Many people want to know if animals can think and speak. I think animals can think, but they can’t speak like us.

All animals have their own ways to show feelings. A dog wags its tail when it is happy. A cat miaows loudly if it is hungry. They know what they want, so this proves(证明) they can think. They can remember their owners and find their way home too.

However, animals don’t have real language. They can’t say words or make sentences(句子) as we do. They use sounds and body language to send simple messages. Parrots can copy(模仿) our words, but they don’t understand the meaning.

In short, animals can feel happy, scared or tired, but they can’t talk with real words. They live in their quiet animal world with special animal languages.
