—________ two weeks.
A. In B. On C. For D. At
根据“two weeks.”

—Sorry, I don’t know the ________. My uncle gives it to me.
A. tape B. price C. question D. name
根据“My uncle gives it to me”可知,此句是说不知道价格,故选B。
3. When ________ parents went away on business, I looked after ________.
A. my; myself B. my; mine C. me; myself D. me; mine
【答案】A
故选A。
4. I used to ________ at seven, but now I am getting used to ________ at half past six.
A. getting up; get up B. got up; getting up C. got up; get up D. get up; getting up
used to do sth.“过去常常做某事”,to后接动词原形;be/get used to doing sth.“习惯做某事”,to为介词,后接动名词。
5. This math problem is ________ difficult for me ________ work out.
A. so; that B. such; that C. too; to D. enough; to
so…that如此……以至于(that后需接完整从句);such…that如此……以至于(that后需接完整从句);too…to太…… 句子后半部分为动词原形work out,排除 A、B;enough修饰形容词时应置于形容词之后,本题空位于difficult之前,故排除D;too...to结构意为“太……
6. —________ you ever ________ Dounan Flower Market?
—No. I plan to go some day.
A. Have; visited B. Do; visit C. Did; visit D. Are; visiting
【答案】A
7. —Do you have an umbrella? It’s raining ________ outside.
—Yes, thank you.
A. clearly B. softly C. hardly D. heavily
8. —The book Little Women is good. I like it very much.

A. interesting something B. anything interesting
C. something interesting D. everything interesting
【答案】C

A. strongest; best and best B. the strongest; better and better
C. strongest; better and better D. the strongest; more and more better
应用“比较级+and+比较级”结构,good的比较级是better,即better and better。
10. —This is a photo of my family. Would you like to see it?
—Wow! ________ happy family!
A. What a B. How a C. What D. How
【答案】A
故选A。

后文出现the tallest mountain、climb、stood on the top of the mountain, high“高的”对应高山攀登的情节;short“低矮的”;flat“平坦的”;smooth“平缓的”无法匹配登顶爬山的内容。
此处描写考试失败后回家,came back意为“返回”,came back home即回到家,贴合童年往事的上下文;gave back“归还”;paid back“偿还”;called back“回电”语义不通。
前文“your little partners all laughed at your mistakes”,partners对应friends“伙伴、朋友”;teachers“老师”;parents“父母”;cousins“表兄妹”和童年一同练琴的玩伴不符。

However, the deepest and longest fantastic canyon on Earth is Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon (雅鲁藏布大峡谷) in China. It lies in Xizang and is about 504.6 kilometers long, nearly twice as long as the Grand Canyon.
Lots of visitors hope to visit Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, but it is not easy to get inside. If you go into the canyon on foot, you need to walk for days through thick forests with wild animals and steep mountains. Taking a car from nearby towns takes almost one full day.

In 1994, a team of scientists went into the valley to research local rivers and plants, and they finally found its amazing depth. All members of the research team finished the hard trip safely.
Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon drops from high mountains to low river valleys. The river rushes down between tall cliffs. Because of its great depth, the weather inside changes greatly. In dry months, many small rivers dry up, but in rainy months, the whole canyon looks amazing with flowing water. Lots of people regard it as one of the greatest natural wonders on Earth.

最后一段提到“Because of its great depth, the weather inside changes greatly”,说明大峡谷的大深度导致峡谷内部天气变化很大,题干表述符合原文。

例文
A Lesson from Growing Up
Growing up is full of challenges and lessons.
Last year, I learned to swim. At first, I was really afraid of water and wanted to give up. However, my coach encouraged me to try again. I practiced hard every day despite the difficulties. Finally, I could swim freely in the pool. This experience taught me that persistence leads to success.

Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon drops from high mountains to low river valleys. The river rushes down between tall cliffs. Because of its great depth, the weather inside changes greatly.
