On the evening of 21st March, 2025, a 10-year-old boy from Lingshui, Hainan, went fishing alone in a small boat. He didn’t know that this trip would become a dangerous adventure.
He sat in the warm sun for many hours and fell asleep on the boat. When he woke up, the sky was dark. Suddenly, the wind changed its way. Strong sea water pushed his boat far away from the coast. The boy tried hard to row back home, but the big waves were too strong. His boat moved farther and farther into the open sea. He remembered survival skills, so he went with the sea water and used stars as guides.
After nearly 16 hours’ sailing, his skin turned red because of the sun, and his clothes were covered in salt from the seawater. What’s worse, he had no food or water. He was tired but calm. Luckily, the next afternoon, a fishing boat heard his weak cries for help. The boat leader and his workers saved him quickly. They gave him bread and milk. After eating some food, the boy slowly got his strength back. Later, he told them his unbelievable story—his boat moved more than 16 kilometres away from his home!

Hello everyone, I’m honored to share my favorite book, The Little Prince.
It is a famous French novel written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The story tells about a little prince who travels from planet to planet. He meets different people and learns about love and responsibility. From this book, I have learnt that true beauty lies in the heart, not the eyes. It teaches me to cherish friendship and keep a pure heart.
Reading good books helps us grow wisely. Let’s read more and become better together. Thank you!
