Post 1 I need my entire English-language website rewritten in natural, persuasive Thai. This is more than a straight translation: Every sentence must feel as though it was originally crafted for a Thai audience while preserving brand voice and any industry-specific term exactly. We will provide reference material where necessary. Please only reply if you are a native Thai writer with proven website copy experience and a sharp eye for technical accuracy. Post 2 I have a series of lifestyle blog pieces drafted in English that I need brought to life for a Myanmar (缅甸) audience. Your task is two-fold: First, produce a fluent, culturally tuned Burmese translation of each article; then record a clear, engaging voice-over (旁白) that matches the translated text word-for-word. Please confirm you are a native speaker with prior experience in both written translation and voice work. Post 3 I need assistance with a 150-page storybook manuscript (手稿). Requirements include basic proofreading (校对) for spelling and grammar errors and photo arrangement. Ideal skills like experience with children’s or storybook manuscripts, strong command of grammar and attention to detail and consistency are needed. Looking for one who can ensure the manuscript is polished and ready for publication. Post 4 I’m ready to turn my journey into a book, and I need a skilled writer to make it happen. The central thread is personal growth and overcoming challenges, so every chapter should leave the audience feeling empowered and hopeful. We will start with interviews so you can capture my story and develop a clear outline. If you have a track record in life-story writing and can keep the pace uplifting from start to finish, let’s talk. 1. What extra task is added to post 2’s translation job? A. Voice recording. B. Spelling and grammar check. C. Personal interviews. D. Adding more technical terms. 2. What can be inferred about the job in post 4? A. A manuscript is offered by the employer. B. The book is expected to inspire its readers. C. The writing style should be formal and academic. D. An outline needs to be made before the interview. 3. What is a shared qualification for the four jobs? A. Native speaker qualification. B. Manuscript proofreading tasks. C. Related working experience. D. Cross-language translation work. B Enric Sala isn’t a medical doctor, but he is regularly writing prescriptions (处方). His patient? The ocean. The prescription? Marine protected areas (MPAs) — a designated safe zone for ocean life where fishing, mining and other destructive human activities are banned. As news of coral bleaching, overfishing and ocean warming events dominate the headlines, the former university professor quit academia to become a full-time conservationist, advocating finding a cure for an ocean that, at times, can appear on its deathbed. Since 2008, Sala has built a team of scientists, filmmakers, policy professionals and communicators to form Pristine Seas — an initiative that explores marine ecosystems to help protect the world’s most vital ocean areas. On their expeditions, scientists and filmmakers are invited by governments to spend weeks at a time at sea, collecting films and data to submit to local government leaders so they can determine which parts of their ocean are most important to protect. Sala, a man who is equally at ease slipping on a wetsuit for a dive as he is donning a suit and tie for fundraising events or meetings with country leaders, understands that to truly inspire people to enact marine protections, you have to bring people close enough to care. “When we take government leaders down hundreds of meters underwater, we can open a window to their world that they’ve never seen before,” Sala says. “You can see the amazement and pride on their faces.” Perhaps MPAs’ biggest opponents are industrial fishing lobbyists (说客) keen on keeping oceans open to large-scale fishing efforts. They argue that MPAs would hold back economic development and decrease fisheries’ productivity. Sala and his colleague demonstrated that within MPAs, not only do target species bounce back, with an increase in fish biomass of more than 500%, but entire ecosystems are also restored. The populations then “spill over” into nearby unprotected fishing grounds. “Ocean protection and fishing have always had the same goal,” Sala says. 4. What is MPAs meant to do according to paragraph 1? A. Stop damaging ocean wildlife. B. Boost coastal fishing business. C. Explore unknown deep-sea areas. D. Seek new habitats for marine life. 5. Why does Sala take government leaders to dive underwater? A. To test the possibility of MPAs. B. To shoot underwater landscapes. C. To train them to dive for an ocean project. D. To touch their hearts and win their support. 