Knowing how to use a fire extinguisher could save lives in an emergency. The key is to use the “PASS”. Now, let’s learn how to follow this tip to put out a fire.

	Pull the pin at the top of the fire extinguisher.
	Aim at the base (根部) of the fire instead of the flames.
	Squeeze (挤压) the handle slowly with one hand.
	Sweep from side to side until the fire is fully out.

REMEMBER: If the flames are taller than you, or the fire is getting bigger, leave quickly. Get everybody out or away from the area before using an extinguisher.
