定义:一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,通常与现在没有联系。
一般过去时(Simple Past Tense)

肯定句:主语 + 动词的过去式 + 其他
否定句:① 含be动词:主语 + was/were + not + 其他
② 含行为动词:主语 + didn't + 动词原形 + 其他
一般疑问句:① 含be动词:Was/Were + 主语 + 其他?
② 含行为动词:Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
Language points
规则动词:过去式通常在词尾加ed,如:work — worked,play — played。
不规则动词:过去式形式不规则,需要单独记忆,如:go — went,eat — ate。

一般过去时的特殊疑问句
一般过去时的特殊疑问句可对过去的动作发生的时间、地点、原因、方式等进行提问。句式结构如下:
谓语动词是be动词
疑问词作主语
疑问词作其他成分
谓语动词是实义动词
疑问词+was/were
+其他?
疑问词+实义动词的过去式(+其他)?
疑问词+was/were+主语(+其他)?
疑问词+did+主语+实义动词原形(+其他)?

不规则动词
有许多动词的过去式是不规则变化,需要单独记忆。例如:
be → was (用于第一、三人称单数)
/ were (用于第二人称单复数、第一、三人称复数)
awake → awoke
bear → bore
become → became