6. What is Sala’s attitude to the fishing lobbyists’ idea? A. Supportive. B. Tolerant. C. Opposed. D. Unconcerned. 7. What can be the best title for the text? A. An Opponent of Boosting Ocean Economy B. An Ocean Doctor Without a Medical Degree C. An Advocate of Exploring the Deep Ocean in a New Way D. An Effort to Involve Governments in Oceanic Protection C Search online and you will find countless DIYbio trends that promise healthier aging, from using hyperbaric oxygen therapy to sleeping under red lights. But research from Tufts University points to a much simpler lifestyle change that appears to work: eating slightly fewer calories. The findings come from CALERIE, short for Comprehensive Assessment of Long-term Effects of Reducing Intake of Energy. In the study, 143 participants tried to reduce their calorie intake by 25% for two years, while 75 others continued eating normally as the control group. Researchers found notable improvements among the participants who reduced calories. Many shifted their diets away from fats and toward more protein and carbohydrates. Although the group achieved only about a 12% calorie reduction instead of the targeted 25%, they still experienced significant declines in blood pressure, LDL cholesterol, and insulin levels compared with the control group. A paper released earlier this year found that lowering calorie intake did not reduce the overall nutritional quality of participants’ diets. “The most exciting part is that we saw these benefits with only a moderate level of restriction that’s feasible for most people. It doesn’t have to take extreme measures. For some people, just skipping a large daily sugary coffee drink can do the trick,” says Sai Krupa Das, one of the researchers. Researchers are still unable to understand exactly why calorie restriction boosts health. One theory is that eating less helps the body generate energy more efficiently while producing fewer reactive oxygen species, unstable molecules (分子) that can damage cells and contribute to diseases ranging from cancer to Parkinson’s disease. One test confirmed that the participants in the calorie restriction group had lower levels of these molecules than the control group. The CALERIE project is still ongoing. Researchers still do not know whether calorie restriction works best as a permanent lifestyle or as a shorter-term intervention. “I think the follow-up was necessary given such promising results in the primary study, and it is crucial to see how things play out over time,” Das says. 8. What is the effective way to slow aging according to the research from Tufts University? A. Receiving oxygen treatment. B. Using red lights while sleeping. C. Trying various DIYbio methods. D. Cutting down food calories a little. 9. What do we know about the calorie-cutting participants? A. They took in much less protein. B. They quitted before the deadline. C. Their health indicators turned better generally. D. Their diets were richer than the control group’s. 10. What does the underlined word “feasible” in paragraph 4 mean? A. Strange. B. Practical. C. Suspicious. D. Predictable. 11. Why do researchers carry out further research? A. To explore long-term effects of calorie restriction. B. To figure out new approaches to restricting calories. C. To explain why calorie restriction improves health. D. To detect how reactive oxygen species harm health. D At Art Basel Hong Kong, Asia’s biggest art fair, a mysterious AI agent silently observed passersby through two tracking cameras. Not even its creator knew quite what it was looking for. Every two or three minutes, it picked someone out from the crowd and turned its perception (感知) of their facial emotions into a virtual character, with which it would discuss internally. Then, on a large screen, a digital artwork was changing in real time to include what had been discussed. The final 20 pieces — videos capturing each two-hour process, from start to finish — are being offered to art collectors for a minimum of $12,000 each. “I’m not inputting orders, but just holding its virtual hand here and making sure that it doesn’t offend anybody,” joked Mario Klingemann, one of the project’s creators. This is Botto, an AI artist that has been creating digital