There are many different kinds of deer in the world, and Southern Pudus are one of the special kinds. They mainly live in the forests of South America.
Southern Pudus are famous for their small size. They are almost the size of a common pet dog. They have short strong legs and soft brown fur. The fur color helps them hide (躲藏) easily in dark woods. When they are born (出生), baby pudus have clear white spots. However, these white spots will completely disappear when they are three months old.
These little deer usually live in small families deep in the forests. Because they are shy and quiet, people can hardly see them in the wild. Southern Pudus are plant-eating animals. They feed on fresh fruits, beautiful flowers and other green plants. Sometimes they stand on their back legs to get higher leaves on small trees. Interestingly, they do not need to drink lots of water every day. They can get enough water from their daily food.
Now Southern Pudus are in great danger. They face many serious problems in nature. Some wild animals such as wild cats, eagles (鹰) and foxes (狐狸) often hunt them for food. Besides, humans keep cutting down lots of trees. The forests are becoming smaller and smaller, so the poor pudus are losing their homes.

Do you want to live a happier life? Try laughing for no reason. That’s how many people start their day at Laughter Yoga (瑜伽) Clubs around the world, and many doctors now think that having a good laugh might be one of the best ways to stay healthy.
The first Laughter Yoga Club was started in Mumbai, India, in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria. “Young children laugh about 300 times a day. Adults laugh between 7 and 15 times a day,” says Dr. Kataria. “Everyone is naturally good at laughing. We want people to feel happy with their lives.”
A study at the UCLA School of Medicine in California shows that laughter reduces stress (减缓压力) and is very good for the heart. Laughter Yoga is used in many hospitals for illness treatment (疾病治疗) and it is also practiced in schools, factories and old people’s homes.
Besides reducing stress, laughing can exercise many muscles on our faces. It makes blood run well in the face and keeps our skin fresh. What’s more, it cheers us up easily and helps us make more friends.
So what is Laughter Yoga? I went to my nearest Laughter Yoga Club to find out. I was quite nervous about it. I didn’t like the idea of laughing with others. First, our laughter teacher told us to clap our hands and say, “Ho ho ho, ha ha ha.” He said our bodies can’t tell (区分) the difference between fake laughter and real laughter, so they both work. After ten minutes, everybody in the room was laughing for real! We did different kinds of laughter exercises and finally I was surprised by how relaxed I felt.
So if you’re sad about something, just start laughing. As Dr. Kataria says, “When you laugh, you change, and when you change, the world around you changes.”
34. How does the writer begin the text?
A. By telling a story. B. By giving an example.
C. By asking a question. D. By listing numbers.

B. It makes blood run well all round the body.
C. Only the real laughter can work.

37. How did the writer feel in his Laughter Yoga Club experience?
a. Nervous. b. Surprised. c. Sad d. Relaxed.
A. abd B. abc C. acd D. bcd
38. What can we learn from Dr. Kataria’s last words?
A. The whole world will change its lifestyle (生活方式) because of laughing.

D. People can never change themselves without laughter.

Travel is like a box of chocolates. You won’t know what you’ll get, especially (尤其是) when you choose blind box travel (盲盒旅游).
Now blind box travel is becoming more and more popular among young people in China. What is blind box travel? If you don’t like to make plans and you are interested in some unknown (未知的) journeys (旅行), you can choose to buy a blind box plane ticket at a low price, usually 100-200 yuan. Then you’ll get some places to choose from. They can be busy cities, quiet beaches, mountain villages and so on. Once you pick a place and send your personal (个人的) information to the airline (航空公司), you can start your journey.

danger(危险,名词)的形容词形式为dangerous。
“games, social media and TV shows”表明这个怪物以多种形式出现。form(形式)需变为复数forms。
“But we just sit there and”表明此处指吞噬“我们的”时间。修饰名词time需要用形容词性物主代词,we(我们,主格)需变为 our(我们的)。

“Among all bad habits, wasting time on screens…problems for young people.”
one需变为复数ones(人们)。
by doing sth.
“So, stand up and leave the screens!”
