Present continuous tense 现在进行时
1. New Year's Day is coming.
元旦就要来了。
- is coming 现在进行时表将来（表示即将发生的事）
- e.g. New Year's Day ____________ coming.
2. Our school is having a show to celebrate the festival.
我们学校正在举办一场演出庆祝这个节日。
- is having 现在进行时，表示正在进行的动作
- celebrate v. 庆祝（→ celebration n. 庆祝）
- e.g. Our school ____________ having a show.
3. Look at me, the girl in the middle! We are dancing.
看我，中间那个女孩！我们在跳舞。
- Look! 看！（现在进行时的标志词）
- are dancing 现在进行时
- e.g. Look! We ____________ dancing.
4. The boy behind us is Daniel. He is playing the violin.
我们后面的男孩是Daniel。他在拉小提琴。
- behind prep. 在……后面（反义词 in front of）
- is playing 现在进行时
- play the violin 拉小提琴（乐器前加the）
- e.g. He ____________ playing the violin.
5. The girl over there is Sandy. She is playing the piano with another girl.
那边的女孩是Sandy。她和另一个女孩在弹钢琴。

8. I am dancing. / I am not dancing.

- am + doing（肯定）
- am not + doing（否定）
- e.g. I ____________ dancing. / I ____________ not dancing.
9. You/We/They are dancing. / You/We/They are not dancing.
你/我们/他们正在跳舞。/ 你/我们/他们没有在跳舞。
- are + doing（肯定）
- are not (aren't) + doing（否定）

- Am/Are/Is + 主语 + doing? 一般疑问句

是的，我在。/ 不，我没有。
- I am 肯定回答
- I'm not 否定回答
- e.g. Yes, I ____________. / No, I'm ____________.
13. Yes, you/we/they are. / No, you/we/they aren't.

- are 肯定回答
- aren't 否定回答

【现在进行时动词-ing变化规则】
大多数动词 + ing walk → walking
以不发音e结尾，去e + ing welcome → welcoming
以ie结尾，变ie为y + ing lie → lying
重读闭音节，末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写该字母 + ing put → putting