images and selling them online since 2021. In that time, its artistic sensibilities have evolved as it learns what people like (or don’t) and adapts to their tastes. Botto is governed by thousands of human participants as well. Each week, its AI-powered art engine creates 350 new digital works around a predetermined theme. It then presents them to BottoDAO, an open online community comprising more than 28,000 members. They often engage in spirited discussions about the artworks’ aesthetic merits (审美价值), debating how they respond to the theme, before voting for their favorites or down-voting those they dislike. After voting closes, the week’s winning piece is sold. Yet, apart from voting and handling the logistics, Botto’s creators claim that human involvement in Botto’s processes is limited to copyediting the AI’s sales listings for spelling and punctuation (标点) errors. So, as Botto is enhancing its creative vision over the years, should human artists be worried? The project’s co-lead Simon Hudson said, “The most important question for artists should be ‘What does my humanity make possible that AI cannot access?’” 12. What is the AI agent at the art fair doing? A. Creating art from people’s feelings. B. Following its designers’ instructions. C. Recording people’s body movements. D. Practicing communicating with people. 13. What do Mario Klingemann’s words mainly show? A. He controls the AI’s creative ideas. B. He needs to adjust the AI’s settings. C. The AI works primarily on its own. D. The AI often makes wrong content. 14. What is the main duty of BottoDAO members? A. To design weekly creative themes. B. To pick out outstanding creations. C. To take control of the AI’s creation. D. To promote AI works to collectors. 15. What does Simon Hudson stress in his words? A. People should accept the rise of AI art. B. AI still needs much improvement in art. C. AI will take the place of human artists at last. D. Human artists own unique advantages over AI. Have you ever wondered how to turn plain lines into striking poetry? Many beginners find polishing poems confusing. This article shares useful ideas to sharpen your poetic expressions step by step. ____16____ Avoid relying on abstract language, ground your poem in specific images of people, places, and objects. You can also engage all five senses — smell, taste, touch, sight, and sound — to pull your readers into the world you’re building and make images come alive for them. Say you want to express happiness. Instead of stating “I felt happy”, paint a scene with sensory details: “My smile lit up the room like wildfire.” Include literary devices. Techniques like metaphors and similes (暗喻和明喻) add variety and depth to your poetry. ____17____ It’s a good practice to use literary devices throughout your poem, but avoid relying merely on metaphors or just similes. Remember to vary your types in your writing. Write for the ear. ____18____ You should write your poem with a focus on how it sounds on the page. As you put down your ideas, spare no effort to think about how your writing sounds when read. This habit gives you freedom to arrange poem structures and select delicate words, and helps you explore natural line flow as well as unique sounds from adjacent (临近的) words. Avoid clichés (陈词滥调). ____19____ Instead, go for fresh, imaginative descriptions to appeal to your readers. If a line feels too commonplace, replace it with something more original. For example, instead of writing “She was as busy as a bee”, try “Her hands were never still” or “She rushed through the kitchen without pause”. ____20____ A. Focus on vivid, concrete details. B. Look through examples of poetry. C. Poetry is made to be read out loud. D. Creative choices make your poetry stand out and feel alive. E. Using them can allow you to paint a detailed picture for your readers. F. You should also make sure spelling and grammar in the poem are correct. G. These overused phrases have lost their impact because they’re too familiar. Years ago, John’s 10-year-old daughter Keane had a sudden tics (抽搐). My fun trip to the store with my friends to try on new shoes was no longer fun. Later, when I complained to my parents about the size of my feet, they told me that my feet were doing their job, supporting my body. “Besides, a nice tall girl like you would look funny with tiny little feet,” my father added. The good thing about growing up in a small town is that you get a lot of feedback. The bad thing is that you get a lot of