【语法要点】
A. 动词 + to‑infinitives（动词 + 不定式）
有些动词后面可以接 to do（不定式）作宾语，表示“去做某事”。常见动词有：start, begin, try, decide, want, plan, learn, hope, wish, agree, refuse 等。
- start to do 开始做某事
- begin to do 开始做某事
- try to do 尝试做某事
- decide to do 决定做某事
- want to do 想要做某事
- plan to do 计划做某事
例句：
1. The pandas started to come out of their home.
大熊猫开始从它们的家里出来。
2. He began to eat bamboo for breakfast.
他开始吃竹子当早餐。
3. After that, he tried to exercise.
之后，他尝试锻炼。
4. He decided to climb a tree.
他决定爬树。
5. He even wanted to climb over the wall.
他甚至想爬过墙去。
B. Using to‑infinitives to express purpose（用不定式表示目的）
不定式可以用来表示做某事的目的，相当于 in order to，可以翻译为“为了……”。

- to do = in order to do（为了做某事）
- 在正式文体中常用 in order to。
例句：
1. We prepare all kinds of food to give her a healthy diet.
= We prepare all kinds of food in order to give her a healthy diet.
我们准备各种食物，为了给她健康的饮食。
2. We buy toys to make her happy.
我们买玩具为了让她开心。
3. We plan to give her a special cake and some gifts to celebrate her birthday.
我们计划给她一个特别的蛋糕和一些礼物来庆祝她的生日。
C. Using verbs + objects + infinitives with/without to（动词+宾语+带to或不带to的不定式）
有些动词后面可以接“宾语 + 不定式”，其中不定式可以带 to 或不带 to。
否定形式： 在 to 前面加 not，即 not to do。
例句：
1. The pandas made us all laugh.
大熊猫让我们都笑了。
2. I saw a baby lion stay near its mother.
我看到一只小狮子待在妈妈身边。
3. Mr Wu asked us not to feed the animals.
吴老师叫我们不要喂动物。
4. It helped us (to) understand the importance of protecting animals.
它帮助我们理解了保护动物的重要性。
