1.形容词性物主代词 vs 名词性物主代词
形容词性物主代词(my, your, his, her, its, our, their)后必须接名词,作定语

名词性物主代词(mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs)后不接名词,相当于 “形容词性物主代词 + 名词”,可作主语、表语

一、词汇易混辨析
1.连词 and /but/or
and 表示并列或顺承关系,意为 “和;并且”
例:He drew the pictures and I wrote the words.
but 表示转折关系,意为 “但是;然而”
例:We lost the game, but we had a good time.
or 表示选择关系,意为 “或者;还是”,否定句中表并列
例:Do you want to play basketball or football?

2.形容词变副词的 -ly 后缀规则
一般形容词直接加 -ly:quiet → quietly; careful → carefully