feedback. Neighbors, friends, even grocery clerks knew my family, and knew that I was the second child, taller and broader than my older sister, and had big feet. What I thought were personal details were topics open for discussion. Back then I was, in fact, the tallest girl in my sixth-grade class. People described me as “a big-boned girl”. I was too tall, my shoulders too wide, my wrists and ankles too thick, and on and on. I dared not stand up straight in the peers, and I was afraid of standing out. I was always feeling alone and horrified. My physical height made me aware of the differences between what people said and their hidden inner thoughts. Someone might ask, “Oh, you’re in what grade now? How nice!”, while they were thinking, “My goodness, she must be the tallest girl in her entire class.” Mom probably worried every year when I watched beauty pageants (选美比赛) shows and disappeared into the bathroom afterward to look myself over in the mirror. She called the shows “entertainment” and held a low opinion of contests designed to judge a person primarily on her outer beauty. I was stuck in negative thoughts until a PE class changed everything. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The experience totally changed my attitude towards my appearance. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 英语学业水平调研 注意事项: 1. 1. An Effort to Involve Governments in Oceanic Protection 【答案】4. A 5. D 6. C 7. 根据第一段中“Marine protected areas (MPAs) — a designated safe zone for ocean life where fishing, mining and other destructive human activities are banned. (海洋保护区(MPAs)——一个为海洋生物指定的安全区域,禁止捕鱼、采矿和其他破坏性人类活动。)”可知,MPAs旨在阻止对海洋野生动物的破坏。 【5题详解】 推理判断题。根据第三段中Sala所说的话“When we take government leaders down hundreds of meters underwater, we can open a window to their world that they’ve never seen before (当我们把政府领导人带到几百米的水下时,我们可以打开一扇他们从未见过的世界的窗户)”和“You can see the amazement and pride on their faces. (你可以看到他们脸上流露出的惊讶与自豪。)”可知,Sala通过让政府领导人亲眼目睹海洋奇观,激发他们的情感共鸣,从而促使他们支持海洋保护,也就是想打动他们的心并赢得他们的支持。 【6题详解】 推理判断题。根据第四段中“They argue that MPAs would hold back economic development and decrease fisheries’ productivity. (他们认为,MPAs会阻碍经济发展,并降低渔业的生产力。)”和最后一段中“Sala and his colleague demonstrated that within MPAs, not only do target species bounce back, with an increase in fish biomass of more than 500%, but entire ecosystems are also restored. The populations then “spill over” into nearby unprotected fishing grounds. (Sala和他的同事证明,在MPAs内,目标物种不仅迅速恢复,鱼类生物量增加超过500%,而且整个生态系统也得到恢复。然后种群“溢出”到附近未受保护的渔场。)”可知,渔业游说者认为MPAs会阻碍经济发展和渔业生产力,而Sala用数据证明MPAs反而能恢复鱼类种群并惠及周边渔场,反驳了对方的论点,表明他对渔业游说者的观点持反对态度。 【7题详解】 主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是第一段中“Enric Sala isn’t a medical doctor, but he is regularly writing prescriptions (处方). His patient? The ocean. The prescription? C Search online and you will find countless DIYbio trends that promise healthier aging, from using hyperbaric oxygen therapy to sleeping under red lights. D 9. C 10. B 11. 根据第一段中“But research from Tufts University points to a much simpler lifestyle change that appears to work: eating slightly fewer calories. (但塔夫茨大学的研究指出一种更简单的生活方式改变似乎有效:稍微少吃点卡路里。)”可知,根据塔夫茨大学的研究,延缓衰老的有效方法是稍微减少食物卡路里的摄入。 【9题详解】 细节理解题。根据第三段中“Although the group achieved only about a 12% calorie reduction instead of the targeted 25%, they still experienced significant declines in blood pressure, LDL cholesterol, and insulin levels compared with the control group. (尽管该组仅实现了约12%的热量减少,未达到目标的25%,但与对照组相比,他们的血压、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇和胰岛素水平仍显著下降。)”可知,减少卡路里的参与者的健康指标总体上变好了。 【10题详解】 词句猜测题。根据画线词的下文“It doesn’t have to take extreme measures. For some people, just skipping a large daily sugary coffee drink can do the trick (不必采取极端措施。对某些人来说,只需每天少喝一大杯含糖咖啡就足以达到效果。)”可知,实现这些好处无需极端措施,仅改变微小的日常饮食习惯就可以,说明这对大多数人来说是可行的,画线词的意思是“可行的,办得到的”,与Practical“切实有效的,切实可行的”意思接近。 【11题详解】 细节理解题。根据最后一段中“Researchers still do not know whether calorie restriction works best as a permanent lifestyle or as a shorter-term intervention. “I think the follow-up was necessary given such promising results in the primary study, and it is crucial to see how things play out over time,” Das says. (研究人员仍然不清楚热量限制是作为长期生活方式还是短期干预措施效果最佳。“考虑到初步研究结果非常有希望,我认为后续随访是必要的,而且观察其长期发展情况至关重要,”Das说。)”可知,研究人员进行进一步研究是为了探索卡路里限制的长期效果。 D At Art Basel Hong Kong, Asia’s biggest art fair, a mysterious AI agent silently observed passersby through two tracking cameras. A 13. C 14. B 15. 