Did you know that writing things by hand can help your mind? It’s true! When you write with a pen, your mind works harder than when you type (打字) on a computer.
Scientists studied children’s minds when they wrote or typed. They found that more parts of their minds started working together when children wrote by hand. But this didn’t happen as much when they typed on a computer. In other words, writing things down can help children remember them better.
There is a big difference between writing by hand and typing on a computer. According to scientists, writing by hand can help children spell words and understand new ideas. Typing is faster, but writing by hand still helps a lot. Why? Because when children write, they do it slowly. This slow step-by-step work gives their minds more time to learn and think about what they write.
In California, people passed a law. It says children must learn to write by hand. For one thing, knowing how to write helps children grow up. For another, they hope that children can get more benefits of writing by hand, because writing by hand helps children think more clearly and express (表达) themselves better.
So, next time you need to remember something, try writing it down with a pen. It may help your mind work better and remember the information. Writing things out may look slow, but it can be good for your mind.

I’m Li Hua. I’m writing to talk about our school’s “Green Together Week”.

Then, we decide to clean up the community in groups. After that, our community will become tidy and beautiful. Finally, putting up friendly green signs around our community is also a good idea.
I hope that we can learn to protect our blue planet and know that we are better together when we work as a team.
Yours,
