”以及空后的“These “resistant” texts, which force you to re-read sentences, offer the greatest benefits for your attention.(这些需要反复品读的文本,能最大程度锻炼专注力。)”可知,此空需要举例说明具备上述特征的书籍类型。F选项“Literary fiction and philosophy typically show such qualities (文学小说和哲学书籍通常具备这些特质)”中的 such qualities 指代前文适合深度阅读的书籍特征,承接上文、呼应后文优质文本的作用,符合语境。 【40题详解】 根据空后的“It is about preserving and developing a form of attention that enriches every part of life.(它的意义在于守护和培养一种丰富生活各方面的专注力。)”可知,本段阐述深度阅读的真正意义,并非单纯增加阅读量。D选项“Deep reading is not primarily about reading more books (深度阅读的核心并非读更多的书)”总领本段主旨,否定浅层认知,引出后文深度阅读的真正价值,符合语境。 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每小题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 As part of my New Year’s resolution, I decided it was time to get my driver’s license. One path is straight but blocked by piles of stones. The other lies smooth yet with many twists and turns. These two paths stand for different choices we encounter in life. The experience of J. K. Rowling perfectly illustrates this picture. She once longed to get her novel published at once, only to receive numerous rejection letters — much like the rocky straight road. Instead of giving up, she committed herself to the winding path with no visible success, polishing her writing tirelessly. Eventually Harry Potter won worldwide fame. Seldom does life offer us a trouble-free path. As long as we students confront setbacks fearlessly, we are bound to live a fulfilling life. 【解析】 【导语】本篇书面表达要求考生结合所给图片写一篇短文,参加校英文报正在举办主题为“A Reflection on Life’s Path”的征文活动,内容包括描述图片内容并联系事例谈谈感想。 【详解】1. 词汇积累 代表:stand for → represent 渴望:long to do → yearn to do 名气,声誉:fame → renown 挫折:setbacks → adversities 2. 句式拓展 同义句改写 原句:The other lies smooth yet with many twists and turns. 拓展句:The other, which lies smooth, is yet with many twists and turns. 【点睛】【高分句型1】She once longed to get her novel published at once, only to receive numerous rejection letters — much like the rocky straight road.(使用了“only to do”作结果状语) 【高分句型2】Seldom does life offer us a trouble-free path.(使用了否定词Seldom置于句首引起的部分倒装句式) 第二节(满分25分) 67. 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Colt, a 26-year-old electrician on vacation in central Arizona, set out to hike a remote trail in the Superstition Mountains by himself. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150左右。 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Zeto knew he must take action quickly. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After almost three tiring hours, they finally made it to Colt’s car. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: Zeto knew he must take action quickly. Zeto gave Colt some water and food he’d packed along. In his confused state, Colt mumbled something between ragged breaths, “car...parked...by the lake” , which gave Zeto a fixed destination to aim for: Canyon Lake. Colt was dizzy but could put one foot ahead of the other. Zeto knew the situation was urgent and wanted to take advantage of what strength the younger man had while it lasted. They got moving. But still, Colt grew weaker and weaker. Soon, Zeto had to support Colt so he wouldn’t fall. It made for slow going. They took several short breaks in the shade of the rocks. Zeto was tired from the effort but remained standing. Exhausted as he was, Zeto was determined to get them both to safety. After almost three tiring hours, they finally made it to Colt’s car. As Colt slipped in and out of consciousness, Zeto found his car keys, pushed him inside and drove to the closest town. Zeto then helped Colt out of the car and into an air-conditioned convenience shop. They sat down and poured some sports drinks down their throats. After a spell, Colt began to feel more like himself: His voice was more distinct, his words no longer nonsense. Eventually, the two drove back to the trailhead where their cars were parked. Zeto assured Colt was well enough to drive back to his family. Then they parted ways in their respective cars. Zeto checked in periodically by phone to make sure Colt arrived safely. It wasn’t the last time the two men spoke. They’ve stayed in touch ever since and became friends. 词汇激活 行为类 ①利用:take advantage of/make use of ②下定决心:be determined to do/make up one’s mind to do 情绪类 ①劳累的:tired/exhausted/worn-out ②时醒时睡:slip in and out of consciousness/hover between consciousness and unconsciousness 【点睛】【高分句型1】In his confused state, Colt mumbled something between ragged breaths, “car...parked...by the lake” , which gave Zeto a fixed destination to aim for: Canyon Lake.(运用了which引导的非限制性定语从句) 【高分句型2】Zeto knew the situation was urgent and wanted to take advantage of what strength the younger man had while it lasted.(运用了省略that的宾语从句和what引导的宾语从句以及while引导的时间状语从句) 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