根据第一段中“Every two or three minutes, it picked someone out from the crowd and turned its perception (感知) of their facial emotions into a virtual character, with which it would discuss internally. Then, on a large screen, a digital artwork was changing in real time to include what had been discussed. (每隔两三分钟,它就会从人群中挑出一个人,将其对这个人面部情绪的感知转化为一个虚拟角色,并与该角色进行内部讨论。然后,在大屏幕上,一件数字艺术品会实时变化,将讨论的内容纳入其中。)”可知,在展会上它根据人们的感受创作艺术。 【13题详解】 推理判断题。根据第二段中Mario Klingemann所说的话““I’m not inputting orders, but just holding its virtual hand here and making sure that it doesn’t offend anybody (我不是在输入指令,只是在这里牵着它的虚拟手,确保它不会冒犯任何人)”可知,他并没有直接控制AI的创作过程,只是进行监督,这表明AI主要是自主工作。 【14题详解】 细节理解题。根据第四段中“They often engage in spirited discussions about the artworks’ aesthetic merits (审美价值), debating how they respond to the theme, before voting for their favorites or down-voting those they dislike. After voting closes, the week’s winning piece is sold. (他们经常就艺术品的美学价值展开热烈讨论,争论它们如何回应主题,然后投票选出最喜欢的作品,或给不喜欢的作品投反对票。投票结束后,当周的获胜作品会被出售。)”可知,BottoDAO成员的主要职责是挑选出优秀的创作。 【15题详解】 推理判断题。根据最后一段中Simon Hudson所说的话“The most important question for artists should be ‘What does my humanity make possible that AI cannot access?’ (对艺术家来说,最重要的问题应该是:‘我的人性使得什么成为可能,而AI无法触及?’)”可知,他指出人类艺术家应关注自身人性带来的、AI无法触及的独特价值,强调的是人类艺术家与AI相比具有独特的优势。 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Have you ever wondered how to turn plain lines into striking poetry? 【答案】16. A 17. E 18. C 19. G 20. My classmates found it both challenging and fun, and it greatly sparked our creativity. What’s more, we learned to collaborate better, which impressed our teacher deeply. Looking forward to hearing from you! Yours, Li Hua 【解析】 【导语】题目要求学生以李华的身份,给外国朋友Alex写一封邮件,分享班级开展的科幻故事接力赛活动,应从时间、地点和过程等详细介绍该活动,并说明活动的反响。 【详解】1. 词汇积累 使人兴奋的:exciting→exhilarating, thrilling 意料之外的:unexpected→unforeseen, unanticipated 激发:spark→ignite, kindle 合作:collaborate→cooperate, work jointly 2. 句式拓展 简单句变复合句 原句:Last Wednesday afternoon, our English writing class held a sci-fi story relay race with the theme “Future”. 拓展句:Last Wednesday afternoon, our English writing class held a sci-fi story relay race, whose theme was “Future”. 【点睛】[高分句型1] It took place in our classroom, where each student contributed a part within five minutes to build a complete story. (运用了where引导非限制性定语从句) [高分句型2] The process was incredibly exciting because everyone’s wild imagination added unexpected twists. (运用了because引导原因状语从句) 第二节(满分25分) 47. 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 The entire store echoed with Mr. Winter’s loud voice as I hurried to put my shoes back on. “We don’t have any size 10 shoes for young ladies.” My head sank lower as my face got hot. 注意: (1) 续写词数应为150个左右; (2) 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 I was stuck in negative thoughts until a PE class changed everything. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The experience totally changed my attitude towards my appearance. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: I was stuck in negative thoughts until a PE class changed everything. That day, our teacher organized a relay race. As I stood there, my heart pounded with anxiety — I had always tried to hide my tall figure. But when my turn came, I forgot everything and sprinted with all my strength, my long legs carrying me far ahead of others. To my surprise, I won the race easily. The teacher praised my speed and said, “Your height gives you an advantage — you’re born to run fast!” My classmates cheered, and for the first time, I felt proud of my body instead of ashamed. The experience totally changed my attitude towards my appearance. I realized that my so-called “flaws” were actually strengths in disguise. From then on, I stood up straight and walked with confidence. When someone commented on my big feet, I simply smiled and said, “They help me run faster.” My mother noticed the change and hugged me tightly. I finally understood that true beauty lies in embracing who you are, not in fitting others’ narrow standards. My father’s words echoed in my mind: “A nice tall girl would look funny with tiny little feet.” He was right. 词汇激活 行为类 ①跳动:pound/beat ②赞扬:praise/commend/applaud/compliment 情绪类 ①惊讶:surprise/astonishment/amazement ②羞愧的:ashamed/humiliated 【点睛】[高分句型1] But when my turn came, I forgot everything and sprinted with all my strength, my long legs carrying me far ahead of others. (运用了when引导时间状语从句、独立主格结构my long legs carrying…作状语) [高分句型2] I finally understood that true beauty lies in embracing who you are, not in fitting others’ narrow standards. (运用了that引导宾语从句、动名词短语embracing…和fitting…分别作宾语、who引导宾语从句) 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
