Dear Lucy,
It’s great to hear from you. I feel proud to know that you are interested in Chinese history.
My favorite person in Chinese history is Confucius. He was a great teacher and thinker who lived over 2,000 years ago. He had many wise ideas about kindness, respect and learning. He traveled around and taught many students. His words were written down in a book called The Analects.
Confucius has a great influence on me. His saying “learning without thinking is useless” teaches me to think more when I study. I also learn to be kind and respect others from him.
